I have now finished reading all 37 books in this series in paperback. Warlord of Antares ends with an epilogue from the author that makes it seem this is the end of the series. I have thought this since I purchased #37 in 1988 when it was published. But wait...
I wanted to upgrade the quality of some of the earliest books and looked at Amazon to see what was available. I was totally stunned to find out there are 15 more books available as e-books. I am ready to head into new territory as I start reading these last 15 books. I do not know if they are written by Kenneth Bulmer, the author of the first 37. No matter who wrote them, I am ready to enjoy the adventure.

If you are a John Carter of Mars fan or enjoy the "displaced person on another world" then this series is for you. The books run in long story arcs so you can read just a few to complete a plot line or go for the whole set. Akers creates a very complex world for the hero to adventure in. Recommended

The last of the books published originally in English. Other books were written in English by Ken Bulmer, the author, but were published only in German. Some of these are being released now in English as ebooks only.
