This is another book that my husband and I read everyday together. I really enjoy it. We started reading it last year and is reading it again this year.
A good resource for couples. My husband and I read through this together one devotion at a time. Some were very helpful, others didn't hit us quite as much. But overall, a quality devotional.
My wife and I try to do daily devotionals. We think it strengthens our relationship and put God in the center. Many times the devotion will lead to a discussion that needed to take place that might not have come up otherwise. We always end our devotions praying together. A couple who prays together stays together. This took more than a year to get through due to our work schedules being so opposite. My wife is an RN who works the night shift many days a week.
This was a good couples devotional that brought up a lot of issues that God needed to be involved in with our marriage.
I read this book daily along with my devotional Bible Reading and I was very impressed with it. Part way through the year my husband joined me in the daily reading. This is a very helpful, well-done guide for couples. I certainly intend to read it again within a year or two as I think that it is the best Daily Devotional that I have read in our 50 years of marriage. Thanks H. Norman Wright for a great resource.
This was a disappointing read. We have been married for over 8 years and found little of the book to be devotional in nature nor useful in our marriage. A couple who has been married less time may find more benefit to it (married less that two years) but otherwise look to other resources.
I found this book very useful giving me insights that can be practiced for a better life. It is more effective if the couples read them together and make decisions.
