This is the story of a brave young girl, Elodie-Rose, who one day decides to change the world and keep all her f*&ks in her basket.

Wait a minute. You re confused. What are f*&ks, you ask? It s quite simple, really. F*&ks are her self-esteem; all the happy, sad and wonderful thoughts that sit in her basket. That sit in every girl s basket! And every girl must give these f*&ks away every time someone asks.

One day Elodie-Rose decides to break rank and find out what happens if those f*&ks stay where they are...

Every little girl - and boy - needs this book. It is cheeky, funny, life-affirming, nurturing and soul soothing. It is also exquisitely visualised. Do a young teenager a favour and gift them this book

The final page of this book fills my heart with such joy! It's a great and empowering story for girls and women and possibly the first time I've ever seen a person of colour in a wheelchair in a picture book. A breath of fresh air.

3 stars because of how adorable the illustrations are. The story itself is all over the place, the language is super weird and sometimes it rimes, sometimes it doesn't which really messes up with the "voice inside by head that is reading the story". Could have been a great story with a great message but I guess the author didn't give a f*ck about making sure it made any sense and was enjoyable 😂
Still pretty tho so there's that.

A great little book very empowering and something I wish I had read as a child , mum would not have approved, but even as a teen it would have helped my life. Lovely illustrations although I did find the dark art difficult to see the words.

I enjoyed the inclusion of some historical points, we are the great granddaughtes/nieces of the witches you did not burn

Great book on empowerment, reminding us all to be judicious about where we spread our cares and not to give them away to the unworthy. Children's book style makes it approachable for people of all ages, but it's also a great gift for the mindful adults in your life!

Brilliant - the message is strong, and the diversity and real life women who appear in the illustration, and the excellent f**k varieties
