Summary book on hindu mythology

The book is very simple in language and with words..i choose a 3 star for it since i knew lot of things about the hindu mythology but got to know some new things as well like the symbols that we use the meaning behind them.

If you are totally knew in hindu mythology then the book is a really good start but for someone who knws much it would feel like a repition of told stories.

I would recommend this books to people who wants to know about hindu mythology and know

Overall a great book. Rama vs krishna

Credit must be given to the author for such lucid comparisons between Rama vs Krishna. I loved the part where it says to follow the Ramayana on the basis of rules that were followed. Devdutt pattanaik is a master in mythological folklore. He gives you a profound experience of our Hindu deities. Great

Really liked the comparisons made between the two worlds/eras Lord Rama and Lord Krishna belonged to. And how dharma took it's turn with changing times and needs.
