I loved this book. The story held me enthralled and the detail was amazing. I swear I could feel the heat of the fire, see the flames, smell the smoke. Vivid, descriptive writing and the build up to the romance was great. It’s an inspirational but the faith element worked well with the story and didn’t detract at all from the tension and the plot. It kept me guessing to almost the end, wondering who The Master was. I’d highly recommend this book.

This is a great story for those who like Christian-themed novels.

The plot grips you right from the start with sinister thoughts from the fire Master and keeps you guessing as to his identity to the end.

The love developing between two grieving people gives insights into their doubts and fears. At the mainstay of the plot, the family’s' deep belief In God keeps them fortified and united.

Good, strong writing carries the reader into this tense novel and leaves them with a sense of satisfaction.

Justice Burning is a Christian based romantic suspense about an arsonist in a small town. Not to heavy on romance, the story is more about the search for a local fire-bug than it is the love story between two wounded hearts that are reluctant to try again. I found the dialog between the main characters realistic, in the sense of two people that just meet and are getting to know each other while struggling with a strong, albeit unwanted attraction.   I felt that the romantic subplot was pretty mu ...more

I think this is my favorite book by April Erwin yet. It's flirty and sweet with a touch of mystery. The main characters, Aiden and Morgan, are easy to like, relate to, and cheer on! Their awkward and considerate interactions are lifelike and entertaining. I really love the inside look into these character's lives and how April writes about their time within the fire department. The jokes, sarcastic comebacks, and genuine conversations make this an easy and diverting read. The ending is satisfyin ...more
