Silas meets gorgeous, grumpy-looking Oscar at a bar. He’s never had sex with a guy, and what better place is there to find someone to pop that particular cherry?
He knows what he’s getting with the broad-shouldered, I-can-pummel-you-with-one-look Oscar: getting bent over a hard surface and satisfied until he’s blaspheming. Turns out, though, there’s a lot more to Oscar tha

If I were to rate this for erotic content only, I'd go with 4 stars. This story is 80 percent sex (D/s overtones, rough play, orgasm denial), and the sex is scorching hot.

The MCs are one dimensional, and the relationship happens in a vacuum. All the men do is hang out at Oscar's flat and screw each other's brains out. They never go anywhere or talk to anyone. There is a scene in a bar at the beginning when Oscar and Silas meet and another scene where Oscar's sister shows up unexpectedly, but tha

Whoa. Can I say HOT?

I was not prepared for this. There was so much raw emotion and I am not sure that I've ever read a book that gave me this many feels in such a short story.

Silas meets Oscar at a bar and they immediately fancy each other. Silas has never been with a man and has basically spent all of college in a long distance relationship, so doesn't have a ton of experience in the romance department.

When an epic night turns into a weekly affair, things start heating up and Silas a

This was an interesting delve into the beginning of a d/s kink that I found hawt and compelling. In a departure from most of her books this one does not rely strongly on any mental health issues but does briefly touch on d/s shame and overcoming it.

Frankly, this book was great but I felt like it was so short we didn't really get to see how much these guys could become. I wanted more.

but the sex scenes were really well done!

PS: Amazon never fixed this problem so the book was provided generously
Suspect this started out as Teen Wolf fanfic—the golden eyed, taciturn Oscar is Derek, and motormouth Silas is Stiles, no?—but am not well-versed enough in the show to say for sure. Between the title, the way the characters were written as though I was already supposed to know who they were, and how the sex scenes/BDSM elements were handled, though, I got a really strong fanfiction vibe here. That's not a slam, mind you. This is a PWP of two dudes hooking up and fumbling their way into light D/s ...more

Porn without plot. Would've gladly traded one or two sex scenes for some character development. What little conflict there is takes place in the last chapter, is utterly manufactured, and resolved within a couple of pages. Oscar, whose POV we don't get to read, is so superficially defined that he comes across as little more than a submissive sex doll.

Also think this might be Teen Wolf fanfic, not that there's anything wrong with that, and way more work needs to be put in when writing original c

This is a good story but I feel like we don't get to know the characters at all therefore it makes it hard to get invested in them enough to believe in the love story. SPECTACULAR SEX THOUGH!

A bit of everything

I'm not sure I can express everything I want to say about this book. I've rea reviews that there is no character development but I disagree. It's subtle and often displayed in their sexual relationship but you get to know Silas and Oscar. Silas is an incredible character...self-deprecating but confidant, assertive but so caring, funny as all get out but soft and serious when needed. Salad had some of the most humorous lines I've ever read.
Now addressing the sex...holy hotness

Although there is a romance of sorts between Silas; who has never been with a man and after a few minutes at a club one night, decides to go home with him and have sex, and Oscar; the strong, silent type, there isn't what I consider a plot. The men meet for what Silas considers will be a one night stand. But that one night turns into another, and another, all exploring Silas's sexuality. The sex is hot and Oscar is up for anything that Silas wants to try, but night after night together, you star ...more

Silas has never been with a man, then he met Oscar. For some reason he decided that he wanted Oscar. This is the basic story. Not a lot of plot. We don’t really learn much about the men except that they are hot as hell together.

The relationship develops from one day a week, to almost every day. With both men finding more reasons to be together. Silas very quickly becomes the driving force between them. What started out as fun quickly turn into a Dom/sub type of partnership.

Not a really strong st

I've Been Careless With A Delicate Thing is a hot and steamy novella by Marina Vivancos.

What starts as a hot one night stand leads to so much more for Oscar and Silas. The story is quick, full of some hot sex scenes and has a decent basic plot. We don't get in depth with the characters, but we get enough to make this erotic story worth the quick read.

This story contains first time gay sex and some fun BDSM scenes. It's good, but know going in that you aren't reading it for a long, detailed plot

This book was what I needed when I read it.

Amusing, sexy, and with a little sweetness thrown in at times.

Silas was great, a real chatterbox and I loved that. He seemed to come into the whole “Dom” role really quick which I was a bit eh with but the sexy times were great and really attention-grabbing.

Oscar was really meh to me, very stony and hard to read so I wasn’t sure how to connect with him but the more I read the better he became.

This was another New to Me Author and I have to say I rea

A Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words Review An Alisa Review:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this story. Silas has never gotten the chance to explore his attraction to men and now newly single from a long relationship he is eager for the chance. Oscar is quiet man and very reserved but will Silas be able to break through his shell.

I love how Silas and Oscar pretty much start a relationship together though they don’t talk about that aspect. Silas makes sure they talk about what they want

When Marina was a child she couldn’t sleep. Night after dissolving night she just couldn’t sleep. Nothing much worked – until she started making up stories in her head. Suddenly, the transition into unconsciousness was a smooth dive into calm waters.

Marina is currently in a period of sleepless upheaval, and she hopes writing down the stories in her head will cast the same spell it did years ago.
