Experts recommend that children start a foreign language as early as possible. With this book, a child can start learning Latin at age four. Latin is an excellent foreign language to select. Just ask any lawyer, doctor, scientist, or nurse. Aided by original artwork and an English translation, children learn the Latin words and Roman numerals for numbers 1-12 and 100. Introductory
Of the four introductory-level books in this series, I think I like this one the best. A simple book is often a delight to read, and this one was for me. The names for colors are used in different contexts, and the repetition helps with learning the words. I can’t decide if I want to color the pictures (which I would love to do) or leave them blank so other readers can imagine them.
