The fourth and last book in the series. Another family (makes me wonder, why the authors did not 'follow' one family the whole time? This time they told about the lives of Frits, Betje, Marietje en Jan.
I liked to go on journey with all of the children: for me it was a journey back in time and nice to compare my life to theirs. Nice to see though, that basically (in rules, attitude etc.) nothing much had changed when I read the books.

This is a series of books which were used to improve technical reading while I was a child at primary school. The content of the stories not only focussed on technical reading, but also explained things about biology and geography. Bought this second-hand copy as a kind of nostagia
