What a perfect summer time read! This was entertaining enough to keep the pages turning, but also light enough to be able to kick back, relax, and just enjoy a good story. I truly enjoyed watching Theia and Marco's story unfold. Theia was a strong female lead, which I can always appreciate, and it was also nice to see a major hunk like Marco with a soft side. And hello--a man who not only loves to cook, but cooks well? Sign me up! I also really enjoyed all of the antics that go with getting a la ...more

For those who follow me, they know how much I totally love Debbie Mason. Her books always make me feel!

Sometimes I'm happy, other times I want to yell at the characters. But in the end, she always leaves me satisfied. What more could you ask for in an author?

We are heading towards the finish of the Harmony Harbor series. Not to worry the author is good at surprising you with a fun novella story here or there for h

4 star review of Barefoot Beach (Harmony Harbor #8) By Debbie Mason

Debbie Mason is a new author to me. I didn’t realise that this was book 8 in the series and although it can be read as a stand alone it may be beneficial to read the previous books in the series as I think it will make the read more enjoyable.

It appears that the people of Harmony Harbor have decided that Theia Lawson should be next to find happiness. Marco DiRossi is a firefighter and he is determined to best the nosy matchmaker

Another phenomenal read from a talented author! With small-town charm, a tight-knit community, an emphasis on family, and the Gallagher family’s ephemeral matriarch and her feline familiar, Simon, it’s the perfect setup for a heartfelt storyline. Add to that drama, danger, surprises, lies and betrayal, and this book kept me glued to its pages from beginning to end.

Barefoot Beach has just the right mix to make it the perfect escape read and the book to pack on your next vacation. Full of poignant

Nobody can get under my skin, quite like Debbie Mason. Her appeal is more subtle, but no less powerful. Barefoot Beach takes the long route to a heart. Theia is in need of some tough love, but what she gets is a good does of matchmaking from the town locals. Marco has a plan that could blow up in their faces or run away with their hearts. Mason turns summer lovin' into captivating reading that tempts the body and touches the heart.

Barefoot Beach is full of love, surprises, drama & family. The characters are well written & mesh together perfectly. Small town living was well documented from the gossipy women’s club to the intrusive matchmakers. This is an entertaining clean romance that brings family love, history & drama into the forefront. It grabs your attention from the first page & keeps you involved until the end.

Marco wants to find his significant other but something holds him back. Until he meets hi

A delightful small town romance that will steal your heart this summer, you are sure to fall in love with Debbie Mason’s enchanting new novel, Barefoot Beach.

As soon as Theia Lawson sets foot in Harmony Harbor, the local matchmakers all have one mission in mind: to set her up with a suitable bachelor and have her walking down the aisle before the end of the summer. Everybody loves weddings at Harmony Harbor and the majestic Greystone Manor is always the perfect location for memorable celebration

So many feels! Barefoot Beach by Debbie Mason is the eighth installment of Harmony Harbor which follows the story of one family in a small town. I’ve enjoyed every minute of this series, but let me tell you something….I loved this one! Marco and Theia’s story is aching sweet and super steamy from page one. I’ll even admit to shedding a tear or two for this couple and their pli

Harmony Harbor #8, As always the blurbs of these books only cover part of the story, and that's because there is always so much story. I have read all the previous books and I don't think this would be a good stand alone I think it could be done but because all the drama with the manor and the huge family it might lose some people. I can't get enough of it, I freakin' love this series so I would recommend reading all the books. It's a heartfelt small town romance with enough family dr

BAREFOOT BEACH, the eighth novel in the popular Harmony Harbor series by Debbie Mason, is a book of “so manys”. So many characters, so many secrets, so many plot twists and so many delights!

I have loved the Harmony Harbor series full of family with all of the craziness involved, one determined (long passed) matriarch of the family who is dedicated to seeing her descendants happily wed, quite a few long-buried secrets that slowly make their way to the surface and an enemy to all that this family holds dear is lurking in the wings. Now tell me – what is not to love about that? It feels as if we are nearing the ending of this series, and I will be sorry to

Barefoot Beach was my first read by author Debbie Mason. This book is being released by Forever (Grand Central Publishing) on 06/04/19. A huge thanks to NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Barefoot Beach by Debbie Mason was a new author and series for me. I enjoyed the book and while I had not read any of the previous books, I did not find the story was difficult to follow.

I absolutely loved Barefoot Beach! There were plenty of funny moments as well as a lots of mystery and suspense. My favorite element of course is the romance. I loved how much fun Theia and Marco had together! The fact that it starts out as him getting on her nerves, then turns into a fake relationship, then they start to want more is just so enjoyable. Not to mention Marco is definitely swoon worthy! It adds even more to his appeal that he likes Theia for her strengths, determination, and exact ...more

Every time I read a book in this series I fall in love with it all over again. I just love the characters to pieces. It makes me wish I could visit Harmony Harbor. I loved Marco and Theia. It may have started out as pretend in their minds, but there was no way the chemistry was going leaveit that way. Marco is a delicious fireman and he has many swoon worthy moments. Then Theia shows you the inner strength and the beauty of girl power. Though her reasons for why she is at Greystone Manor aren't ...more

There were a few times in the beginning I had to sort through who was who and how they related to each other.

Barefoot Beach, the 8th book in the Harmony Harbor series is another wonderful book by Author Debbie Mason! This book is full of secrets, lies, love, backstabbing, jealousy, spirits, revenge and Happily-Ever-Afters.

It tells the tale of Theia Lawson, a strong, smart, former Navy pilot, who is staying in Harmony Harbor until her plane is cleaned after a mishap…a mishap that handsome firefighter Marco DiRossi is only partially responsible for.

Thiea is a pilot who is in town with an agenda. It's right in the middle of wedding season and it seems like everyone is trying to be a matchmaker. Marco is a town local and a fighter and he's looking to get everyone off his back and they make an agreement to look like they are dating so no one bothers them. Problem is its hard to keep their hearts out of the matter.

I should start by saying this was the first book I have read from this series and from this author. I don't think that interfered with my following the storyline, but I wasn't as invested with the secondary characters as I probably would have been had I read the previous 8 books.

I knew in the first couple of pages that I was really going to enjoy this book. When the male character repeatedly knocks the heroine on her butt with a fire hose, you know you're in for a fun ride!

A delightful summer romance to read, entertaining even in times when there was tension in addition to a touch of the supernatural and suspense .

Marco is the perfect firefighter hero, brave, loyal, beautiful and full of love to give, he only has a few panics that he will learn to face along with the determined and strong Theia.
