In Symptomatic to Systemic, Steven Ricchiuto builds upon deep research so that he can show us how to identify the bank failures associated with each downturn in the baking industry and how they have played in teach of the postwar business cycles. Financial dislocations and debacles have undergone a distressing evolution. Dislocations are no longer the result of a contraction in the economy, but seemingly systemic causes of recessions.
Ricchiuto's book helps readers identify the risk of future recessions by showing them how to read financial data that may show the underlying health of key markets. Symptomatic to Systemic provides clues as to where the next contraction may surface. so that readers won't be caught unaware.
I love Steve's work and still look forward to any of his presentations but this book was serious let down. Could easily be reduced to 20 pages or so. Highly repetitive.
Very repetitive. Could've been a long article. Some good information, nonetheless. But extremely repetitive in a sense that certain sections were copy and pasted from earlier in the book.
