Yes I bought this for my daughter as we are huge Richmond fans. But what a job Rancey has done! The message in this book is so meaningful and true. A book for ALL ages.

A great story about valuing everyone for their own unique talents. I love the way the characters in this story come together to use their different abilities to help each other along. A great way to show children the value of respect and teamwork.

I love the way the Tiger tries to copy all of his friends but discovers that he is happiest being himself. The illustrations are gorgeous

Alex Rance played 200 games for Richmond and is one of the leagues greatest ever full backs to play the game. This book was no doubt made for Richmond supporters.

Tiger’s Roar is a great little story about persistence and the power of teamwork.
Tiger is the champion of the jungle, lounging at the top of a great tree until he’s blown from his perch and suddenly he finds himself unable to climb the tree again without the help of his friends. Along the way he learns about recognising one’s own strengths, as well as the strengths of his friends, and using all of them to his advantage.
This gorgeous illustrated children’s book is perfect for teaching young children about the benefits of teamwork and perseverance. It’s message, while simple and easy to understand, is lovely in its’ simplicity, and children will enjoy looking at the bright and engaging illustrations.
(And any Richmond fans will doubly enjoy this for it being written by one of their Premiership players, too.)
It was a genuine delight to read this book, and I know that many children and families will enjoy the positive message it conveys.
