OMG I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I was severly pleasantly surprised that I would love it as much as I do!!!

I just finished this book but can say easily that I could read it again and again. I just loved how this book made me feel!!!

This book hit the spot for me, especially after reading 2 dark-ish/heartbreaking/emotional reads!!! The characters were likeable, so, so likeable and relatable and funny!!! Sweet & subborn Bunny Brooklyn Valentine - is it weird that she is my hero?!?! I absolutely adore he

What a great little read. Two neighbors brought into each others lives by an accident. Two neighbors who fight their attraction. I thought it was very well written and moved along at a great pace, I wasn't bored and never once did I want to put it down, not even to sleep. I stayed up until I finished it. There was stubbornness and drama, happiness and tears, anger and forgiveness. And of course a happy ending. I really enjoyed it!

I really liked this book. I did feel like things moved a little too quickly. There were a couple of comments made that made me fear there would be inappropriate things but I'm glad there weren't!

This was an amazing, emotional, tear-inducing romance. And it definitely lives up to the series title.

Brooke and Travis are definitely complete opposites of each other--she's chaotic and he's orderly; she's almost always in a hurry and he's totally mellow; she's so self-conscious and he's so confident--that I wondered, from the very beginning, how they could possibly fall for each other.

And, yet, they did.

This book is simply overflowing with emotions. Brooke's inability to see how beautiful she

This is the first novel that I've read by Lisa Crane...and I LOVED it! Brooke and Travis' dynamic kept me wanting more this entire novel, and by the end, it did NOT disappoint. The last few chapters were especially wonderful. I will admit that I sometimes got frustrated with Brooke letting herself get in the way of what could be a nice relationship, but I was equally frustrated that Travis couldn't step up and see what was right in front of him. All is well that ends well though, and I really lo ...more

Brooke Valentine is so not Travis Cooper's type. He is disciplined (used to be in the Army), organized, drives a Hummer, and owns his own prosperous security company. Brooke's life is chaos, and is thrown into greater chaos right after they meet and she is in a motorcycle accident (which he feels responsible for). While she is in the hospital she loses both of her crummy jobs, has to drop out of school because of all the classes and tests she has missed, has her electricity turned off, and the l ...more

Was a little surprised by this book. I got into the story line easily, and was in the mood for a good romance. I liked the characters, and Jazz was my favorite secondary. The only thing that made it a little unbelievable for me, and resulted in 4 instead of 5 stars was the 'quick' recovery the heroine had from major surgery where she almost lost her life. Bleeding through bandages, limping, and some pain were minimally mentioned, and she was back at work, standing on her feet all day within days ...more

This wonderful book had me hooked from the beginning. Reading about Bunny (great name) and Travis fighting their attraction for each other reminds me of my own life. Its a very clean, touching story that brought tears to my eyes at the end.
I'm looking forward to learning about Nick's mysterious character in the next book and going back to read Jazz and Rileys story. I love books that are connected but can stand alone.

OK, it was a bit sappy, a bit predictable, and a bit on the corny side, but I loved every minute of it! I laughed - out loud - and even got a little teary-eyed in places. As I read the last sentence, I had a goofy smile on my face and let out a little sigh of satisfied pleasure. This kind of book is why I started reading romance, in the first place. A truly perfect read, especially for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Ok. Soo I really wasn't expecting much when I started this cute fun charming book. But, I was pleasantly surprised!!! The characters were lovable, the incidents made me feel all the things you want to feel for your characters. A home run!!! Can't wait to read about one of Travis' friends next in Not her type!!! Such a refreshing read and series!!! Thanks!!!

For a hopeless romantic, this thing was a wild ride from start to finish. Well written and the humor in it was greatness. You'll care for some characters and hate the ones you're supposed to hate. That is all.

This is just what I needed. This was a cute romantic story. Travis was sweet and caring. Felt bad for all heartache that Brooke went through and glad she got the dream in the end.

Sweet with a touch of tears

Sweet romantic story that will take your heart on an emotional roller coaster. She's had to grow up fast but has retained her innocence. He's seen too much but has yet to figure out what he really wants where love is concerned. Word of advice? Read this one when you can laugh out loud but keep a box of tissues nearby.

Wonderful Read

This was one of the cutest stories I’ve read in a long time. So sweet and full of feel good romance.
Had to finish this in one day!

A really sweet, romance with two very likeable leads.I'm really getting burnt out on reading romances because they are all such tales of woe and ANGST,and I thought this was beginning to look the same with the heroine insecure about her physical appeal, and the hero refusing to admit to himself his attraction to her.

However, this author was able to keep me from getting too annoyed with them,so I never came close to the stopping point of reading this book. I loved both

This could have been a good story but it is in severe need of an editor.

* Exclamation points used way to often. It was just ridiculous.
“Travis, I wish you’d stop this!” Brooke said suddenly. She appeared uncomfortable. “I can take care of myself! I’ve been doing it for a long time!”

One would think Brooke was mad and yelling when she said the aforementioned but, no, she wasn't! This is just how she speaks! And so does Travis! Which, makes him sound like a drama queen! Hell! Everyone in the boo

The name and cover are definately very descriptive of this book story.

Brooke Valentine is a sweet, shy, independent girl whose life never been easy. Travis Cooper is a confident guy, yes, hot and handsome too, who has a great life, was in the military and now has his own security business.

When Brooke has an accident, he feels responsible and try to help the little girl next door, but as people start to question his intentions to help her, he keeps saying she's like a little sitdster to hi

Lol. Amazing story!

This is a great book by Lisa Crane. It is about Brooke who lived with her grandfather after her mother dropped her off and said "let your dad pay the bills for a while", however her dad was not there, he moved away and was married to another. She never knew her dad. When her grandfather died she had to sell some of the land to pay expenses. She went to school and worked two jobs. Her new neighbour was building a house next door and a nail caused her to have a flat tire so she

Bunny Brooklyn feels like she's not good enough for the nice, handsome gentleman who's just moved in next door. The feelings are very real, as he pays for her hospital bills because of an accident caused by construction on his home. It's easy for her to ignore the attraction she feels towards her neighbor because no one has ever helped her in life, making her feel like a charity case. Bunny's independence is easily relatable. Travis is a confident, successful, persistent man who just believed he ...more

This book was quite good, and the characters were particularly likeable.

It flowed with a nice rhythm, and although time passed in the novel, it felt like it was moving at just the right pace.

Bunny was a troubled character, and I liked that she had a backstory to her, and why she was the way she was.

Travis was nice, there were a few things I didn't like - mainly the blonde.

I also liked how the author showed several POVs. I thought this had the potential to ruin the book, but it actually added to

Chivalry is not least, not in this story!

Travis Cooper is not only a hunk, but he shows a sense of responsibility rarely seen, today. All of the characters in this story were well developed. I loved Travis, Brooke, everyone...except Lorna. What a piece of work! Loved the book. I have to admit, the name Allison Cooper had me laughing. I will state one word of caution for any of you who like me, are colossal wimps when it comes to medical issues. Read the ER scene QUICKLY. I'm such a wim

This was such a sweet enjoyable book. I loved how strong and independent Brook was throughout the book. It also broke my heart a bit at how cruel her mother was to her, her whole life. Brook had such bad self esteem and low opinion of herself, when in actuality she just didn't know how truly awesome she actually was. All she needed was some good friends and a really gorgeous and caring neighbor. Travis moved in and was building a house on land that Brook sold him. She had a motorcycle accident o ...more

Brooke Valentine has had a tough life, abandoned by both parents and raised by her grandfather. She works 2 jobs and goes to school and doesn't think much of herself.
Travis Cooper is Brooke's new neighbor and tries to help take care of her like a sister. But then he kisses her and tries to hold back his feelings. Brooke can't let go of her worthlessness, Travis seems to think his type is not her. I love the little things he does for her especially the ending.

I feel the need to change my review now that I have been informed that this is a Christian romance which I did not realize when I first read it.

Now knowing the genre I feel that was a very well written book that shows that even in today's world we can still have morals and values which is not always taught. I have the next book in the series and I plan to read it to see how the author continues to show morals are important.

I did laugh quote a few times which made it enjoyable to read.

it was OK, I liked the characters but, some of the story line is just too far into the make believe land for me. not that I don't mind a good fantasy but, it was more like too fast, too jarring the scenes. the Characters are good but, just not all there they way you would want them to be if your into details. I did buy the second book that follows this one to see, you know if it was just a first book and that could have been it too but, that one is very similar style to this one.

I borrowed this for free on my Kindle and blitzed through it in one long and wonderful reading day! I would gladly have paid for it and felt like I got a great deal! It's a wonderful story - super clean (well, I think it's PG13 because of the descriptive kissing) and I adored the H and h. I am going to read another of Lisa J. Crane's books. I am impressed with the moral integrity of these characters. Great book.
