You get an easy to understand version, with extra helpings of study material. I think this would be excellent for a faith based leader or someone looking to advance in being a better person in the eyes of God. The author has a way of placing in principles that will allow the reader to deep think and come out with a more positive view.

There are hundreds of leadership notes, principles and stories documented throughout this bible. I absolutely love it.

Again I LOVE John Maxwell’s bibles, I had the pleasure of reviewing the NKJV and I am not a big fan of NKJV so when I saw this one, an NIV I had to snag it! I would like to let you know this is not a study bible, this is a leadership Bible, two different things. My favorite parts of this Bible are the notes from John, and all the added notes he felt you should have. The lettering is perfect , not to small, not to big, and this bible is not to big like the study bibles are.

There are Leader Highlights added through that are nice, table of weight and measures, Leadership laws,Leadership Qualities, Leadership Issues, Profile In Leadership, Winning With People, 25 ways to win with people, Talent is never enough, The 360 Degree Leader,High road leadership,Six strategies for Extraordinary Leadership, Shake Salk and Shine Light,The Difference Maker,Ethics 101, Thinking for a change, Leadership Lesson from the Nativity,Today Matters, Spiritual Growth Rule of 5,Three laws of growth, Live like someone valued by god,Working Alongside a miracle-working god, and Learning to listen to god.

All those are at the end of this bible, I LOVED reading all those, even though I am not a leader at church, I truly love this bible, I am one who does not comprehend what they read so they read it over and over and This bible I could read and highlight and add sticky notes to and I will use this bible to it’s full potential. So do I recommend this bible YES I DO, Amazon has different formats, you can get hard back for roughly 32.00, Kindle load for 15.00, and there are used !

The Maxwell Leadership Bible is all about encouraging you to be a better leader by infusing you with Biblically based principles on the subject of leadership.

And who better to learn leadership from than John Maxwell himself?

This Bible is filled with so many helpful articles and sidenotes throughout that it’s almost overwhelming to know where to start- which is a good thing!

Throughout the text is a profile in leadership which highlights a notable leader in the Bible, detailing more for us the reader, a layout at the beginning of each book of the Bible outlining key leadership principles for that particular book, and other key leadership principles throughout the text like the “partnerships allow leaders to achieve far more” as pictured below.

Overall, the Maxwell Leadership Bible had more features than I expected. I think this would make a wonderful study Bible if you are interested in leadership principles as well as a great gift to give a loved one.

In particular, I think this is a great Bible for a wife to give to her husband to encourage his leadership potential. With that said, my husband is the main one out of the two of us who is using this Bible, and so far, he has found it to be resourceful.

This lovely Bible has detailed "side boxes" through out that help to explain and provide thought provoking questions about each chapter.
