Worship As David Lived It

Rate this book
That David was a deeply religious man and an overt worshiper of God is confirmed in all strata of his kingdom. Nothing was undertaken without inquiring of the Lord, and the priests of prophets show up everywhere. David worshiped God publicly, privately, and practically. God was the center of his life in the solitude of his evenings, and in the hustle of his daytime activities. He worshiped God on the battlefields and in the bazaar, for David did not separate his life into the secular and the sacred; all of life was sacred to David and his response to that sacredness was the worship of God. David was a lover of God who sought to keep his expressions of love fresh, vital and varied. The more David worshiped God, the more he knew Him and loved Him.
