Cyrus and Dorian and a lot more...

Cyrus thinks he is cursed by the gifts he has... he is a wolf and a ice mage. He is cold frozen all over his body and is all alone for years, no pack will have him because of who and what he is.
Cyrus is chased and hiding because some alpha’s want this omega dead.

Dorian has dreams about a fated mate as white as snow. He can hear his wolfsong.
When they finally meet they both know they found their mate. Only it isn’t that simple.

A well thought out story with amazin

Dnf @ 26%. Maybe I’ll come back later. The writing was good but I wasn’t particularly liking one of the mc’s.
DNF 46%

I’m just not on the mood for mediocre omega smut today.

Spoilers ahead

I thought there were quite a few things off with this book.

At first Cyrus was made out to be this loner wolf that’s considered an abomination and a monster. He lives alone atop the mountain and yadda yadda yadda...

But then all of a sudden BOOM... Cyrus is actually this bad ass omega that goes into the city and get coffee and robs pharmacies, but it’s ok because he’s saving omegas everywhere, and he works with an alp
Even in a world where you have a male fated mate, evidently you must also have been previously married to a female for 18 years. I've seen some pretty outrageous motivations for gay-for-you plots, but having your child's death result in ending your 18 year heterosexual marriage so that you can suddenly find your male fated mate has got to be one of the most bizarre ones yet.

A Joyfully Jay review.

I was drawn to Frostbite from both the blurb and the lovely cover, but unfortunately this one ended up being a DNF for me due to editorial issues. Almost from the start, I was noticing editing errors and typos. Most of the time when I see these types of problems, they are minor enough that I am able to ignore them and focus on the story. However, in this case, there were just so many issues that they quickly became all I could see. By 10% into the book, I was more than

This is the author's first jump into the world of shifter ABO mpreg, as well as the first book I have read from him. Overall, I enjoyed the storytelling and romance, I felt there were a few inconsistencies or things that didn't work for me, and look forward to more.

Cyrus is an omega wolf shifter and an ice mage. Because of his unusual abilities, he has been shunned, hunted, and hurt people, and is living on his own trying to stay away from anyone he might harm. I thought that the blend of magic

Interesting Characters and Storyline. Good Read.

Wolf shifter and Mage, an interesting combination that made a fascinating story. I didn't want to put this book down. I want to read the next one now. I enjoyed all of the characters and want to read Tobias' and his mate's story.

It wasn't five stars because of sack of depth in parts of the story and a couple of retiring caught by editing. Still a very good book that I am happy to recommend.

This book is everything an MPreg should be.

This was the book I've been waiting for. It has everything that I love in an MPreg....fated mates, a close pack strong alphas, sweet omegas, adorable babies and a great story behind it all. This book was so good I didn't want to put it down. JM Wolf has created a wonderful world here. Cyrus was so cool (literally) and Dorian was a strong but loving alpha. I love when packs have multiple alphas and omegas. It gives the world such a broader landscape for

I really enjoyed this book.

This was a different take on Omega's, I enjoyed reading about one that was strong, stronger than most Alphas. Cyrus' story tore at my heartstrings. I hated all that he had to go through just because he was born different.

I really didn't mind the fact that Dorian had a wife and a child way before he met Cyrus, for one, Dorian was twice Cyrus' age, so of course he lived a life before he met Cyrus. It was tied up a little too neatly to allow for Dorian and Cyrus to be tog

*snorts* well JM for this being your first more you knocked it out of the park with your 'ass-babies' lol. I think Cyrus is my spirit animal. I have a few now. Funny as hell. But this really was a good story. Such a good plot. I love the way it was set up for the next one. good action and all. Now I'm ready for the next ones cuz I have a feeling I know who that hooded character is......

Not my cuppa. Disliked Cyrus - arrogant with a mean spiteful streak. His omega character was very Joyee Flynn-esque. Dorian was a passive wall flower. Writing had a YA vibe. DNF.

A/b/o existed with only shifters in this omegaverse. Alphas were a pretty nasty lot and their bad behavior was typically blamed on omegas. Pack bigotry was extremely harsh and horrific.

I would have used muzzle instead of snout for wolf anatomy.
Omegahole instead of Alphahole

The writing had plenty of minor errors (and the author’s bio and website mirror this), but since I tend to speed read and love me some omegaverse fluff, I’m usually pretty forgiving. However, given the overall high rating, I’m not hesitant about being totally forthright that this story is absolutely not-for-me because of the behavior of one of the protagonists which I find totally off-putting. (In cases like this, I feel I can share my true, very negative reaction j

Cyrus Winters is a half wolf shifter, half mage. At the age of 13, when his pack decided he needed to be executed, his mother protected him so he could escape and was killed in the process. This started Cyrus on the path of hating alphas. Over the years he alternately tried joining other packs, which they ended up turning on him and roaming free. He ends up alone in a cabin in the Witchita Mountains.

Dorian has been dreaming of and hearing the song of the wolf who can only be his mate. Drawn to the mountains that are nestled in his friend Tobias’ lands, he has no choice but to go. There is, though, the small matter of Frostbite, a semi-legend slash horror story about a white wolf who has been killing alpha wolves. But Cyrus has been defending himself, and Dorian is, in his eyes, another threat. When Dorian is unaffected my Cyrus’ magic, he knows that Dorian

Brilliant read, loved it🐺🎑💜💙

I received this book by the author and this is my honest opinion.
This is the authors first foray into the mpreg world and I got to say he's done a bang up job and is running right up there with the big well know authors from this genre. I absolutely loved this book, it was well written and automatically absorbed and hooked me right into Cyrus and Dorians world with its detailed world building. It had all the emotions for a well rounded read, humour, angst, love and an

This was my first dip into the writing of JM Wolf and also my first shifter/mpreg book and I have to say that I loved it. JM's style of writing is fluid and very easy to read. I wasn't sure what to expect with m/preg but it wasn't as bad as I thought and fitted into the story seamlessly.

When we first find out about Cyrus the ice omega shifter, it seems that he isn't a very nice person at all. Dorian keeps seeing him in his dreams and realises that Cyrus is his fated mate and sets off to find hi

I loved this story... Simple.

I liked that the Omega’s has a back bone and feisty. The Alpha’s were also diff that they didn’t always come to the rescue.....

When we start this book the lead M is in a dream state looking for his mate...we learn that he figures out where he is these reoccurring dream and moves to be close to his Omega.... We start to meet the rest of the pack and other secondary people in the book...

When the two main characters meet they are not on the same playing field strength

To my ratings (thanks to amazon I had to change it again and 'upgrade' it a little bit.):

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-
Away-book like 'Liberty' from Seth Kann ing,
'Save that he kids' series from EM Leya or
'Jesse's Smile' from Angelique Jurd), it's like
an A+

4* - very good and will be often reread and is a
WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises
(like most of Andrew Grey books) it's like an A

3,5* - a really good book, which w

A story easily enjoyed!

This is my first book by JM Wolf and it certainly won't be the last. I really enjoyed this book. The author's first attempt at mpreg was a well-earned success. It was a very unique take. Cyrus is a beautiful white wolf with the power of ice magic. His life was a struggle and left him lonely which came through his wolfsong. Alpha Dorian hears his song and knows the white wolf in his dreams is his mate. Their meeting is magnetic and that pull to each other creates immense pa

I am madly in love with this story!
JM Wolf does a brilliant job in this shifter M-preg.
His world is familiar enough with other stories of this sub-trope that I didn’t have to scramble around trying to piece it together and I was able to instantly engage with the story.
The characters are well written and relatable, I got a big kick out of Cyrus who really does seem like an Alpha in an Omega’s body. I liked that he had that little something extra. It made his character rare, precious and a touc

*WARNING* contains explicit adult m/m sexual situations and violence.
Cyrus has accepted that he is to live alone. A body isn't suppose to hold wolf and mage, so maybe Cyrus should give up. Cyrus knows everyones fears him, he knows he's a monster, so what does that want?
Dorian keeps having dreams that his fated mate lives on top of a snow covered mountain. After Dorian lost his son to cancer, believing in the dream gives him something to hope for, live for.

JM Wolf's writing style has a nice balance of rich imagery and quick pacing that lends itself well to a shifter book. There's plenty of drama, original world building, and heat. One of my favorite things about this book is how distinctive it was. It didn't feel like a standard shifter book. In some ways that was a problem. There were some comedic moments that didn't quite land. But overall, I appreciated the originality and unusual stylistic choices.

Going into this book I was concerned that the

I stumbled across this book and have never read from this author before but let me tell you that this story had me emotionally up and down, crying and cheering but also learning that our past doesn’t always have to hold us back.
Dorian has suffered a great loss, his son dying of cancer and then divorce because of the loss. He kept having dreams that kept leading him to a white wolf and hearing the matesong.

The headline says a lot, but does nothing to convey the depth of the story. With all three elements in this one story you would think it was too much, nope not at all. It read well and kept my attention for the morning /early afternoon. I truly enjoyed this book. Cyrus a shifter and mage existing in his own world, Dorian looking for his fated mate. Beautiful Story

I've been looking at this book for awhile and just decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did; this book was amazing and had everything you could want....action, just the right amount of drama and emotional angst, and great steamy passion. There were parts that made me smile and giggle, then softly cry from the touching words of love. The way that Cyrus finally opened up his heart and his emotions to Dorian showed his growth and immaturity. And the way Dorian just loved Cyrus is

If your looking for the normal shifter that's blase then stop, this is not your book. This book is intense, with amazing elements that will keep you on your toes. A combination of magic, sweetness, mayhem and downright fun, this book will make you want to re-read it time and again. Cyrus pulls you in, you feel for him and want to help him, squeeze him and love him... and maybe call him George (had to add that).
