Skim read most of the book. Gosh, characters are interesting but writing the story needed editing. Could of been one book instead of two also. Ugh. Such a waste of hot cover model.

The End Game is the second book in The Game Duet by Mickey Miller. The first book, The Lying Game must be read first, as this is a continuation of the first book in the duet. After that ending, I was both excited and scared to get my hands on this book. How would it all end?

It was easy to imagine Carter and Lacy’s story over after that ending in The Lying Game. How could they ever move forward? But their journey is far from over and definitely not an easy one. Could Carter show Lacy how much he

Carter and Lacey have certainly had their ups and downs, all the way back to when they were in high school. The first part of their story, The Lying Game, ended with Lacey moving from Chicago to New York in order to persue her dancing career, along with her good friend and fellow dancer, Lance. But just when she thinks she's put Carter in the rearview mirror and decides that she’s moving on with her life, Carter turns back up. He may be an all-star basketball pro, but his personal life has been ...more

"To possess her, is what I want. I want her to be all mine, to have and to hold and to cherish."

So much happened in this book, it was unreal!! Hot as all get out, pulse-pounding, angsty, really left me breathless and swooning!! The HEA was so worth all the moments that you thought it wouldn't happen, and how the story was all tied together was crazy!! This duet will take you for a ride and I think most readers with fall in love with this couple as much as I did! I thank the Author for providing

I loved the final culmination of Blackwell and the Ballers series! I love how Miller ties both worlds together by something so sinister I didn’t even know it was coming!

Lacy and Carter have loved one another since high school but past mistakes and pride tore them apart! In book 1 we see the reconnection of these two but when the past has yet to be dealt with it comes rearing it’s ugly head and takes these two on an adventure that they never anticipated!

Angst, drama, suspense, danger, humor, witty banter, turmoil, a few twists, heartbreak, forgiveness, love and awesome epilogues... everything I love in a well written, emotional and sexy sports romance story.

I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.

"Face it Carter, boundaries were never our thing."
"I know. But I wanted to respect them, for once in my life."

What a great finale to the duet!! I loved Carter and Lacy in book one. I wanted to slap Carter at the end of Lying Game but now? Now, he's wiggled his way in to my heart for good!

Carter Flynn realized he made the biggest mistake of his life. Letting her go. It's always been her. It will always be her. Now, he just has to convince her to talk to him. Piece of cake, right? He needs her now

Wow, this book is simply phenomenal that you NEED to READ—you won’t regret it! This is the epic conclusion of the duet of the Love Games—this is a very good enemy to lover’s sports romance. This is book 2 of a duet set, you need to read book 1 first! In The Lying Game-Lacey moves to Chicago to take part in a dance camp, needing a place to stay her mom arranges a place with her mom's best friend's son, who happens to be Lacey's ex. Carter is cocky, sexy and pro basketball player. The Lying Game leave the story with them ending a summer fling, she going to New York to dance and him staying in Chicago playing ball, a cliffy for sure. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. What a way to end this duet. I loved it. Carter and Lacey are amazing together, even though it was a rough start for these two. They had a summer fling, things ended and Lacey left for New York to start her career. Let’s say that Carter isn’t one to commit. A little time and growing up on his part, his life has changed and could really use a friend and he wants Lacey. When they are thrown together the chemistry is still there, the angst, the ...more

If you have not read the 1st book in this duet, The Lying Game do so now. After reading the first book I could not wait for the second half. Mickey certainly delivered another knock down story line. Carter & Lacey's world will rattle your funny bone, tug at your heart, and make you see red. Not to mention all the hot and steamy scenes written in only the way Mickey can (scorching hot). There are twists in this book I so did not see coming and since I read so many books it's hard to find one ...more

Sweet Lord and baby Jesus! I am shaking. My body is full of adrenaline and my head is spinning. I knew I was going to get answers to many, many questions I had about many of the author's other book characters and how they were connected, but I didn't expect my mind to be blown away like this. The End Game is everything. It has everything a romance book should and more. I just can't believe how much Mickey Miller has achieve with this book. He tied his many stories together in a powerful yet titt ...more

This is the conclusion to The Game Duet. You have to read The Lying Game before this book. This book starts with Lacy in New York, dancing with Blue Illusion. This is the story that I wanted to read in the first book. I wanted Carter to man up and face all the things that were holding him back from living an amazing life. Lacy finally figured out what she was worth, what she deserved, and she stuck to her guns. But when Carter looks like he can be that man? They are electric together. I liked th ...more

The second in The Game Duet, originally left us all hanging, I could not wait to get my hands on The End Game cause I wanted to know what was going to happen to the amazing characters that we were introduced to and fell in love with in The Lying Game. Lacy and Carter are back of course and still finding themselves and each other. The roller coaster ride once again of emotions, you will want to keep the pages turning and not want to put this story down. You will wanna have a box of tissues handy ...more

Alright ya'all, I have been waiting read this book and find out how this duet will end. Lacy...Carter...the flame just grows. Love Games Duet has been my most anticipated read this year. The passion will cut you. The heartache will make you shed a few tears. This has been a great year for Mickey Miller. His books are all amazing. But this duet has shown us how much he has grown into an author.

The End Game will give you the shivers for several reasons. The heat factor is scorching hot. The chemis

The End Game is the second in the Game Duet and the conclusion of Carter and Lacy’s story. They have had one hell of a long ride from high school sweethearts to now. It has been a ride with many ups and downs, heartbreak, and drama with a few twists to keep it interesting. You will
be rooting for them to find their happy ending but at the same time they will frustrate you and have you wanting to shake some sense into them both. It is obvious that both Carter and Lacy want to be together but they

Holy Crap!!!! What a way to end the Duet! This is the continuation of the first book, The Lying Game, so you NEED to read that first!
Carter and Lacey have had their share of issues with each other, but through it all, they always loved each other, even if they were to stubborn to admit it. In this final book, Mickey Miller ties in characters from the Blackwells Series, and oh man did this get deep! There are twists and turns I never saw coming! Just when you think you know, BAM, plot twist! I r

This is conclusion of Carter and Lacey story and it brings all the powerful emotions, drama, steam, twists, intensity and angst you could ever want. I love these characters and have been rooting for them every step of the way. Carter and Lacey's chemistry is sizzling and the scenes between them are smoking hot. Unfortunately, even though they have been through quite a bit, they have more hurdles to clear before they get that HEA. Can Carter redeem himself and win back Lacey? Read this enjoyable ...more

Loved it!

Although I absolutely adooorrrreeee Mickey’s books and I loved the majority of the storyline for this book, I couldn’t get past one thing. Amy was 8 months or so pregnant in the lying game, the the end game came out and she was 7 months pregnant. Then Cater and Lacy split up for 6 months and they get back together for a weekend and Amy’s finally giving birth. Other then the timeline of Amy incorporated into both books, these books are 5 Stars. I had to knock it down because I kept laugh

Let me start my saying you MUST READ The Lying Game (book one) first no questions about it. In book two were brought back to both Lacy and Carter as they each go through their own adjustments from where we left off. This is an emotional rollercoaster ride throughout the book. I enjoyed the duel POV as well, we get to see a whole other side of Carter and see him growing and becoming not a new man but a more well rounded one. This is more then just a sports basketball romance story that I feel eve ...more

Final Score Settled

What a whirlwind of emotions from this second book.

Lacy is trying to move on from Carter. It isn't easy but there's hope. Carter can't stop thinking about Lacy. He wants her but it seems she's over him. But sage advice is given and taken. Carter is turning over a new leaf. He's going after Lacy.

But his past keeps returning along with doubts. Can they come together?

Plot twists i didn't expect. Hurt for Lacy's aching heart and I was rooting for Carter to do .

Great conclusion!

This is the second book and final part of this duet by this author. I absolutely love this author, you are always guaranteed an amazing story from them. This book had lots of twists and turns within the plot. This book can not be read as a stand alone read. The characters have the same intense, amazing chemistry as the first book. This is the fantastic ending to this duet. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

I really enjoyed this duet! I empathised with Carter it seemed nothing could go right for him between his father, basketball and Lacey. I just wanted something to go his way. They say nothing worth having comes without a fight and he did! Lance and Joseph were great characters, loved their humour and they seemed so genuine. Lacy seemed a little wish washy for me and was too quick to pull out the pity card for herself. There are many twists and long shots you won’t pick up on and well worth readi ...more

Epically emotional. This takes you through ALL the emotions. This is the concluding part to the lying game and takes us through even more emotional turmoil than the first part. Not to mention the HAF scenes that leave you breathless and slightly envious of laces. (Chapter 30 anyone) You will need tissues if you’re a crier. And boy did I cry. It’s been a while a rom com (or in the case of Mickey’s alphas Dom Com) made me cry. And ugly cry I did. Be prepared to feel the spectrum. His best work yet ...more

An awesome finish to a two part story. Carter and Lacy are awesome. I was at first nervous how Carter was going to be since the break up with Lacy. He ended up being such a sweetheart. My own heart went out to him with the struggle to regain Lacy's trust and meeting his father. Lacy made my blood pressure rise several times in this part of their story. She came thru in the end, and showed Carter that she was his soul mate. Carter was such a strong sweetheart in the end. These two are great the f ...more

I loved Carter and Lacey's story. The first part ended and I was left waiting in anticipation to see if they could get their act together and work things out. Lacey has moved back to New York after Carter broke things off. He is still trying to deal with learning the truth about his birth father and all the step brother and sisters that may be out there. Lacey wants to give him a second chance but doesn't know if she can trust him. There is an absolutely epic climax and I loved every minute. A f ...more

Lacy and Carter have quite the story to tell and after you finish The Lying Game (that you will LOVE) make sure you get The End Game for the conclusion to their crazy journey!! I went through all kinds of emotions, from laughing out loud to having tears streaming down my face, and let's not forget the frustration that made me want to read even faster, but I forced myself to slow down so I didn't miss a thing!!
