Hi, I am going to tell about a report of the book: X-Men; The Last Stand. The story is set in America in the present tense. The main characters live there in a school for mutants. The story begins 20 years ago in a small town (In America) where Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr visit Jean Grey to offer their assistance with her dealing with her powers. Jean has a lot of powers what she can’t control. The theme of the book is Science-fiction because there are mutants with powers. Mutants are humans who have an extra power. This power could be for example, determine the weather or things levitate in the air. In this book, people consider this power with a disease and try to invent a medicine (successful). One of the main characters is Wolverine also known as Logan who has a special power. He was born with the power to heal almost any wound and has an unbreakable skeleton and claws. Wolverine was captured by a Canadian and was treated like an animal. It took years to control himself and even in these days is it very difficult for him. The Last stand means the stand to the medicine and the battle with magneto (Erik Lensherr). X-Men is the group of mutants who fights against the bad guys. I think the book is a fantastic Science-Fiction book. The book has a good story with many exciting parts. It has also something adventurous what is really nice. There are many different powers what is a dream for every young boy. Specially wolverine do appeal to me, he has the most incredible powers of all mutants. I can really recommend this book for people who are into fantasy and exciting powers!
Of course, I already had seen the movies and loved them. Even as a kid I used to watch the cartoon adaption. This is the last "episode" of the movie trilogy (without considering the story of some mutants).
A lot of action is involved, and I could imagine the characters from the movies. If you haven't seen the movies yet, well, what are you waiting for?
