I’ll get back what we once had. With or without my legs.
We went to the same school. People thought we were related since we were always together. But then we went camping, and it changed everything. She kissed me. I kissed her back. I knew we had feelings for each other. But she said it was a mistake. We grew apart after going to college. Now I’m stuck in this hospital bed. I was in a bad crash that cost me my legs and my fiancé. But she’s the doctor that’s treating me. I never stopped loving her. I know I’ll get her back. Even if it’s in a wheelchair.

He had a relationship that lasted 6 years and only ended because the fiancée cheated with his best friend. He cut the heroine of his life for 8 years and moved on without remembering her. I didn't like the story. I thought it was very weak and without depth. Even the ring of the proposal was the same one he used before with ex fiancée.

A second chance romance that will have you rooting for Ethan and Opal to get it together. Ethan and Opal have a long history together since they grew up together all during their childhood. But when a night of passion goes underway. It changes the outcome of their friendship for the worst. And with their different paths of work fields coming into play. Ethan says some things he may regret later on. But with all the crazy back in both their lives, it clashes together again. Eight years maybe a long time in the making, but will they be able to finally come to terms with what happened in their lives and take back what was once theirs together.
One More Chance is a sweet, sexy second chance romance. Ethan and Opal have been best friends nearly their whole lives. Their moms are best friends and they all live together. But, when things explode between the two and they give each other their v-cards, it just isn't right between them after. So they both leave for college on the agreement that they no longer have contact with each other until they can figure out how to fix things between them. 8 years later, Ethan lands in the hospital Opal works in and suddenly they have a second chance, but only if Ethan can get his head out of his ass and stop moping about and growling at Opal every time he opens his mouth.
I really liked Opal. She was a sweetheart - kind and always seeing the best in everyone around her. I had a much harder time with Ethan, though. He treated Opal pretty badly, and didn't ever grovel enough for my tastes. But, Opal's soft heart was no match for the man she'd loved her whole life, so he got a pass from me.

Awesome contemporary second chance romance. Opal and Ethan grew up together in the same house. Both their mom's were raising a child in their own and were best friends. This caused Ethan and Opal to share almost all of their youth together. Things suddenly changed for them towards graduation. They became sexually aware of one another. Unfortunately, going to separate colleges caused a rift in their relationship. They hadn't seen one another much over the next several years. Ethan was working hard and engaged. Opal was an intern and spent most of her life focused on the hospital. Then tragedy struck and it brought the two together. There was so much in between the once close friends. I enjoy the way this author draws you into the individuals lives as well as their accomplishments and sorrows. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Sinclaire.
***I voluntarily read this ARC to give an honest*** A great storyline. The main characters Ethan and Opal raised together by two friends, Olivia (Opal's mom) and Laura (Ethan's.) The dads no longer in the picture. They lived together and were joined at the hip. The kids did everything together. The surprise came during a game of "truth or dare" at camp before heading off to college. They were dared to kiss and it brought out their true feelings. That night they slept together and things changed, somehow. Ethan told Opal that they shouldn't try to keep in touch, breaking Opal's heart. She held it in, even when they later saw each other when Laura passed. Ethan now had a girlfriend, Claire. He and Claire moved in together and were due to get married until he caught her and his best friend Martin naked in their bedroom. He drove his car into a tree. He was taken to the hospital where Opal was an intern. Her mother was given as his next of kin. This was the start of the second chance.
This is the 3rd book in this awesome series and is Opal and Ethan’s story. Opal and Ethan have been best friends and inseparable forever, and when one night changes everything, they do not see each other again for 8 years. Now Ethan is fighting for his life and will probably never walk again, and Opal is a doctor in the same hospital. Ethan is determined that this time he will prove to Opal he has changed and will win her over. No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed! Once again Roxy had brought to us a story which is totally amazing, and I was hooked and captivated from the very beginning. I highly recommend this author’s work for all readers. Amazing as always Roxy! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book!
After growing up together as almost brother and sister, the sparks fly while camping right before both go off in different directions to college. These two virgins come together and have an amazing experience but afterwards, things get awkward. Fast forward 8 years, can a car accident bring the two back together? Roxy Sinclaire does a great job of writing the second chance stories. Whether by accident or stupidness, young attraction is broken and then years later, the couple comes back together to realize they do have feelings for each other. As the third in this One More Series, this book is a welcome addition to this genre and having an obstacle to overcome makes the Happily Ever After that much more satisfying.
Regrets. We all have them, and sometimes we're able to do something about them. Opal and Ethan found themselves in that position. They had been raised together even though they weren't related, and often felt like brother and sister until one fateful night. That night changed their whole dynamic. They didn't know how to act around one another any more, so they drifted apart. However, a freak accident gives them the second chance they so desperately need. And other friendships are able to be repaired as well. Ethan an Mitch come to terms with the betrayal they both faced at Claire's hand. And wow, she was a witch. There are Ethan and Opal who were raised together by two friends, Olivia (Opal's mom) and Laura (Ethan's mom). There is no dad in in the picture. These two were joined together throughout their lives. At camp before they went off to college, they play a game of truth or dare and end up kissing. Does this bring out their true feelings? Will sleeping together change their relationship? Later, Ethan has a girlfriend that ends up cheating on him. When he drives his car into a tree, will he survive? Will they get back together? Enjoy.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book Oh my, what an emotional, heartwarming, heartwrenching story. Ethan and Opal have known each other since they were born. Growing up together, playing together, first experience of love and sex and now the drama begins. Not being able to express themselves, they slowly drift apart, so sad. Different lifestyles, careers but when it matters the most, Opal is there for Ethan in a heartbeat. This is where I needed the tissues. This is not a doom and gloom story but one of a Forever friendship and a loyalty of great magnitude it is a joy to read. Loved it
📚I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader's copy of this book📚 Roxy Sinclaire has a way of taking a pretty common storyline, putting her twist on it, and making it a memorable, unique book. Ethan and Opal are well written compelling characters, who have made mistakes. Through a series of events, they grow apart but are thrown back together. The story is absorbing, fast moving, and these two characters have amazing chemistry. Third book in the series, but each is a stand alone with the common theme of second chances. Cant wait for book 4.
Another great read from Roxy Sinclaire and her One More Series! Opal and Ethan grew up as best friends with their moms just as close, until they take their friendship past the line and find things awkward after. Now that time has changed them both they will find themselves with another chance to get things right after Ethan is in an accident. Ethan and Opal are so perfect for each other and even though it takes them a while to fully realize that what they could have together is worth more than anything they could find. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Sweet easy to read romance story. Well written and the characters are well described. It is about Opal and Ethan that have been best friends for years and now meets again after 8 years. I like the story but I would have loved him to buy a new ring for the proposal not one that have already been used. Great chemistry. Nice twists. Emotional ups and downs.

One More Chance by Roxy Sinclaire is a powerful and emotional second chance romance. This book tells the story of Opal and Ethan. A well written and deeply engaging story of a love that grows from friendship, then is denied but never dies. Heartwarming and heart aching. A wonderful read that I highly recommend. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.
Beautiful second chance love story . Opal & Ethan were friends all their young lives, living as if they were siblings. But then college and the focus on their careers, plus misunderstandings caused them to drift apart for years. Their story was delightful and endearing. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Five stars.
Roxy Sinclaire's One More Chance is the third book in the One More series. A nicely written second chance romance with characters that were fated to have their paths aligned. I have enjoyed each book in this series and they stay true to the theme the author has created for the series. Opal and Ethan were wonderfully written and the story flowed well.
3 1/2* Opal & Ethan were as close as siblings both their parents were single mothers & shared an apartment to help each other. A dare while away with friends caused compilations for their friendship. Different colleges meant their lives didn’t cross much until 8 years later but is it to late? I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Another sweet story
This book had me heartbroken, then slowly put back together. Ethan and Opal seemed so happy and right for each other. Then it all fell apart, and stayed that way for 8 years. They run into each other through a tragic event and Opal realises that she never stopped loving Ethan. Can they overcome the heartbreak to be together???
Headline: I have voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC version of One More Chance by Roxy Sinclaire. Wow. This book was wonderful. The story breathtaking and so touching. In some ways, it was almost too perfect. But really, can an HEA really be too perfect, I think not. Well done Roxy, very well done. I would recommend this book to pretty much all romance readers. Happy reading!
I thought this was a great story! Opal and Ethan grew up together. When something happened and it broke them apart, they lived separate lives. When something happens and they meet again, what happens is a story I enjoyed. Their journey was special and I enjoyed every word of it.
This is a beautifully done novel of second chance love and the power of love to overcome adversity. Opal and Ethan have a wonderful chemistry and it’s strong enough to overcome theprofound impact of Ethan’s physical - and mental - injuries. This really is a great book and I highly recommend it.
Ethan and Opal truly belong together. This story was a quick read but truly enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the next book. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I enjoyed this short, emotional story. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Couldn't put it down. I voluntarily reviewed an advance readers copy of the book.
Amazing !! I completely fell in love with Opal and Ethan’s story. Such a powerful love story. I couldn’t put it down, I was so intrigued with them and their journey of lost love and new beginnings .
