A fun and fast read about two friends that want to be friends but also have feelings for the other one. Thea is trying to get into the Christmas spirit but it is difficult for when her ex stole her entry into the festival of trees. Now still upset with herself allowing her ex to still get to her, Mike her best friend tells her that she can decorate his firms entry into the festival. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Forsythia aka Thea had been BFF with Michale aka Mike since Freshman year of high school. Mike and his mother moved into the house behind Thea and her parents. They grew up together until the two went there separate ways for college.

Mike has suppressed his feelings for Thea, but not anymore. He is determined to get out of the friend box this Christmas and into each other’s arms.

Hey, you guys! Today I want to talk with you about one of my newest reads! As you can see, the book is called Snowlicious by Leigh Lavalle. This is the first time I heard about this author and I am really excited to tell you my opinion on her book. So, as you know me, I really liked this book, especially on this time of the year because lets get serious, this is romance we are talking about! I love to get ready for the winter and for the holiday season with some tingly little romance novels and ...more

Snowlicious, what a great title for a winter romance! This is a friends-to-lovers holiday novella, that captures the magic of the season with desire, warmth and lots of snow. I enjoy stories about couples that find themselves "snowed-in" due to bad weather, and author Leigh Lavelle is able to execute the theme with ease.

Thea and Mike are best friends, but they yearn to be more. Thea is a florist and every Christmas she enters the Festival of Trees competition via one of her clients. Unfortunatel

Snowlicious is a cute and sweet novella about a man, Mike, who hopes to finally get out of the friend zone with his best friend, Thea. He knows that they’ve both been feeling the chemistry sparking between them recently, but also realizes that Thea seems reluctant to acknowledge that’s she’s feeling anything other than friendship for him. The story is Christmas-themed, and provides a lot of detail for such a short novella. I could definitely feel the shared history and both characters’ hesistanc ...more

Mike and Thea have been friends for a long time. But now they're older and are secretly attracted to each other. They both have fears of ruining their friendship by taking a chance and going on to the next phase. Out of the Friend Zone into the L-Zone.

Mike is a lawyer who had many one night stands but they were never the ones he wanted, which was Thea. Thea has recently divorced and owns a Floral Shop. I guess it was time to throw caution to the wind and take a chance on Love huh.

Thanks to #NetGalley for the advanced copy.

Being a big fan of Christmas, I absolutely loved this festive novella full of love, friendship and snow. Probably the plot is not extremely original, but it doesn't matter since the atmosphere in the book is so nice and heartwarming. I really loved Thea, her struggle for indipendence and her stubbornness, and I loved Mike too. This is really a good Christmas novel for those who love winter time and reading a book in a cozy environment with a cup of cof

I would give this book a 2.5. It is a quick read with a sexy moment of two. The premise for this book sounded interesting to me, but I found it to be kind of blah.

I didn't feel any real heat between Mike and Thea. The friendship connection seemed strong, but not the romantic connection.

I was able to read this book via Kindle Unlimited.

Super cute story about a guy trying to get out of the friend zone! This was a quick read which was a nice change. The pace of the book was good. I couldn't put it down. I love winter books where the couple get snowed in.

Short, sweet, and just a little sexy. Who doesn't love a wintry friends-to-lovers romance?
