I liked Dani and Trevor. I think they had a good friendship going before she finally has decided she's got to change something.
I like how they come together. He's so attuned to sleazy girls but understands Dani's past and wants to be tender. He has the most growth but Dani wants closure with her mother which makes the topic of her dad a plot point different than most rockstar romance. This is the second book in this awesome series and is Dani and Trevor’s story. Dani has always had a huge crush on sexy drummer Trevor, but unbeknown to her, she has been classed as off limits, and her feelings are reciprocated. This was a good story and even though it had terrible real life issues it didn’t make me gag. Trevor was a rockstar drummer and Dani was the song writer for the band and Joey the lead singer’s twin sister. Joey and Dani had a horrific childhood that included mental, physical and sexual abuse but they managed to survive. I didn’t understand why Trevor kept walking away when he clearly loved Dani, anyway the story worked. I can’t wait to read the next two books. I recommend this book.

Wow another great book in this series. I thought I loved Joey and Teva’s story but Trevor and Dani’s story was every bit as good. Trevor stole my heart and bless Dani’s heart. She has had it ruff. What a survivor. This book touch many serious issues that people deal with daily, but she overcame. What a testament.

So I have totally become obsessed with this series. Dani and Trevors story totally took my heart and ran with it. It melted me in so many ways. The love. The sadness. The hurt. The pain. The mending of one who was once broken... Powerful! Totally a must read!
