tw: derogatory slang toward women and asexuals (challenged)

I am really starting to enjoy supernatural stories. To be honest, I didnt think that I would. Sure, I enjoy Supernatural more than the average human but that is my only real love in the supernatural world. But thanks to Patricia Josephine, Ive come to enjoy the supernatural in the written world.

One of the best things about this book was the concept of consent. Keane, who is an incubus, was teaching another younger incubus the ropes about

The premise of this urban fantasy romance almost sounds like a joke. "An incubus and an asexual work together at a bar" But the relationship building for Keane (the incubus) and Quinn (the asexual human) really drew me in. The non-relationship plot about a power grab among the incubus community was also compelling. It was a fast and light read that had enough meat to it to keep me turning the pages.

If you enjoy urban fantasy and stories that explore unusual avenues, you'll love this one.
This story has so much potential - for me though, there were just too many editing and grammatical issues present - I found myself constantly being pulled me from the story
The characters - enjoyed the cast in this book - they were animated and so enchanting. A unique blend of "species" 🧚 each brought a strong presence sprinkled with some very creative little quirks
The storyline is smooth and flows well - lots of twists and "Oh No" moments that enchant the reader and keep them engaged
