ENOUGH is a poignant blueprint for passionate entrepreneurs tired of feeling like they’re running the wrong way on a moving walkway. Have you ever felt the grip of life bringing you down, leaving you stuck, frustrated, and on the verge of giving up? If you said No, you’re not telling the truth. And if you said Yes, you’re exactly where you need to be. In this honest, entertaining guide to getting from When I Am to I Am, bestselling author and book coach Elizabeth Lyons delivers insights on and solutions for 20 concepts to which nearly every entrepreneur has said (or is ready to say), “Enough!” This book will help you: • Identify what your own enough truly looks like (and show you how to confidently own it) • Eliminate distractions and bad habits in order to create a solid, intentional execution plan toward your ideal lifestyle • Finally call a truce with your inner critic so you can fully accept your unique story, approach, and potential to impact others By the end, you’ll have a new perspective on and approach toward your what, why, and how (as well as the critical fourth component--surrender) in order to reach the incredible life you’ve been breathlessly running toward all along.
Elizabeth Lyons is many things: mom, friend, writing and publishing coach, lunch maker, chauffeur, hostage negotiator, author, on-call plumber, tile layer, guitar student, window washer, designer, and on and on.
She demands the right to do things her way -- a way that often defies even the most creative imaginations--and she strives to inspire others to do things THEIR way (once they figure out what their way is!).
Elizabeth lives in Arizona with her five kids, crazy dog, four barely surviving organic gardens and whatever (or whomever) has taken up residence with them since her latest manuscript went to print.
ENOUGH is like having a hilarious, bottom line, this-is-what's-going-on conversation with your blunt best friend. Lyons is funny. She's smart. She'll call you out on all of your sh*t (while admitting all of her own). Reading ENOUGH, I laughed, I cringed (yup, guilty of that... that too...) and I learned a ton about the entrepreneurial process and about myself. I have a feeling this is one of those books I'll re-read every year to remind me of what I want and where I'm going.
loved this book! This was exactly what I needed to keep me going. I'm a writer, so not the 'typical' when you think of entrepreneur, but it kept me going in this long process of writing and publishing and marketing! It's a definite read for anyone questioning if they are enough!
