Mitch opened The Fallen Nut as a safe haven for alphas and omegas to meet up. Keeping omegas safe was a priority for him and his brother Ike after their younger brother was killed ten years earlier. As one of the hottest bars in Oak Grove, The Fallen Nut was the pinnacle of success for local craft brewers.
Kaden didn't know much about brewing beer, but he committed to helping out his brother with his craft beer: Tapped. When Tapped was named as a finalist in the quarterly contest at The Fallen Nut to get keg space, Kaden was happy for his brother. At least until realizing Ike would be out of town for the event and Kaden would have to take charge of promoting Tapped and getting enough votes to win.
When Mitch saw Kaden, he had to have him. They had a quick encounter and both went their separate ways. But once wasn't enough for either of them. And when they're paths cross again, their connection is stronger than ever and undeniable.
Omega On Tap is a sexy and romantic romance with plenty of knotty heat, male pregnancy, a cute baby, and an HEA.
This was a cute, non-shifter, mpreg romance. It kept my attention so I could finish it, but it was a very simplistic story that tried to be complex.
And while this is not a fated-mates story, the author uses the idea of pheramones to explain an insta-attraction that felt weak. I never felt the attraction these men had for each other and none of the characters were fleshed out. It was an insta-love that didn't work.
This was okay. Nothing amazing was going on in terms of writing, plot, smut or characters, but it was a nice, easy read.
And then the second sex scene came (no pun intended), where Mitch declares, "I've never let anyone fuck me before, but I'd let you."
Bottoming being used as some ultimate sign of love in MM stories drives me up the wall. And as if that wasn't irksome enough, Mitch then muses: I didn't plan to bottom for him ever again so I wanted to make this time count. Then why bother at all, Mitch, if it's never going to be on the table again?
A adorable story of two characters meant for each other. It is a quick read. Kaden is a delight. Mitch is a wonderful Alpha, but I wanted more depth, more of his world. Still I loved the story and want to get to know Ike and his story. I am looking forward to read more of this series. This book is well written and edited. That always makes reading more enjoyable.
Cute story about an Alpha who meets an Omega and has to have him, they get together for fun, then keep coming back for more. Soon there is a baby and a HEA. Nothing new or ground breaking to see here but it was still and enjoyable read if you are looking for a quick, simple read. Mitch and Kaden needed to be fleshed out a little more for me to really become more engaged with what was happening between them.
To my ratings (thanks to amazon I had to change it again and 'upgrade' it a little bit.):
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow- Away-book like 'Liberty' from Seth King, 'Save the at he kids' series from EM Leya or 'Jesse's Smile' from Angelique Jurd), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times a year (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader, maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time- reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok). It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
Mpreg non shifter romance. Mitch and Justin own a bar that prides itself on protecting Omegas from violence and rape at the hands of Alphas. Their brother Michael was drugged and raped, dying from the trauma, and they have made protecting Omegas their number one priority. Ike, a master brewer, sends his Omega brother Kaden to represent their newest beer at the tasting contest at Mitch's bar. Mitch takes an instant lust for the nervous Omega behind the display of a chocolate infused beer. They have a quickie during the contest, and when his beer loses, Kaden runs off. The next day Mitch seeks him out to tell him his beer was the real winner and he would like to go out to lunch with him. Lunch leads to many steamy romps and so much more. Alpha Mitch is a force to be reckoned with.
there should be a trigger warning for off the page assault. you can't leave out trigger warnings for stiff like that! That said, Kaden and his alpha have an insta love type romance. There's a little steam and low angst aside from the mention of a family member being a victim of sexual assault. There's enough detail that I can't help but say it again: what were y'all thinking leaving off the trigger warning?!?!
I enjoyed Mitch and Kaden’s journey to find love. We have an insecure omega and a gentle Alpha with humor and hilarious voice mails. It’s a wonderful story!
I really enjoyed the drink names and think that should be in every bar or restaurant!
Justin and Mitch open a bar to help keep omegas safe after their younger brother, an omega, is drugged and raped at a bar. Michael unfortunately passes. Mitch is an alpha and meets Kaden, a shy, awkward, insecure omega who he's positively head over heels for. Their story is a fantastic read!
Mitch and Kaden are great characters that keep you interested in their story. It's short, sweet and sexy. Definitely recommend this book and can't wait for book two.
I love the whole Omegaverse concept. Karen, with all of his insecurities, was such a sweet Omega. And Mitch a loving, attentive, hot Alpha. I received this in a free give away, thank you, and will be looking for more in this series.
Me gustó la historia, los personajes y cómo se desarrolló. Quedaron cosas sin resolver como la parte de la droga, o las historias de los hermanos de ambos.
Tiene continuacion en otro libro, así que espero leerlo pronto.
I loved this story! The awkwardness of feeling attraction and then the risk to taking that step is terrifying! Thank you for sharing this story! I will read and reread!
This is a new author for me, but the book was pretty good! I did wish that Karen would have p!aged a little harder to get. He gave in a little too fast for me.
