*****REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS*****

Heroes or heroines who have a child with someone else is not a theme that I typically want to read, but as I won this book for free, I thought I’d take a peek to see if it interested me at all.

However, now I know why I avoid them…. Ethan & Chrissy are 16 and have been dating for 6 months. When story opens, she has told Hero that she is pregnant after they had just had sex. Hero proposes but she tells him she doesn’t want to be a mother. She had planned to abort

Chasing and keeping Honor😍

Ethan left us at the end of Saving Meadow with a nice little bombshell....he was sixteen and soon to be a single dad😳 Fast forward eight years and him and Carson are doing well but he’s refused to move on with his life and find a woman to share his and Carson’s life with.

That is until Honor graces his door asking to rent a room in his house🤩 However, as they adjust to life with each other, both their pasts come crashing in. Will they survive their pasts or will it all

I am just loving this series. This is the second book and is just as good if not better than the first one. I just loved Ethan and loved that even at sixteen he stepped up and not only embraced being a dad but put his daughter first and still made something of himself he is an all-around good guy, Honor has had a tough time she lost her mum and did not get on with her stepdad so she leaves with very little and starts fresh, she rents a room from Ethan and it is not long before the sparks start t ...more

3.5 ⭐️

Taking 1.5 bc Ethan ticked me off and the editing was lacking.

I loved Honor and Carson in this book, as well as the family’s involvement. I liked Ethan for some parts, when he actually acted like a man in love and the way he was with Carson... but I REALLY hated how he was such a fucking dick about his baby momma. He held such anger and resentment, and it was so unnecessary. HE made her the OW bc he couldn’t get over her leaving them, and he couldn’t understand why, so that made him doubt

Charming love story with some pivotal suspense! Another winner from Riley Edwards!

This my fourth Riley Edwards novel! All excellent stories about the Sulivan clan (seems to large to be a family)!this multigenerational and extended family is one we all wish we had for support and backup when needed!
What appealed to me was first single dad Ethan was the perfect parent to precocious 8 year old Carson! Which is sexy by itself, but he is handsome, sexy and a great cop (protector). Honor is the beauti

The Next Generation series is fantastic! I have read all 4 books, out of order and enjoyed them all so much. I would recommend to other readers to read them in order even though each book truly stands alone. Ethan is a young single father. He and his girlfriend got pregnant in high school (which is before this story takes place). His girlfriend didn't want to get married or raise the baby together so Ethan decides to be a single parent with his parents help rather than give his baby up for adopt ...more

Words can not capture the feeling this story brings to your soul! Suspense, betrayal, life & death & love to give your life for - priceless!

Ethan a good cop serving his town, what's not to love about that. Well that makes in comparison to the facts a single dad with an eight year old daughter and he only 24. Amazingly he conceived a child n at 16 years old man up and she gave all parental rights up n walked away. Ethan didn't date of bring any woman home he only had his daughter to focus on. Hon

Way to make a girl cry Riley...I was doing so good until the freaking end....just Thanks.

Chasing Honor was everything and then some. I truly love The Next Generation and seeing what fine men and women the guys and gals from the 707 series have raised. Ethan is the type of man everyone woman should strive to find. He is responsible, has virtue, is loyal and it doesn’t hurt that he is hot as hell and a cop.

From page one my heart strings were pulled. Chasing Honor was intense, suspenseful and packe

The story of Honor (aka Smalls), Ethan and Carson is a lovely family love story. Ethan is a father at the age of 16 and chooses to keep his daughter when her mother wants to continue her life without them. Through his trials he takes care of, loves and raises a very happy outgoing little girl. Honor is running from a domineering step father and a creepy step brother. When she meets Ethan in the park, he is not pleasant at all, but then she meets him again when she shows up to rent a room from hi ...more

Yowser! Now that is a good book. Chasing Honor by Riley Edwards is a phenomenal romantic suspense. Ms. Edwards has delivered a book that is well-written and stuffed it full of a cast of characters that are lovable and just make this book into a fabulous read. Ethan became a single father at 16 and is now a cop. Honor is a photographer trying to get away from her step-father and step-brother. Ethan and Honor's story is loaded with drama, humor, sizzle, action and suspense. I enjoyed every page of ...more

Beautifully sweet but sizzlingly hot!

Ethan, Carson and Honor, I am not sure where to start or even who is my favourite character. This book is overflowing with sass, love, laughter, hot loving, growly Alpha, tears, 'helping' family members and stupid 'man moments'.
Can Carson lead Ethan and Honor through the emotional minefields that are their pasts to show them, as only an eight year old can, that now and the future are what are most important and whilst the past has shaped us, you cannot let i

Such a good book! I enjoyed both the H and h. It was great to catch up with some amazing characters from the prior books. I probably should have gone back and re-read the 707 series to remind myself of all the characters and their connections, but was too anxious to start this one! It was a good story line, not as gritty as the first book in the series though- and that was OK with me.

I felt there could have been more development of the stepfather, stepbrother and baby-mama characters, but it wo

AN INTENSE DRAMA AND ROMANCE

An intense story about a young man who at Sixteen accepts the responsibility of keeping and raising his daughter when the mother wanted to put the baby up for adoption. He struggled for years making sure his daughter had a loving, comfortable and secure home. He is now a police officer and is surrounded by his extended family. OMG! What a story! This is about Ethan and Honor and Carson. Ethan became a dad at 16 and never regretted his decision. Honor was leaving a bad situation and trying to start over after her mother's death. The story is heartbreaking yet thrilling as these two fall in love. It's unfortunate that Honor had to deal with the step-dad and his son. Towards the end, Honor did everything she could to protect Carson and Ethan but in the end, Ethan won. The proposals were so heartwarming I had

Chasing Honor (The Next Generation Book 2)

Honor knew that it was time for her to be on her own and moved to a small town in Georgia. She was a photographer and she had saved enough money to start a small business. She was smart and sassy and beautiful, and when she stopped in at a local park and saw the perfect picture, and she took it. She sure didn't mean to make that man mad at her for taking the picture, but he was and didn't hesitate to let her know that she had crossed the line. His line ,

I enjoyed the story. Ethan has been a single father since the age of 16. He doesn't trust easily. Ethan meets Honor and is attracted to her and keeps pulling and pushing her. Honor doesn't understand why Ethan keeps running hot and cold. Honor left her stepfathers house to strike out on her own and her stepfather has other plans for her. A wonderful story. What happens between Honor and Ethan. Does Ethan push Honor away for good? a must read

A Must Read

Ethan took on the responsibility of a baby, Carson, at age 16 because his cheerleader girlfriend didn’t want her. It’s been 8 years and he’s now a cop and needs to rent a room to pay for extras. Honor, a photographer, shows up and changes everything. This book is action packed, lots of suspense and lots of tears. It also has an evil dirty politician and his spoiled entitled son, a stubborn hardheaded man, a woman who loves said hardheaded man, a cute too smart kid, family family and

This was an enjoyable story. The plot was interesting and fast-moving, and I did like the romance. However, the hero's lack of communication did get to me after a while, and I hated the nickname "smalls". Also, I wasn't a fan of the end of the epilogue. I am generally not huge on the epilogue setting up the next book somewhat out of the blue, which is what this felt like. Also, I was hoping for a more uplifting ending and not... that. I also figured the next book would have been about different ...more

Good read

When Honor met Ethan he was in serious dad more because Honor had taken a picture of his daughter Carson. Then when she went to see about renting a room, there was Ethan again. She did rent the room and it wasn't long before the desire in them both came out. But someone wanted Honor out of his way and came her to wreck her car. Carson was in the back seat, but wasn't injured. Honor wasn't as lucky and had to have surgery. Ethan stayed by her side the whole time. She was his bone deep lo

Chasing Honor kept my interest from the first page to the last. I absolutely loved Ethan and his family. They show what can be accomplished when you have each other. The other side of the spectrum is Honor's politically motivated stepfather and how insane some families can be. As always, I look forward to reading more from this author, who can blend romance and suspense wonderfully.

Well I was disappointed...... in the fact that the book ended! Absolutely FANTASTIC! The love and responsibility of owning his mistakes and loving his daughter unconditionally was beautiful. Having such an amazing family for support was incredible. Honor was the perfect light completing their little family. The bonds they formed together and that of her and his daughter were so strong. There are a couple of unexpected twists in there too. You won't want to put it down.

I was captivated by the relationship Ethan had with his sweet daughter, Carson, and also with the relationship Honor developed with the little girl. Such a sweet family that I couldn’t help but smile.
I always like a twist or two and there were a couple scenes that had me saying “I didn’t see that coming”. Though at the same time, I could have done with less drama that centered around Honor. Honestly, that poor lady went through a lot in just a few chapters. Overall 4.25 Stars

Chasing Honor

Ethan has been raised to be a stand up man and has proven he is since he was 16 and took on the raising of his daughter single handedly. He hasn't dated or had any real relationship for the eight years he has had Carson. Enter his new house mate Honor, with problems of her own she is holding close to her vest. As they get to know one another, there might just be something extra between them, however will the 3 of them make it through all the turmoil to a HEA?

I really enjoyed this book.... spoiler alerts to follow .... It was great to see a young man step up and want to be the father for his child at such a young age. What impressed me the most though was that the mother of the child was not vilified for knowing she did not have it in her to be a mother. I loved that eventually Ethan found someone who was his other half and that even though things did not run smoothly it had a HEA. another Riley Edwards great read

I LOVE this story so hard!
Ethan is a super protective single dad with alpha tendencies.
Honor is a sassy and determined woman trying to begin her life on her terms.
When Honors secrets are exposed, and one of Ethans biggest fears surface, will they be strong enough to overcome them or will Ethan be forever Chasing Honor?
