A delightful, quick read for the kiddies, with flowing prose that rhymes, which always seem to tickle me. Perhaps more so, than the kids themselves.

I enjoyed the story, with its more realistic theme of going to the beach, including the less fun mess it makes. I laughed a few times, and my children seemed to enjoy it.

The only downside is the clearly British English, which isn't a problem for me, but it might put other readers off, as it features some perhaps less common vocabulary (I'm not saying adults won't know what it means, but children might not).

Text to self

This book put memories in my head when my mom took me to Flordia for the first time. I was in heaven being near the ocean. Watching the water move back and forth as I wondered how can it do that? Then my mom took the time out to explain why the water does what it does and why the sun sets so beautifully at night and for my mom to talk about how amazing God was and what he does to make things look so beautifully was so awesome
