Jeremiah Taylor’s responsibilities as the new pack beta are crushing him, especially with the unpredictable mood shifts since his shaman-supplied bipolar meds ran out. It’s the combination for doing something stupid, like kissing the one woman he’s never let himself pursue—his best friend Raven Takahashi.

When Finn left the Red Rock pack, Raven’s on and off again fling took

Jeremiah is struggling with filling the shoes of the past pack beta, Finn. Living with being bipolar doesn’t help, especially when he can’t always get his meds. Not only does he not feel worthy to be beta, what could he possibly give to the one woman he secretly loves?

Raven has secrets, secrets that she fears could get her banished from the Red Rock pack, but her most deeply held secret are her feelings for Jer. Now her demons are coming back to haunt her and endanger not only her new pack, but

Forged Contracts is the third book in the Tribal Spirits series, and I would definitely recommend you read this as a series, rather than a set of standalones.

After reading the second book, I was invested in knowing more about Raven, and I found out! Her and Jer have watched each other from afar for way too long, but now it seems their time is on hand. The pack also faces a threat from the Coalition, whilst Raven faces a threat from her past. It's not all plain sailing for Jer either, as he is of

I was wondering how Raven would fare once Finn found his mate in the last book and left the pack. I was not disappointed by she and Jer's attraction that always seemed to be lingering in the background throughout this series. They deserved all the happiness, although at times the Author never let on completely that they would find it. I loved spending the day inhaling this story filled with super hotness between the couple with danger swirling all around them, eager to find out what would happen ...more

Throughout the Tribal Spirits series, I have liked Jeremiah Taylor’s character a lot. He also played a larger part in the previous book, Forged Decisions, and I was very excited to know his story in this book. Raven Takahashi, on the other hand, has never been a character that I really connected with. In fact, in the previous book, I thought she was more than just a little crazy. So, diving into Forged Contracts, I had mixed feelings about the main characters. Which makes me just all the more th ...more
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.

When Finn left, Raven's wall came down. She had been hiding behind that wall, and Finn, for years. Now that barrier is gone, Raven had to face just why she had been hiding, or rather WHO she had been hiding from. Jeremiah didn't want to be pack beta, but Sierra choose him and he would do his best. raven at his side would be a bonus, but would she be there, when she finds out his bi-polar meds are all gone? When Raven's

Finn Kelly had left over a month ago now and, even though she knew he wasn’t in love with her, his absence took away her feeling of safety and the distraction from her raw feelings for Jer when he left. Now every little sound or shadow unnerved her if she was alone. So she picked up more and more shifts at the bar to keep her calm and hold off the memories she had locked away 10 years ago. The bar door of Beaver Tavern creaked as Jeremiah Taylor, the handsome new Red Rock pack Beta, walked in. W ...more

Forged Contracts is the third book in the Tribal Spirits series from author Katherine McIntyre. It can be read as a standalone paranormal romance, although I do recommend reading the series from the beginning. This will help you to understand and appreciate the backstories, just know that it’s not mandatory.

Forged Contracts tells the story of Jeremiah Taylor and Raven Takahashi, and it begins about a month after th

Book three in the Tribal Spirits series a well written story that held my interest throughout. Raven Takahashi and Jeremiah/Jer Taylor are best friends until one night a kiss changes everything. This book has suspense, drama, danger, villains, kidnapping, a group of anti-shifter fanatics called the Coalition, a man trying to handle his bipolar ailment, and romance. I wonder if there are going to be more books in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily l ...more

Jeremiah and Raven were both wonderful characters who each thought they were broken. Jeremiah was bi polar and Raven dealt with her past. Trouble threatens their pack and these two shifters work together to try to head it off Lots of action, great chemistry and fantastic plot. Love this series and this book! Loved it!

This is a beautiful story of two "broken" people finding each other, in other than normal circumstances and coming together. This was a fantastic read, that was an adventure to read.
I received an advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a honest, unbiased review.

Strong women. Strong words.

Katherine McIntyre is a feisty chick with a big attitude despite her short stature. She writes stories featuring snarky women, ragtag crews, and men with bad attitudes—high chance for a passionate speech thrown into the mix. As an eternal geek and tomboy who’s always stepped to her own beat, she’s made it her mission to write stories that represent the broad spectrum of
