Christmas is just around the corner and Lance has brought Marcy a new case for her and the Senior Sleuths. They will be investigating the murder of Theresa Lopez. Ten years ago, Theresa was robbed and murdered in her home and the case was never solved. Theresa had worked as a maid at a small hotel. Just before her murder, she had promised to take her daughter to get a used car. She had $2700 to buy the car, but nobody knew where she got it.

While working on the case, Marcy is also planning a surp

For their second cold case adventure, the Way Over the Hill Gang investigates the 10-year-old murder of single mother Theresa Lopez, a motel maid who was brutally murdered in her living room. The only clue the file contains is that Theresa and her daughter, Eleanor, were planning to buy a used car for the teen that day.

As they work as a team to solve the case, individual members cope with their own issues. Gus struggles with his distance from his son and grandchildren, while Jake grapples with t

Once again the "Way Over the Hill Gang" has gathered to work on solving another cold case with police detective Marcy, who after taking a bullet in the leg while on duty, was placed in the same assisted living facility as the other friends. In their previous case (Late for Dinner) they worked well together and managed to solve a cold case the police had shelved many years ago. Encouraged by this success, Marcy and her former partner decided to give them another crime to try and solve. This time ...more

The Senior Sleuths are at it again. Nothing dull in this nursing home as the gang continues to solve a cold case. The characters in this book are hilarious and they are definitely not ready to spend every day playing bingo and being bored. Each member of the gang has lead an interesting and complicated life which brings a wealth of knowledge to their sleuthing adventures. Mandy, a detective who is healing from injuries she suffered on the job; is the one resident of the nursing home who has actu ...more

Things heat up even though it's coming up to Christmas.

A great read. Okay forget the mystery part as it's really overshadowed by the lives of our hurt police officer and her band of silver sleuths. We get more of an insight into what makes them tick, their hopes and dreams and in one case we even see a romance unfurl. Their banter, antics and general mayhem is a delight whilst he glimpse of their past, present and future are riveting.
The mystery is a case of a low paid single mother who was br

As with any book written by this author, I enjoyed it immensely. Marcy and the members of the Senior Sleuths were working on a coldcase murder. To hide their sleuthing activities the group were also working on the Christmas concert and had to work up singing and dancing routines.

Theresa, the murdered woman was murdered in her own home and no one could find the money she had to buy her daughter a car. Theresa worked at a motel as a maid and it was thought that one of the guests may have given he

Late for Bingo by M. K. Scott will have you laughing out loud at some of the antics of the Senior Sleuths as they try to solve a cold case murder. Living in a nursing home, Gus, Lola, Herman, Jake, Marcy and Eunice are somehow successful in solving an old murder case and also planning and executing a wonderful Christmas show for the other residents of the nursing home.

This is a humorous cozy mystery that will keep you turning pages and smiling at the antics of the characters. I loved the intera

Residents played bingo five days a week for something to do at the center.
There is a meeting of the garden club. Police Detective Marcy took a shot in the leg and was here recuperating. Marcy has a cold case her partner brought in. A widowed mother saving for a car for her daughter, killed and robbed, ten years again. Seemed personal when she was stabbed twelve times, not just robbery. This group is tenacious giving them something to think about and do.They may blurt out something they shouldn’t

Senior citizens may seem feeble--but sometimes it is an act! (Just ask me about my 98 year old Mom!) They really always manage to do what they want by hook or by crook.

The seniors in this retirement home love to get involved solving murder mysteries. Of course they have to be really sneaky so as not to be caught by the administration. That is no problem for this group!

You will definitely find yourself laughing at how they out maneuver the admin and sometimes each other to get the job done! They

Late for bingo.

Late for bingo is a book about a police detective that is having physical therapy in a nursing home and solves cold cases with the help of older residents. It has lively characters that you can't help but love. It will have you guessing until the very end. I highly recommend this book and author.

In Late for Bingo "The Way Over The Hill Gang" once again is helping Marcy solve a cold case. I love these seniors and their approach to life. You can only play so many games of Bingo! These folks have many talents from their younger lives that aid them in solving these old cases. This is another fun romp as Marcy proves once again that she is still a detective. ...more

I love this series featuring senior citizens. This time Marcy and the gang have a decade-old murder to solve and a Christmas program to plan. I’m looking forward to the next book! I was given this book free and chose to make a voluntary, unbiased review.

Brilliant ❣️ as ever ❣️ As a septuagenarian, the ONLY way I would ever even consider living in a Seniors Home would be if I was a member of a Golden Sleuths gang 😏 Thank you ❣️
