I moderately enjoyed this book. The editing was incomplete for the e-book—the end of one chapter was cut off and it would’ve relayed relevant information for later scenes! The author scrambled a lot of random romances together and humorously enough, none of the drama was resolved until one of the main characters was killed in battle. That seemed too simple a resolution, in my opinion, especially since the character had so much development and there was little reflection from the characters regarding his sudden death. I was surprised when the author portrayed some characters as devilishly cruel and then rapidly, with seemingly no reason at all, turned them into sympathetic characters. The change was too quick and came from nowhere to be attributed to thorough character development.
