Brandon: Sabrina was my childhood friend. My first crush. My first mistake was leaving her behind. I had crushed her heart, unaware of the feelings she harbored for me. And twenty years is a long time to hold onto that grief. Now I'm back in Seattle and like fate has it, we meet again.
She might not have been my first kiss or love but I want her to be my soul-mate. My life partner.I might never be able to get over my first love, but I want Sabrina to complete me and be my new beginning. I wish to be her knight in shining armor, saving her from the shackles of a broken marriage. A real father for her daughter, Clara.
But I have fucked up too many times in the past. She won't trust me with her heart again. I can come close to being her friend but nothing more.... When have I ever given up, though? I try not to play unfair this time, but with Linden guiding me with his twisted antics (He stole my first love - My Gem from me or maybe it was me who first tried to snatch her from him - either way Gem is his now and he's just returning the favor), I might actually make Sabrina fall for me. As Brandon, I can just be her best friend, but as 'Scott' (Her anonymous on-line friend), I will gain her trust and woo her. No matter whom she chooses, she will end up with me and I will be everything she wants and asks for.
Twisted Connections is a Spin-Off of Love Connection Series. Every book in Twisted Connections can be read as a standalone. (It's NOT necessary to read Love Connection Series before reading this book)
Meghana Sarathy is from Bangalore, India. She is an avid reader and also a writer. She writes Adult and New Adult romance, and also wishes to try her hands at dark and psychological thrillers. She especially loves reading and writing love triangles, taboo romance, and angst filled stories that are quite complex and unconventional. Her books tend to involve protagonists who are flawed, far from perfect, and as real as they can get. Her all-time favorite characters are her very own characters- Jennifer, Brandon and Linden. She tends to fall hard for boys who are either cocky, bossy or good flirts and total charmers. She spends most of her free time reading, writing, watching anime or studying. Her favorite genre are Psychological Thrillers, Teen Drama and Sci-fi (especially time travel stories). Being an IT professional, she is totally plugged into Cloud Technology, specializing in Cloud Networking and Security. When she’s not writing, she is studying for technical certification courses. She is a crazy fan of Dragonball Z and can be seen watching the episodes in repeat. Vegeta is her all-time favorite anime character. Steins Gate and Monster come second in the list of her favorite anime, and currently Dark is her fav non-anime series.
When Brandon doesn't recognize his childhood friend, Sabrina, she's crushed. But screw him. She doesn't need or want him in her life anyway. But she underestimated Brandon and how persistent he would be at getting her back into his life. Now, does he want to be just friends, or is his (and her) former crush alive and well?
I haven't read any of the other books that are apparently associated with this one, so I admit to being a tad lost at first. But once the story picked up, it was easy to see who was who and what they all felt for each other. I liked Brandon and Sabrina together. I like how sweet he was and how determined he was to get her into his life again. I hope there's more to come in this world, because Everlasting Connections was a great way to start a new series!
Everlasting Connections by Meghana Sarathy is a spin off to the Love Connection series. Brandon is back and more swoon-worthy than ever!!! He's back in his hometown for the one thing he left behind but he never expected to encounter Sabrina. They were childhood friends who became reacquainted and bam! Get ready for a riproaring ride filled with witty, sexy banter between the main characters, a great plot, fantastic secondary characters, feels, thrills, twists/turns and the sweet moments that will capture your attention and keep you hooked from start to finish. I can't wait for book 2 in this new series.
Everlasting Connections is a spin-off of a prior series and the first book in the Twisted Connections series. You do not have to read the prior series to fall in love with Brandon as the author gives you the background needed to feel the emotions and events that surround the secondary characters and Brandon. If you have read the other series, it makes you miss those characters, but how they interact here still has your heart pumping and laughter spilling with things that occur. Brandon is always up to something and you ever wondered if he would grow up and move on from Gem. There’s not much that he can do that doesn’t shock you so when Rina becomes a blast from the past in the now, it is quite funny how they come face to face. The whole Linden factor is awesome in this story, I’ll leave it at that so that you can get the full Linden affect and chuckle a time or two while reading this story. The connection with the littles is heart melting and shows you that Brandon does have a heart regardless of his many mess-ups over the years. The story is well written, has some twists, has you laughing and so much more while reading. There is a child who may or may not get to have a Twisted Connection that I can not wait for as anything Linden or Brandon involvement is sure to be Twisted with a bond full Connection that you will enjoy. Hopefully we don’t have to wait to long!
Brandon is back!!! He is still the same - Hot, handsome, charming and an all-time flirt, still very much in love with his Gem. But he wishes to start all over again - Find new love and actually settle down. He's back to Seattle and the very first day, he runs into his childhood friend -Sabrina. A lot has changed for the years, but his crush on her is very much alive. So Brandon starts on his new journey to win her heart but it's far from easy and an unlikely alley comes to his aid - Linden.
This is a second chance romance with an 'unconventional twist' to it. Characters from Love Connection have a recurring role to play (lookout for the banters between the characters - they are ROFL funny) and not to forget the kids - Clara and ahem ahem - 'Kellan'!! When and how will Brandon learn the truth about his son and how will it impact his new dynamics with Sabrina? Lot of questions but all the answers are bundled up in this standalone romance coming March/April 2019.
This book was such a joy to read and it warmed my heart, and when I finished it, I was so satisfied with a wide grin on my face, eagerly waiting for the announcement for the next book in the series. For starters, though the book was a second chance romance, Meghana as always brought about a sly twist to the story with 'Scott's character, and Brandon played that role to perfection, making him like Scott equally. Then we also have the whole story arc for Kellan. I didn't think I could like anyone as much as I have always liked Brandon (Even Linden now actually), but Kellan will grow to give a very tough competition to Brandon, and that's something even Jennifer sees and Daphne even for her age, actually understands. As this series continues, I can see a lot of family-friends drama and that will be the real beauty and uniqueness of this series. And when all these characters get together, they bring about so much joy, and humor, especially with the history they share (covered in the Love Connection Series). I love each and every one of them, and even Linden has changed and finally I see him seeing Brandon as a friend - something I had always wished for. And even Sabrina is a nice character, and right for Brandon at this stage of his life. Though I will always be a fan of Brandon and his Gem, I still believe Sabrina can give him the future that he always wished for. Amazing story with right amounts of laughter, joy, angst and romance. Five sizzling stars for this.
This is my first book by Meghana Sarathy so did not know the back story of Brandon but it did not stop me from enjoying this second chance romance.
When Brandon returns to Seattle he wants to make changes to his life - get married have children all the things he thought he would have with Gem his first love but although they have a unique bond that nothing can break Gems love lied else well.
When Brandon bumps into a little girl called Clara and then meets her mum Sabrina he thinks fate has stepped in especially with the pull he feels towards this woman as if he knows her but can’t place where - Sabrina is hurt that her childhood first love does not recognise her.
Brandon and Sabrina’s story is all roses and when another secret is revealed will this spell the end once and for all for these 2
"Everlasting Connections is a spin off to the Love Connection series. Meghana is back with a mind-blowing and addictive story about second chances. The plot was so engaging that I finished it in a row.
Brandon is back on the block. He came back to his hometown and never expected to come across with Sabrina. Hot, good-looking, and charming. Sensual and a total heart breaker. When he run into Sabrina, who turned out to be his childhood friend and past crush. The feelings are still there. He set a plan to win her heart back again.
Prepare yourself for a rollercoaster of emotions. A marvelous second chance romance with an unexpected twist. Funny, exciting and hilarious. I highly recommend you this story. The plot was so well-developed. The characters interactions were hilarious and splendid.”
Finally another book based on the characters of Love Connection series. I was so eagerly waiting for it and this book was so WORTH the wait! Brandon was being so ...Brandon and stealing my heart all over again. Despite all his mistakes in the past, it's impossible to not fall for this guy and his antics. And he gives it all too woo his long-lost childhood friend and his first crush. And not-so-surprisingly, I loved him as Scott too, and the way he could relate to Rina and win her heart without even meeting her in-person. This book has everything that makes for a perfect entertainer. I loved all interactions between our other Love Connection characters - especially Linden. I can't wait for the other books in this series. 5 stars and more...
Brandon has returned to Seattle looking for a fresh start and hoping to find love. His last attempt at love left him with a broken heart when she chose another, but he knows there is someone for him and now he just needs to find her.
Sabrina has not had an easy time when it comes to love but her daughter makes it all worthwhile. Although the surprise reunion with her first love Brandon shows her that love is not in the cards for her she is willing to be friends but Brandon has other plans and is prepared to use all his charm to convince otherwise.
What a fun story this turned out to be as humorous banter, great characters and surprises all combine.
This author is back and better then ever. This second chance romance will leave you begging for more and swooning for Brandon. She brings Brandon back and he’s better Han ever. The way she portrays him, uses the existing characters to draw you in, and lets you believe chances do exist, regardless of the circumstances.
Brandon is back. He’s back to get the one he left behind. But he is in for surprises and things he never expected. Sabrina, Brandon and all the past characters are in for a fun ride. Hold on to your hats! It’s a wild ride!!
You don’t have to have read the other series but this book will make you want to know more about the secondary characters. They all have such fabulous backgrounds. the author does give you background so no worries there. I enjoyed this story! Brandon and Sabrina’s romance was fun and sweet. I love when there is history behind the characters love story. I’m excited to read the next book in the series. This story is one of those that kind of has you at hello! Funny, romantic and will hold your attention. Great Sunday read!! Loved it.
This is the first in a new series from this talented author. Brandon is back in his hometown, and the first person her sees is Sabrina, who was a childhood friend, and someone that he used to have a crush on. This is a well written story which is humorous, and with witty banter, and unexpected twists which had me totally enthralled throughout this addictive page turner. I recommend for all readers.
