In many ways, bears seem to be much like us.They can stand upright. They can be curious, playful,or angry. They are intelligent animals that can comunicate with one another.mothers bears even spank their cubs. The black bears use their claws mostly to climbing trees. The history of bears and humans has not been a good one. Many people have seen bears their enemies.Humans have hunted many bear species almost to extinction. I like the book because it talk about how bears produce and how they hunted.

Read it to see if I could include it in my "explorations" lit circles..... Very entertaining and informative about bear attacks and what to do if you ever find yourself in that situation. My kids will love it.
