With the use of an expedition metaphor, it shows the key elements achieving a strategic timing, breaking patterns, understanding customers, creating a culture for innovation, and implementing innovation projects successfully. It’s a wonderfully designed book to inspire yourself or to buy as a gift for other people. The 101 lessons in this book make you dream, think and act like a successful innovator.
I love the previous book from Gijs, and I quite liked this new one as well. It is written in a way that allows you to read it page by page, good for commuting, digesting learnings and short attention span like mine. I wish all case studies were separate at the end, distribution felt a bit random.
I read this book in Dutch for Managementboek.nl (Dutch review). This is not a book you'll read from page 1 to the end. You'll browse it, read a bit, get inspired by the many different stories that Gijs van Wulfen collected.
