Introducing Gender and Women's Studies
This is a substantially revised and refocused third edition of a best-selling and highly regarded textbook. Carefully designed to reflect both classic and new developments in the popular and lively fields of gender and women's studies, its breadth and depth make it suitable for students taking courses for the first time at either undergraduate or postgraduate level. Its new design and structure both highlight the connections across different areas of debate and maximize the book's accessibility as an indispensable source book for study.

This was a textbook so my rating is based on how good it is as a textbook and in that sense it is reasonable but not great. It does cover the topic pretty well, but it also sums up everything that's wrong with Sociology as a discipline. This is a collection of opinions barely supported by evidence.
Even though it has a comprehensive references section, the sources are all more opinions unsuported by evidence. Womens' studies haas a barrow to push, so this is what you would expect, but couching a collection of polemics as a textbook is a bit of a con on the reader.
