Interesting plot

Set in BC, Canada, which I found to be new and interesting. Well written, good characters. Looking forward to the next book.

I like that this story was set in Canada for the one "focus group" with the other guy heading there. This was less about the effects of an EMP and surviving it, than the stories of a homicidal arsonist and a family where the parents easily become killers, as well as not being very careful about their teenage son seeing them have sex. A really good book!

I enjoyed this book because it grabs you from the first words, and never lets you go. It also makes you think; what would I do in this instance? In fear of the fire

As a family fight to find each other. As one struggles with his demons of the past. How the cross paths and in a since save each other. Great read, great characters and storyline.

Good story

This story has many helpful survival tips and the characters are well developed. There is many descriptive sentences that could be pared down a bit. I would like to read more stories by this author.
