well, what a surprise!

Brutal story taking place during Post Civil War era. You will not find a story of forgiveness but you you will find sacrifices and love and loyalty! And a very surprising ending!

excellent

I read this in an afternoon. Once I started, I couldn’t stop reading. My husband got to watch a few bowl games because I was engrossed. Very well done. Reminds me of Cormac McCarthy.

Ended too soon!
Concise, exciting, with unexpected moments. Not sure what a sequel could possibly entail, but I would certainly read it
