I am total trash for the amnesia shtick and always will be. And I am tickled pink that romance authors are still pillaging that old well with their writing buckets like like it’s the 1990’s. And for that, I thank you, Kylie Scott.

Well, I liked the blurb and story was just captured me at first pages. There was no long explanations or long emotional dilemmas! It started with first encounter our hero and heroine after their messy breakup! Our heroine Clementine ( yeap she is totally darling 😊)had amnesia which helped her starting over with her life and rethinking what she did wrong with her relationship.

Love and life sure can be scary. But not living your best life, not loving as hard as you can…what a terrible waste that would be. And the man standing in front of me is the best of everything.

I found myself loving this story from the very beginning. Second chance romances are one of my favorite tropes, and Kylie Scott took this trope and added a cool twist that I have only ever encountered in one other story years ago. Three months after a mes

Is the before me or after me a better me?

I’ve spent more of my life as the after me than the before me. I had a major car accident in my late teens that left me with a similar brain injury to Clementine, the main character in Repeat. This is the first time I’ve realised this and I’m surprised to realise that I still wonder if the before accident me was a better me than the current me. If you ask my family or friends, they claim they love both me’s but I know deep down, my family would have happi

A solid second-chance romance.

Our poor heroine wakes up in the hospital with amnesia after a vicious attack and robbery. She is trying to figure out who she was before this all happened so she goes into a tattoo shop where she realizes she got her tattoo done. Her ex-boyfriend was the tattoo artist, but she has no idea who he is. And, that's how we get started on this book.

She has the kind of amnesia where she remembers how to do daily things, like brushing her teeth, but doesn't remember much o

This was absolutely fantastic, I loved it so much! What a great audiobook, I love Andi Arndt's voice , she is one of my top favorite narrator and this make the story even better! The plot was original and unique and the characters lovable.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. The beginning was a bit slow moving and it took awhile (about 30%) before I become fully engaged, but once that happened, I fell in love with the character and their unique love story. I also appreciated that the amnesia plot-line was creatively written and lacked the usual clichés so common with this trope. That said, there were times when some "suspension of disbelief" were required but not enough for it to hamper the story for me. All in all, Repeat

“Love and life sure can be scary."

Repeat is a beautiful contemporary romance by one of my all-time favorite authors Kyle Scott. After a traumatic accident, Clementine Johns is researching her life. Through her investigation, she reenters the life of her ex-boyfriend, Ed. Clementine remembers nothing and Ed remembers everything. Imagine having the opportunity to repeat a stage in your life but this time you are a completely different person.

The ending felt rushed. But guess it wasn't a big deal. Enjoyable and interesting read.
It was also different from any other amnesia books I've read before. I was expecting flashbacks and partial return of memory from a heroine, but got none of that here. And I can't help but wonder... if I lost all my memory tomorrow, what kind of person would I be "the second time around"? :D

Meh. I’d probably rate this a 2.5.

The heroine and the hero break up over a misunderstanding and then she’s attacked and loses her memory. It’s been like 3 months (?) or so since their breakup and he was supposedly so in love with her he wanted to marry her and yet he went on dates a week after they broke up. There’s no details as to whether he kissed or slept with these women either, which is a huge mistake on the authors part. She should have clarified if anything happens with OW. Anyway, if th

It feels like such a long time since I read a Kylie Scott book and this one was so much fun.
Amnesia is always entertaining when done right IMO (and this story certainly was).

Clementine and Ed's journey was not only one of rediscovery but also one of new beginnings and the narrative here kept me heavily invested in the storyline as well as intrigued with observing their romance blossom again

All the love for this audible release. This really is the best encapsulated, standalone romance I’ve read in an age. It’s an unusual story which is part of the strength because unlike most romance, it wasn’t a familiar storyline. The characters are equal measures of feisty, stubborn, loyal and caring and I loved them both very quickly. There's a great suspense element in this book two but it doesn't overpower.

I picked this up a few months back when I was listening to more of my books on audio than actually reading physical copies. I had heard great things about Kylie Scott and I was dying to read something of hers. So when I stumbled across Repeat on Audible Escape, I knew that I had to have it!

This book includes all of my favorite tropes. If you read the description, then you know that Clem was violently attacked causing her to lose her memories. That's right - the famous amnesia trope! The atta

So good! I don’t think I’ve read a story quite like this. It was like a second chance but with its unique twist. It was well written especially with the mystery aspect even though I did guess right. Loved the relationship between the MC I think the author paced their relationship well considering their situation. I especially enjoyed how the whole focus was on the main couple no unnecessary drama. Overall a great start to my new book year. My first book by Kylie Scott and not my last.

Here it is my first favorite book of the year.

And it is audio book!

It is no secret I am not huge fan of audio books. But as every true book lover there are times when you can't carry a reader or paperback around or everyday chores become more bearable with books and it is easier to survive the day knowing that you don't have to stop reading that page turning book you can just switch to audio. Miracle. So in that sense I accepted it. You have to do what you have to do to get your next fix. You k

Clem (the one with no memory, and apparently never getting it back) is pretty likable. I really like her lack of filter.

Ed is likable too. I love the deep feeling, little talking, lots of scowling types with god-like bodies and giant dicks.

BUT. As some other readers said, the ending was waaaayyyyy too rushed. The evolution of the MCs' relationship was kind of slow, but mostly the right pac

There is a reason why I love Kylie Scott's books. I can always count of her to take me into an epic journey.
Kylie Scott for me is one of the OGs. Her books are one of the reasons why I love the romance genre so much!
Repeat is utter perfection!
I love a second chance romance and this one is definitely one I am going to reach for again. I loved the fact that the characters felt real...they weren't perfect but there were so many characteristics that made me fall for them.

Another unexpected story that I just loved and read in one day...something I both love and hate especially since I didn't want the story to end.

The story begins with Clementine going to Ed's tattoo shop to find out who did her tattoo. He's angry when he sees her and tells her to get out. She's confused but goes forward with trying to find out about her tattoo. Of course, he was the one who did it...that and a lot more.

He finds out she was assaulted and has amnesia and she's just lookin

Everything about this romance felt unique and heartfelt and sexy and wonderful. I read it in one sitting and couldn't get enough. I always find Kylie's heroines so damn lovable and Clementine was a exactly that--lovable and a complete breath of fresh air. Her connection to Ed, and the entire way their romance came together, gave me such life. I also loved the added suspense element that kept me glued to the pages, desperate to know what was going to happen. Definitely an intoxicating
I didn't really find this one interesting or enjoyable. Everything about it was so-so. I really disliked how they just fell into a relationship, it took any excitement out of it.

Repeat. Oh gosh. Repeat. Do you know what? I actually can’t really form words yet.

I will say this. Kylie Scott was one of the first authors I ever read in this genre. Lick and the Stage Dive series stole a bit of my heart. But Repeat? This was on a whole new level. This level was paved by Kylie Scott’s words, her world building, and her soul crushing mother jhfjkbkjhbe angst. This was a 5 star read for me by Chapter two, and that says something, coming from someone who barely reads anymore and

I don't think I have much to say about this book other than it was really sweet and occasionally funny with a tinge of suspense all throughout. A very straight-laced story, and it is really all said in that blurb already, so all in all, not bad. Not bad at all.
