I love this author, and I loved Madeline in the previous book, so I a was super excited to start this one. Alas, there were a couple of issues I had with it right off the bat. Strike one; I am just not a fan of uber manwhores anymore. IT HAS BEEN DONE TO DEATH. This hero was supposed to be 30, but he had the maturity level of a teenager. I flat out loved it! This trope is an absolute favorite of mine.

picked this one up on the recommendation of lj shen via twitter. it was peddled as hate-t0-love which i was of course, into. but nothing about the love interest reeled me in.
i think playboys are getting harder and harder to impress me. especially one's that are unapologetic or have no backstory for why they behave like that. and in general... this guy was just irritating. not infuriating in a sexy way, but just annoying.

I didn't realize when I started this book how much I would end up liking Nathaniel and thoroughly enjoy watching Madeline and him fall from 'pretend' to Real. There's something about what a lovable rogue Nathaniel is and his Peter Pan like 'intentions' that made me enjoy watching his conversion. I'm sure I loved and hated it. The feels came from the back story and such. The romance was on 10 at one point, but the author pulled the family strings and made it more. I was feeling left out in the end. If you're gonna give a ending like that, give me the details, FFS. I feel robbed and satisfied. Shaking my head here.

10 BEAUTIFUL STARS!! Phenomenal is all I can say!! This book will be in my TOP 10 books for 2019....I already know!! Nathaniel and Madeline's story is beautifully written with all the feels and their banter is off the charts good. These characters will be engraved in my heart forever. AHHHH! In•ten•tion was my my first Ava Harrison read and honestly I don't know what took me so long. This novel was outstanding!!! Nathaniel and Madeline had chemistry in spades and their spirited and fiery banter was absolutely delicious. This story was sexy, emotional and very raw. I laughed, cried and swooned all while reading this in one sitting. I loved this story so hard!!

I fell for Nathaniel Harrington hook, line and sinker, although having said that he really was an arrogant, egotistical jerk at the beginning of the book. There were times that I wanted to smack Nathaniel across the back of the head for his behaviour. The pain and suffering that Madeline (Tink) Montgomery went through was palpable, and the anguish, sadness and sense of loss almost had me in tears.

Wow. Another brilliantly emotional love journey by Ava. This is only my second book by the author but I can’t tell you how much I love her writing. It leaves me breathless each time. It’s smooth and heartfelt and just plain perfection. It was a mix between a modern day Peter Pan fairytale and an enemies to lovers romance. I love the slow build up between Nathaniel and Madeline. The chemistry was red hot and when they came together they were combustible. There was some angst with lots of emotion.

Annoying, cheesy, cheltenham tragedy, day time soap opera, awful writing, really disgustingly boring writing, I want to say unlikeable heroine, but really loathe some heroine and unlikeable hero. Ummm I guess that covers it all. Banal, trite, cringing story.

Intention is one very emotional rollercoaster. My heart broke for the characters so many times, omg. I liked the slow-burn relationship between Madeline and Nathaniel. Ava Harrison couldn’t have gone wrong with the enemies-to-lovers trope since it’s one of my favorites. And the fake-dating twist got me turning the pages even faster. A psychotic bitch, a snooty, arrogant cunt who feels superior to anyone else. First of all, she called Nathaniel, her boss, a dick and told him to fuck off on their first encounter. I mean, really? Were I him, I'd sack this bitch asap.
Second of all, she feels she is so much better than everyone else, the queen of ice, a walking perfection almost. There's a fragment she says about her friend Lucy, who is hot for Nathaniel.
