I wanted to fall for a man. Instead I fell for a legend...

The month I wrote my first piece of code, Jax Jamieson launched his third platinum album.

The week I drank my first beer, he spent in jail.

The day I got under his skin, I wound up on his tour.

And the night he gave me his hoodie…

I fell in love forever.

But I recommend you would buy a copy of book 2 (because one absolutely will be hooked after reading book 1),, and see if you are comfortable with the sexual scenes. It is a slow-burn romance, with great characters, but realistically, lots of F-words, and then they hook-up in Book 2, and sex scenes are quite graphic in describing her first experience. (less)

If you’re looking for slow burn romance with a moody rocker hero, and a seemingly sweet and unique heroine, then Good Girl is it. Lawson does a fantastic job stacking the building blocks in book one of this three part series. We get to know Haley and Jax. We learn some of their past and see them grow and change with each other. The tension in this one is more sweet than steamy, and on the steam scale I’d say it rates about a 3 out of 10, but if you’re looking for a story that’s more budding roma ...more

I Loved this story, a really enjoyable Rockstar Romance with a different twist.
Nerdy girl Haley Telfer, finds herself on tour with one of the biggest Rockstars in the world, a dream come true right? Jax Jamieson, Rock God, Sexy as Hell, lead singer in the bad Riot act gets more than he bargains for when Haley gatecrashes onto his tour, to assist Jerry the sound guy.

This is a pretty decent series. Haley has issues with being touched by strangers and has no filter when it comes to voicing her thoughts (which she does often and freely, to our great enjoyment!) She is extremely intelligent and can code and create analytical aps with the best of them. But Haley's life gets complicated when she goes to work for Wicked as an intern, and is sent to "babysit" superstar Jax Jamieson, one of Wicked's top musicians.

Piper Lawson is a gifted story teller. Haley's fort

I'm a good girl. Jax Jamieson is a legend.

The day I wrote my first computer program... he launched his third platinum album.
The night I drank my first beer... he spent in jail.
The day he tried to get me fired... I ended up on his tour.

I'm a college junior with my whole future ahead of me. And he's the vice I'd give it all up for.

Haley and Jax's story continues in Bad Girl and concludes in Wicked Girl!

A Rockstar romance with strong MCs in both Haley and Jax. Another great read from
Piper Lawson! Can’t wait to see what happens in book 2.

The h is bored with usual set of guys. She doesn’t have the nice experience in sexual department.

“What I can deduce from my own meager experience, porn, and Serena’s war stories is that guys like to be teased, squeezed, popped until they burst all over you, at which point they’re basically deflated hot air balloons taking up the entire bed.”

But she loves the rockstar H. Luckily she gets a technician kind of job on his next tour. But unfortunately when she meets him he is an asshole to

I read another book, Play, by Lawson and was impressed. This book was free so I thought I'd give her another shot. Lawson is definitely not a one trick pony. (I already bought book two and am at 70% btw.)

Good Girl is an engaging read with no unnecessary filler, yet doesn't move too fast or gloss over good parts. Like Play, Good Girl is not my usual read but I devoured it. I bought book two from the last page of book one. I didn't even go into a browser or Amazon app and deliberate for an hour l

I received a copy and voluntarily left a review and all opinions are my own.

Piper Lawson has quickly became one of my favorite authors but never has she had me addicted so easily to a storyline as she has with her Wicked series. From the moment I began Good Girl and met Haley and Jax and began the Riot Act Tour, I was enthralled by the push and pull between these two magnetic characters and was left anxiously awaiting the second book in the series Bad Girl. In fact, I am not ashamed to admit th
Three and a half stars.

Haley Telfer needs an internship stat or she will lose her place on her college course. She has the usual tragic backstory, single mom killed in a car crash, lost her college scholarships as a result (isn't there a family tragedy clause in those things?), never knew her father yadda, yadda. Then, after she thinks she has bombed a job interview with Wicked Records, she gets told she's got the job. Then, as luck would have it, on her first day, actually on her way to her ind

Oh my gosh I LOVED it!! Rockstar done 100% right ❤️❤️

This was my first read from a new to me author and I couldn’t read it fast enough! Jax is exactly the brooding, kinda broken rockstar I adore & Haley is fantastically quirky & smart. Gah! Absolutely loved this slow burn and am diving straight into book 2.

Definitely recommend

5 SLOW BURN STARS!! Wow, what a beautiful slow burn rockstar romance that keeps you flipping pages. I absolutely loved Jax and Haley. These two will have your heart pounding while you read their story. This is my first book by Piper Lawson and she has won a new fan. I can't wait to read the next book.

I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntarily, honest review of it.

I love reading stories about nerds or about rockstars and here you have both! So I was very looking forward to reading it.

‘Good girl’ is a new adult story. It’s a light, fun, easy story to read. Which means that if you’re looking for a rock star story with lots of drama or sex in it than this isn’t the story for you but if you’re looking for a sweet, slow burn story to read than give this one a try.

Rocker & College nerd. Haley’s had it tough and her college education is at risk. Jax has had it with fame and wants to step away from the limelight but then he meets Haley. Haley gets him but there are complications. Loved the interaction of the main characters but need my HEA not a fan of the cliffhanger. ...more

Great Start

This is a great start to the trilogy (I'm hoping there's an HEA by then). I hate... and kinda love... cliffhangers. It's complicated...much like these characters. Jax and Haley have plenty of chemistry with enough angst and denial to fill a stadium.

“I’ve never had a real job before. I live behind a computer.” I slap my forehead. “And I was planning on a job where I’d have time to work on my program with Professor Carter.”⠀
“Forget Carter. This is a sign. You’re going to fuck Jax Jamieson.” ⠀
This is the risk of being friends with Serena. She regularly makes statements that, although they may be entirely false, have the immediate effect of taking years off your life. “Serena, it’s not a sign. It’s a mistake chased by a coincidence wrapped in
“I can’t be what you want.” I expect her to protest or pull away. Instead she smiles, the tiniest gesture in the blackness of the car, but I feel it in every part of me. “You already are.” And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the sound of a man who’s well and truly fucked.

Super quick read involving a Hot Rockstar and the College Intern. This one is slow burn with low level steam (we get tension and 1 long awaited make out session but that’s all folks) but loads of chemistry between the H & H
Jax who seemed a bit of a jerk at the beginning of the book turned out to be a pretty neat character. Jax is a legend in the music world> but he has reservations about people and heavy past baggage he can’t let go off.
Haley is given the opportunity to work on the tour for Jax. Haley had had it tough financially and there is a lot at stake for her. So this opportunity for her is huge. Haley is a very funny and sweet character and so easy to love. She has solutions to the problems that haven’t beg

Pretty good book. Kept my attention. The whole push and pull thing.
It did have some dragging moments where I found myself skimming. Very slow burn.

I did buy the second book but after the third chapter, I felt myself skimming again. Its just a little slow for me and not as captivating. I prob could have finished book 2 but then i would have had to pay another 2.99 for the third book that was only 180pages long; with some of those pages table contents, thank yous, etc.. I did returned book 2 short

So, I hated Jax in the Rivals series but I loved Annie (Jax daughter) and Tyler so much that I wanted more of their past as children... so I decided to read this series and I really liked Haley! Jax... was hot I guess. I understand why Haley is attracted to him but I'm still not in love with him. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Nice read with two very likeable characters. A nerdy college student and an accomplished rockstar. It's a cliffhanger kinda deal so I guess I'll give my final review when I'm done this series.

This was a good start to their story. Haley is given the opportunity to work on the tour for Jax. They both are different people but connect. Although, things do seem hot and cold first. However, I'm sure as their story continues things will get better.

If you aren’t ready to spend 3 hrs reading don’t pick up this book! It’s been a while since I have started and finished a book in 3 hrs. No need for a bookmark bc you can’t put it down. I want more! It’s seems like your typical love story and maybe it is but it’s so much deeper than that.

Haley suddenly lands a spot on tour with one of her rockstar crushes. She doesn’t see what’s coming and how it’s going to change her life. She has issues with touch and lives to code. No one things the bad boy rocker and resident bad boy are on the same page. Sexy rockstar romance
