An Undiscovered Past. A Feud Between Families. A Unity Filled with Hope.

Harper Blake thought she had found where she belonged. A family who'd accepted her, a safe home that would protect her, and a love for the boy who saved her from death. Her life at Sacred Moon Shelter for Endangered Wolves was everything she could have asked for.

All of that changes with a spark of a fire and a confrontation that leaves her on the verge of death once more. After another close call with the Angel of Death, Harper soon discovers that everything she thought was true, was woven in lies.

The deceit puts a heavy burden on Harper's heart, and when she finally realizes who her true mate is, she's unsure which path to choose. Or if she wants to.

As much as Harper needs time to figure things out, the tension between packs grows day by day, to the point where it's time for her to give up on her Wolf Tamer title and become a Wolf Seeker.

Her first quest? Bring the four Cardinal Packs together, and that will put her to the test, leaving her with the task of deciding whether love is worth the risk of losing it all.

For the sake of unity, power, and love, Harper is ready to protect the only pack she's ever known.

Good reading

Despite a lot of errors which could be rescued from a good deal of editing. A good standard wolf shifter read althouh it does lack originality.

YES! It would seem like my prayers have been heard, and the second book in this series is a lot better than the first one. This book picks up almost right where the first one left us. Harper is still not awake, but recovering from the fight, and her pack is (not so) patiently waiting for her to wake up. While she's unconscious she's dreaming of Carter, and the bond they used to have together as children. From her dreams she learns that Carter is her eternal Royal Mate, and not just in a way children dreams and imagine things. Carter and Harper's mate bond was finalised. And to keep them safe, their Marks was hidden with magic when they had to go their separate ways. Since only Harper's memories were wiped, Carter remember everything. This can only mean one thing: when Harper was adopted by Dolly and Sam, Carter recognised her but didn't reveal his claim on her. Instead he stayed in the background and let her live her life. He even somewhat accepted that Ian was taking his space, as long as it made Harper happy. This also explains why he was dead set on having alone time with Harper, and got really grumpy when anyone tried to butt in.

After Harper wakes up she and Reika (her inner wolf) are eager to learn more about their past. But at the same time, the life she thought she knew have been turned upside down, which makes her second guess where she belongs. Luckily, the pack are so devoted to her, that they don't hesitate to make her feel right at home. And just like that, finally she knows where she belongs. While Harper is happy with the changes, Ian is struggling with coming to terms with the fact that he shares his mate with Carter. Ian's mood swings made him loose so many points in my book. Because in the first book he was telling Harper how many female shifters have multiple mates, he even said it could happen to her and he would be okay with it. Yet, when it happens he is the complete opposite. And not for any good reason. The only good thing I can say about this is, that no matter how much Harper tries to convince him that she has enough love for all of them, it doesn't help. But when Carter steps in and help in a different way, it looks like it changes things for the better.

Finding out that Muffin, Harper's adopted kitten, is a shifter Familiar was surprising - even though it was clear she's a supernatural being, as she haven't grown at all since Harper was a child - and I hope to get to know her better. But the best thing hands down was the chapters from Carter and his wolf's point of view. A long with more inputs from Reika, that made this book even better. In this book more of their world is revealed, including their really interesting hierarchy, which makes me looking forward to reading the next book - even if the plot twist and cliffhanger was predictable. The only thing that makes me not rate the book 5 hearts (which I would give the plot alone), is the relationships. In the first book Harper was all about Ian, and in this one she's all about Carter. That leaves her other mates on the sideline, which irritates me so much. I want to get to know them better. What's more is, I want their bond with Harper to be more than just words, and right now I just don't feel it. Here's hoping this will change in the next book!

Harper and Carter recover from their battle with Rogan at the end of book 1. Since Harper is now officially a wolf-shifter, there is a lot for her to learn. While it was good for things to be explained, there was a chapter there that just went on and on with the explanation and didn't feel very organic. Just when Harper gets comfortable with her spot in the pack, the "bad wolves" come after her again and we get another (albeit shorter) explanation from the Moon as to why.

So this book was good in that we finally get some answers as to what the heck is going on, but it was done in a lecturing kind of way. This book also served to set things up for the RH, which makes me hope that things will at least get more interesting on that front in the next book. I'm on the fence whether I want to find out now or put it off until later.

Ok well this series has definitely picked up and kept up the with the reveals we got on the tail end of book 1. I'm actually a little overwhelmed by all the new information that was dumped all over us here in book 2. Not a lot is making sense really. This series... I feel like it is just barely hanging on for me. With everything that is happening.. I'm just not 100% committed to working for this, but I feel like I should give this series just a little more time to pull this around.

Harper and Reika are finally one and all the boys secrets are out. It turns out Harper is fated to have more than one mate and it seems more than one are a prince. Harper gains all her memories back from childhood as well as gets a crash course on how the shifter world works. The goddess it seems has plans for Harper and Reika and her princely mates.. and now its time to set off and get work done.

I do enjoy the fact that the author has established the relationships that Harper has so far by creating previous relationships.. even if Harper hasn't remembered them. I'm really interested to see how her relationships with her other guys are going to progress. I'm down for book 3 I guess... Eff it sign me up.

Well that’s a huge revelation. I wouldn’t say this book end on a cliffhanger but it in ends in a way you know there’s going to be a huge information dump in the next book. There was quite a lot of information and background given in this book so I’m eager to see how more aligns with everyone’s backgrounds as well as their destinies. It’s clear the moon has a lot in store for them and I mean the fact that their relationship and Harper specifically will be responsible for keeping the shifter race Alive, I mean no pressure. I’m so glad Harper finally gets to meet all her pack officially as both humans and in hr own wolf form. I also knew there was much more to Muffin than simply a tiny cat and that revelation while not super surprising, as I figured it out early on, was pleasing nonetheless. Hopefully in the next book Harper will finally get to meet her parents, though the way things are leaning it seems it’ll be awhile as harper has much to learn and has zero clue as to the power she holds and her own fate destined by the Moon. I think this series is getting better and I enjoyed the inclusion of Carters POV, we had Ian and Harpers POV in the first book so I hope this trend continues throughout as being inside their heads allows us to understand them more than just witnessing their words and actions. Looking forward to the next installment.

I had a lot of problems with this book. The first is how immature the guys are. Carter is 25-26? When he is speaking to his father at the end he sounds like a teenager.

I’m also left with some questions about the story line. In the first book the pack had to separate in December because Harper would go in to heat. This book is based around the month of December. Shouldn’t the pack have been drooling and lusting after her? Or did that change when she became mated?

So I am going to start off by saying there are a few things I didn't LOVE about the book, but there were a lot I still loved. I will try to touch on most of them for you!
Harper almost died, but her pack stepped up, bonding themselves to her. She has blood family still alive (yay!) But she still can't see them (boo). Those packmates, all want a piece of Harper pie. Harper, who has had 1 boyfriend and lover her entire life, ia totally on board and jumps into the poly situation pretty easily. Usually, girls going from monogamy to polygamy have some kind of doubts or reservations or at least an adjustment period but Harper just dives right in! I mean, I appreciate her confidence, but I feel like the story was missing some internal conflict for Harper, and in it a chance for her character to grow.
Speaking of her poly life, we got a chance to meet the other packmates in human form! Yay for hunky men! I like how distinct they are those the twin thing is a little strange and I hope they get some individuality and and maybe some 1:1 time in the limelight. One thing I noticed, everyone is wicked tall in this universe and sometimes it seems like every doorway would need to be about 6 inches taller than they are now to accommodate their heights. (Just an observation I found interesting. )
We also got to meet another powerful female wolf shifter who hopefully can be a BFF for Harper in this wolf eat wolf world, because every strong beautiful Wolf Shifter needs a BFF for when the packages get a little too stifling, which with that much heat, things are definitely get hot!
I was sad we didn't get to see Christmas im this book but hopefully we will get a flashback or another awesome celebration to get ALL the details on later!
I love that Ms. Wilson leaves her characters typically safe or alive and with some big news dropping right before the end of the books. This book has some big reveals at the end, though some were a little flat, since it seemed like a repeat from Wolf Tamer, but we will see how they change the story in Wolf Lover.
Here are my biggest questions: Why was Ian allowed to be human during the day but the others weren't? Why did no one recognize Muffin for what she was? Does Carter remember everything as to why they had to live the way they did? Is the Moon a religion thing, or a politics thing, or a bit of both? Why has no one sat Harper down and told her EVERYTHING she needs to know about pack politics or shifter-isms or even clearing up things? There should have atleast been a PowerPoint or a boring video she had to watch called "So You Are a Wolf Shifter: Everything You Need to Know After Your First Shift". Who are the real bad guys? Where did they come from? Why aren't the powerful wolves there taking care of the crap?
But I swear I loved the book!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Harper Blake loved her life at Sacred Moon Shelter for Endangered Wolves. She had Ian and her wolves but an attack on the sanctuary and her 'death' changed everything. Ian is her mate but not her only mate. Harper's memories of her childhood were wiped away and with them the memory of her eternal Royal Mate. The Sanctuary isn't what she believed and the wolves are so much more. Harper's destiny is much larger than she realized. She has a power given to her by the moon that no other has and this puts her and her pack in danger as tensions escalate.

I am conflicted about this book. I liked it, yet I didn't. I love Muffin, everything about her. I love Reika and Carter's wolf and the back and forth with their human. I like the wolves/guys and their emerging personalities. I enjoy Harper's flashbacks. I am fine with Harper herself, so I'm not sure why I am not connecting with this book. The wolf politics and the First and Second Gen didn't keep my attention. The constant squabbling between Ian and Carter irritated me. I can't imagine a successful RH with the guys always rubbing each other the wrong way even when they are getting along. This book felt more like a set-up to facilitate the main storyline. I was looking forward to Christmas and spending quality time with the pack but it was glossed over, no true details. Even the big reveal at the end wasn't a surprise. I'm looking forward to book 3 and hoping that this series gets back on track for me.

I love how this series is playing out. Harper and her pack are recovering from the fight in Wolf Tamer. Harper is starting to remember some of her past that includes Carter. I really like how we learn more about each guy in the pack and I can't wait to learn more about the twins, Levi and Damien as this book leans more towards Harper and Carter's story like Wolf Tamer leaned more towards Harper and Ian's story. I also love the different personalities of the wolves and their people. Carter's wolf is hilarious. The strength within the pack and their relationships with each other are something to be admired too. I really love how Harper's journey is progressing so far and how all the emotions and revelations throughout are coming together. Beautifully and creatively written as all of Yumoyori's books are full of drama, action, emotions, and all the things in between. I absolutely loved reading more of the backstory of the wolves and the packs and some of the twists that seem to be coming in the future. In true Yumo fashion there is a cliffhanger but its not a rip your heart out, throw your phone/kindle type cliffy. but a more gradual gentle one. I totally enjoyed this series so far and I can't wait to see what is going to happen with Harper and her pack in the future!

Love this series more than i thought!

In this book for many chapters we get to see Harper connect with Carter. There were so many good moments.
ANd then we get to see her connect with Ian again who was afraid to lose her.
AND, we get to see the relationships forming with her and the other guys.

the only thing that i dont care for anymore is the LONG internal convo going on between Harper and her wolf Reika. Like i get how it is useful in the story, but when there is TOOOO much of it it annoys me and I glance over it.

Also, there was tooooo much backstory about the background of the packs, and i get how a little of that is helpful, but once it goes on toooo long I skip it. I dont care about 1st gen alpha stuff or second gen, etc. It's cool how she made up this whole world and rules, but reallly most readers dont care about all the detailed aspects.

THe only action that goes on is some pack memembers try to kidnap her at a story and she is saved, and then again in the woods she is saved by Carters dad.

overall i generally like the series, but i need it to be more of a page turner.

Okay, I'm WEIRD. I realize this now. Otherwise, why do I keep starting series by this author when I know by now that I usually enjoy the first book and then get disappointed as the series progresses??

It's my own fault by now.

Yet, I will still try to finish this series.

Another fantastic book written by this author. We learned a bit more of each characters from this book but it isn't enough. I like how accepting Harper is with her current situation between the bond with her men especially when she handled the situation between Carter and Ian. Carter was mature enough to love her from a far even when it pains him. He also was able to show maturity and that he cares for Ian despite their rivalry. At the same time, Ian has been growing up as well from how he chose to face his dilemma and that he was able to verbalize his fears and insecurities to both Harper and Carter.

I can't wait to read the fantasy of Harper and to read more interactions with her other men. The interactions with their wolves were funny as well and even with their humour of their counterparts, they are supportive and share their wisdom.

As usual, the author dropped a bomb near the ending and it continued till the last page which was a definite cliffhanger. I can't wait to find out more about their past and who the real enemy is.

Spoiler free, as always! I admit – one of the things I thoroughly enjoy about this author’s series is how they pick up so immediately after the previous one. For someone like me, who enjoys being able to read them one right after the other, it makes it SO easy to just pick them right up again. The first in this series ended with so many heavy questions – I knew I needed to read this one right away! I wasn’t disappointed. Some of the questions were answered, and more importantly, the dynamics of the characters were detailed so much more intimately, something that I find so important as a reader. In this book, you learn more about the world and how it’s organized, pack structure, and also about the characters themselves – the journey continues to draw you in, perhaps not with as much action as some of her other books, but with a healthy dose of mystery and excitement, and a very interesting take on shifter dynamics. All in all a very entertaining book, and one that left me dangling on the hook for the next one!

Sorry but I’m not going to give away any spoilers of any kind because I’m not the type that does that.
So this is all I’m going to say about this book and that is I thought it was freaking amazing.
This book basically picks up where book one leaves off, I absolutely enjoyed the story-building and the world created here.
And I liked that the story is finally taking shape and the reverse harem is slowly starting to take form.
Yumoyori Wilson definitely knows how to hook her readers and take them on an emotional exciting ride.
So yes I most definitely recommend this book to anyone who’s interested in crawling into this story and getting lost within its pages.
But if you haven’t read the first book then I highly suggest that you do otherwise you’ll get probably get a little confused as to who’s who and what’s what.

Yowza!!!! Be warned....this one ends with one doozy of a jaw dropping cliffhanger! I for one am on pins and needles to see what happens next. Our beloved Harper starts to come into her own....upon waking in wolf form she starts learning what that's all about. Not to mention the magic she holds within her Royal self. Secrets magically withheld from her own memories start coming through bit by bit....yet all is not quite revealed. People are after Harper, Carter, Ian and their pack....a few kidnapping attempts and a surprise or two.....just wait til you learn about Muffin the wonder cat 😊. Family is reunited and we are on the verge of finding out all kinds of fun stuff. This book is a great read, lots of fun, hunky guys, action, suspense, magic and intrigue. I can't wait for the next book to come WOLF LOVER! I don't think this author has written any books yet that I haven't LOVED!!

My eternal love

In Wolf Seeker we find out more about Carter and Harper's past and more background information about the 1st and 2nd gen Alpha's. Harper reconnects with her Royal Mate, Carter. Ian deals with some insecurities at this point because he's afraid Harper's feelings for him will change. Once she assures him that won't happen, things fall back into place. I love how Harper is a no nonsense heroine, who just owned up to the fact that she will have multiple mates.

Even after Rogan's death, there is still danger lurking everywhere. There are men willing to go through great lengths in order to retrieve the blade from Harper.

That ending though!!! I always knew there was something going on with Muffin. And then there is the revelation about Ian's mother. Yup, I can't wait to see where this goes in Wolf Lover!

This is a great series so far, it’s action packed and full of surprises. It started off right where book one left off and hooked me right away again. The characters are great, the dynamics within the pack and between Ian and Carter are hilarious and fun. Harper is strong and funny, Yumoyori Wilson is fantastic at making her leading ladies humorous, young at heart and relatable. I very much love all of Yumo’s writing and this series is no different. I look forward to finding out what happens next after that bomb was dropped at the end that blew my mind. There was a ton that happened in this book. Between Muffin, Carter’s dad and step mom, Ian the Moon and all the revelations going on I’m going to be re-reading both books one and two until I get my hands on Wolf Lover!

In the first book you really didn't get the RH feel. But in this book you do start to feel that this is a RH.

What i don't get and like is this:

Book 1: Ian was the boyfriend and mate and he was everything = No RH feel.

Book 2: Carter is the royal mate, everything with him is SO MUCH better and SO MUCH more intense. I know Carter is the alpha, but i feel like the heroine doesn't see all her "mates" as equals and that annoys me to death. I don't like RH books, where I feel like the heroine likes or feels things that are so much better with one of her guys than the others.

I do like the concept of the series and the characters (except the heroine who are startting to piss me of, with the whole "everything is better with Carter")

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

Cliffhanger got me like.

What an amazing ending to this book I absolutely adore everything about it. I was very skeptical before reading the first book because usually novels of that length usually aren't good and I feel that they are usually fast-paced, but this book was very refreshing and had lots of detail!

The character development in the series was phenomenal and I couldn't put it down. One thing I would change is the endings because they seem a little rushed and sometimes forced but it was not a big deal to me because I really enjoyed everything else about the book and the characters journey as a whole.

4.8/ 5 STARS!!!!!!

Another great book

Yumoyori Wilson keeps getting better and better. I love this series Each time I read a new book of hers it becomes my favorite. I can decide which series l love more. Glad I don’t have to choose.

I really enjoy this world. I love how strong Harper is but also how she is surrounded by caring guys that have her back.

I love Carter and what he gave up for her and nod he can show his true feelings.

I definitely recommend this and can’t wait for the next one.

Great sequence to Harper story. In this book we get to know the guys, besides Ian, better and they all grown more as a Pack.
The useful way the flashbacks were placed helped in making the fluidity of the storytelling a beautiful thing to behold. They were in the right time and helped the understanding of the characters’s past and the plot.
I can’t make a review of Yumoyori books without talking about the animal companion. Muffin was a star in her on right and I am curious about what will happen next for all of them including the fluffy familiar.

Amazing!

I don’t know how it’s possible, but every book I read by Yumo is better than the last! I think this might be my favorite series so far! I love that we got to see all the guys in human form and found out so much more of the pack dynamics. We learned SO much more about everyone’s past, but especially Harper and Carter. And now Ian! Holy cliffhanger, but I’m so happy about who her second Royal Mate is. I don’t know how I’m supposed to wait for February to get more of everyone! Absolutely recommend this series and all of her others!

Harper’s story just keeps getting better. I loved the first book, but this one is even better.
As per usual, Yumoyori managed to draw me in from the beginning, and then take me on an emotional rollercoaster. And the ending was definitely a cliffhanger that I cannot wait to see how things progress.
I loved finding out more about Harper’s guys. This book focused more on Carter, and I appreciated the opportunity to understand him a little better. I can’t wait for the chance to find out more about each of the men.

This story is a shifter lover's dream come true. It's full of new found love, family, and acceptance. While struggling with their roles within the pack, Harper and her men show case brilliant and heartfelt characters that grow up more and more each day. While learning about her past and the shifter world, we begin to finally understand the corruption and hate that our team is fighting against, but there's still tons more to discover! Ending on a nail biting cliffhanger, I would definitely recommend this series to anyone that loves a spicy shifter romance with plenty of mystery!

Another one for the books ♡

Yumoyori has done it again.
I am amazed by the creative talent she possesses and her ability to create a story that you can fully immerse yourself in.
In Wolf Seeker, there are several important revelations regarding Harper, who she is and more about the role that the guys will play in her life.
There are two major surprises right at the end that leave you having and will ensure you want to read the next one.
Someone have a time machine so we can jump forward to February? 😉

Shifters and Magic Galore

We pick up after the events of book one with Harper still healing after pretty much dying. While she is out she gets some of her memories of Carter back meaning she now knows he is her mate too. This makes things interesting as they try to figure it all out while Harper is being hunted by the bad guys. Great world building with characters you can love. I can't wait to see what happens next. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
