Whoever had this book before me really loved to write their thoughts in the margins. So that was entertaining!

Straight forward, mainstream inerrantist evangelical hermeneutics guide. Good as far as it goes but doesn't deal with the differing genres and literary devices in any great depth. This is a bachelor college level intro. and ought to be supplimented with authors more sensative to nuance, typology and letting the Scriptures provide a pattern for how to interpret themselves.
