The art quality in the larger shots seemed to really decline in quality in this issue. Also, what's with ALL the added plot and nothing still resolved. So THE girl might be immortal? And there's another sister (purple haired) who used to be a TV star? And the cop has gone crazy? And what's up with Sunny's new physique, he looks creepy... Just resolve ONE thing. That's ALL I'm asking for.
This was quaint. I still feel this will be exceptional as a single complete story, as a lot of the wait between issues dissolves all the nuances I enjoyed from previous issues. Snotgirl is a series that spikes in climaxes or takes a bit to build, and when it connects with a climax, it's incredible. When you're waiting for the next revelation, you're waiting.
I do like the slow build for some of the sub-plots, but this issue was a fairly quiet one in development.
Um, we have a new character by the name of Rosie and she crashed at her baby sister's place for awhile. Of course, Lottie isn't happy about it because Rosie ruined her make out session with Caroline. Oh, Sunny found out that Caroline and Virgil didn't age thanks to an old magazine from the library. It's getting better I think and the genre is turning into supernatural.
I really enjoyed this issue of snotgirl, I thought I loved the new character, Rosie and we're finally getting somewhere with the Caroline story. PLUS i feel like it was growth for Lottie, her finally learning she can stick up for herself like an adult
imma have to see if i like rosie next issues. lottie will get there standing up for herself. what is everyone's weird obsession with her and why is she always topless with these posters and stuff? finally getting traction on the caroline mystery!!!
Ok, I just want this series to end ASAP—not because I hate it and I want to be done with it, but because this is getting really good and those cliffhangers are killing me!
