It was a good, quick read 📚, in part because I lived through the entire decade. I am taking part in a special all-'90s trivia night 🌙 on W, 08 Mai 2022 and I wanted to refresh myself. It is not limited to Pop Culture or perhaps everything in the latter half of the 20th century is bound up in Pop Culture. Hmm. Either way, it seemed comprehensive enough for me.

Where are Melrose Place, 90210, and Nickelodeon?! Is this a book about adults in the 90s or kids? Were there no toys, few videogames, and not very much music in the 90s? Not from what I remember! Maybe this author was sleeping the decade away. Not even "Everybody Loves Raymond" was covered, which I know was a big hit. The top TV shows listed are questionable; by whose standards are they tops? There's more politics here than pop culture. No parachute pants, mullets, or sagging? And c'mon, you can't skip Mrs. Doubtfire. Really?

I just borrowed this from the library. This looks like an interesting book to read and look through.

I like the fact that the highlighted what there the important shows and trends of that time. This book does make you feel nostalgic.
