BEWARE of SPOILER

Lu Yaoyao was 27 years old when she realized the man she loved was in a relationship with her own half-sister. The outcome of that was her childhood friend, Qin Zhi, was prisoned. On the verge of death, Yaoyao wish for a second chance. Returning to her 20 years old self, Yaoyao vowed to change the outcome of her life.

What I love about this story was that, Yaoyao never once thought of revenge. She only wanted to give Qin Zhi and herself, a chance that they missed in the previous life. Even though technically, she was a 27 years old lady stuck inside a 20 years old, Yaoyao decided to act her young self again. She wanted to once again pursue the carefree life she missed out on because she once spent that time pursuing a man instead. A man that at the end of that life, betrayed her.

The story was honestly, a bit childish. And because I read the translation version, I had no place to comment about the writing style. But, I'm glad I gave this a second try after dropping it the first time.

However, very few men, after discovering that the woman he loved was a cruel, vicious woman, would continue to choose to love her. If you run into such a man, please use all your strength to treasure him.’

I especially love the last chapter, a male lead’s pov about the story. I’m soo glad that Yao Yao strived to treasure him as he deserved it very much.

No ha estado mal, pero no es de mis favoritas. La pareja principal... No ha sido mala pero tampoco tenían gran química.
La historia ha sido plana incluso cuando el fondo no es del todo cliché y era interesante la autora no ha sabido sacarle partido a eso. La terminé por no tener tantos capítulos.
Los personajes no estaban mal pero meh, no me convencieron del todo.
Diría que está novela me pareció tibia, del tipo que olvidas rápido.

I read it because the title sounded interesting– how can the protagonist be "vicious"? But then realised that this was a rebirth story... Still, the fact that the FL chose not to be concerned about taking revenge after rebirth but instead chose to change her way of looking at things didn't really show a "vicious" side of her to me. Sure, it made the whole book to have more wholesome moments, but at the same time, I was bored, haha. So, I'm glad that it was short. I guess I'm also not a big fan of childhood lovers kind of a plot, now that I've given this novel a read.

This was a pretty quick read. The romance was nice, some good life lessons were thrown in, and the style leaned more towards “living well is the best revenge”. Decently translated, funny, cute, and overall satisfying. I liked that YY helped Lin Fei. I loved YY’s friend and her mom. The ML was great. 3.5 stars. Check it out!

A light, cute story that had a fair amount of mindless face slapping. I'm not actually sure why I'm supposed to be rooting for the female lead over the sister, the sister seemed to have very reasonable fears. The author seemed to start out writing the sister and father in a balanced light, realize that made it hard for the reader to full heartedly root for the female lead, and so forcibly made them less reasonable towards the end. There were a fair amount of time skips and some of the chapters started a bit randomly, but overall, the story was fluffy, easy read.

I liked the idea and I liked the beginning but about halfway through I was just bored. The main lead isn't really vicious at all, just really spoiled by all the people around her. The childhood friend?ML basically has no personality and is just there to indulge the caprices of the female lead.

Summary: FL has accidentally killed her pregnant half-sister who was cheating with her fiance. FL's childhood friend took the blame and in jail told her he loved her. FL dies in a car accident and goes back 7 years and immediately lets go of the fiance and wants to start dating the childhood friend.

Ridiculous but hilarious. I mostly enjoyed reading about "the evil other woman" getting a do over and going after a guy who actually wants her.



Safe mostly... FL had a gruesome ending in her first life. Also, she was obviously in love with someone else (who she didn't ever get to be with) in her first life.
