College students falling in love.
Well, my age must be showing. I thought I was going to be reading a paranormal cougar shifter romance. No, the cougar here refers to older woman and younger man. She is 27 yr old student and he is 22 yr old student going to same college. I don't think she is old enough to be considered a cougar. After they both realize that they love each other there is a very happy ending.

Seriously... This girl is writing so fast that I'm having trouble keeping up with her. But don't get this the wrong way because I'm not complaining... I'm just making a statement.

The plot despite being short is amazing, very well written and has an important message for all of us. Time goes fast so you must enjoy every minute.
The Chartres shared a great chemistry and it was amazing to see the one of them was able to topple over their insecurities.
Love is important so you have to cherish it.

This story was just ok for me. It moved a little too fast for me to get a real feel of there connection. As I get older I find myself less tolerable of manwhores so his sexual prowess didn’t impress me. Austen also said that he never dated anyone in her sorority but turns out he had a fling with Cadence the year before. This is either an error or he lied to Samantha.

Sam's Meow.....
Never feel bad about your size, no matter what anyone tells you. And never assume a man is too young for you, he just might turn out to be much more mature than you give him credit for....Besides why should you be a Cougar just cause a woman is with a younger man, men can do it! I like the nickname anyway sounds sexy growwwl and purrrrr....LoL
That's what this short story is all about and boy does it bring it home for all to see.. Very entertaining!

Chantel Seabrook is one of the authors I can reliably count on for a fun bit of escapism in my romances. Sweet characters with a bit of steam to the story, perfect for a quick lunchtime or light afternoon read.
By their nature, the short story and novella-length stories tend toward insta-love, simply because of the lack of pages. This one is OK, since the two characters already have a relationship - BMOC football player Austen is crushing on his sister's older sorority sister, Samantha, a shy PhD student. They've already known each other a few years, and we meet them as the relationship starts to change, become more, instead of from their initial meeting. So, still moves very quickly, but in my mind at least, that's less "insta." You might be more irritated by the pacing than me.
Alternating 1st person POV. Biggest complaint is how quickly it moves, but it is a short story/novella after all. If I was really looking for deeper character development, I'd need more than 68 pages, I know. Still, it's a great escape. Good characters, who'd be fun to spend more time with (which is usually a good sign in a short story, right?), low drama, and a satisfying HEA with epilogue. No cliffhanger.
Would I read more by this author? Yes, Seabrook is a reliable author for a fast, fun romance, and I'd definitely read more. And this series? Yup to that too. I'm really enjoying the different Flirt Club series, all the different authors writing in the same world. They've been a lot of fun, and introduced me to some new authors in the process!

A sweet and steamy, college, older women and younger man.
Samantha at 27, is months away from graduating with her phd. Since a bad break up with her emotionally abusive boyfriend, she has devoted her time to her studies. Living in her Sorority house she is not in complete isolation. Her Sorority sister and friend Tilly keeps her involved.
Austen at 22, is a popular football player, with a player reputation. He is about to graduate with his teaching certificate. He has crushed on he sisters studious friend for the last year. Samantha keeps him at arms length. Tilly sees what is going on and helps her brother out by putting them together on a Charity Projects. A Haunted House to benefit the local Children's Hospital Cancer ward.
Austen jumps at the chance to work with Samantha and show her that he is more than his reputation. Austin quietly volunteers at the local Children's Hospital Cancer ward. He has developed and strong friendship with Henry, an orphan. He brings Samantha along on one of his visits. Samantha starts to let her walls down. She has a lot of baggage. Austen sees age as a number. Samantha see it as an obstacle.
Loved Austen. He is strong, patient and kind, and willing to fight for what he wants. Samantha, is a smart and dedicated women, with a lot of insecurities and trust issues. When she realizes what she really wants she goes for it. A fast paced and steamy story with a great 3 year later epilogue.

What a fun and sexy Halloween story! It is sweet, steamy and emotional! This is the story of Austen and Samantha. Austen is the typical jock in college, quarterback and playing the field; that is until he finds Samantha and discovers she is just what he has been missing. Samantha is in the last term of her PhD and has some severe self esteem and age issues. She is curvy and five years older then Austen. He doesn't have a problem with either issue, but Samantha sure does. She doesn't truly believe that a hot man like Austen would be interested in her. Working together to create a haunted room for the Children's Hospital Halloween Party, these two opposites find love, and what a match!
This book has all the feels and there is no way any reader will not fall in love with Austen, Samantha and Henry (a very special character). I loved the way that Austen kept reinforcing his attraction, lust and eventual love to Samantha. I also loved the cheerfulness of the story. I did have a small issue with Samantha, as I like my female needs to have more of a back bone and more confidence. This did not takeaway from the story, however; and it was the perfect sweet short holiday treat. If they other stories in this Halloween series are this wonderful, readers are sure in for a treat! i read this book as part of an arc program. This book is part of the Halloween Honeys series and features the romance between Samantha and Austen. Samantha is in the Mi Alpha Alpha sorority and they are doing a haunted house for charity. Samantha is older than the rest of the house and she doesn't date, she prefers to concentrate on her studies. When another sorority sister Tilly arranges for Samantha and her brother Austen to work together on a room, Austen thinks he can finally show Samantha how much he wants to be with her. Austen is a football player and is five years younger than Samantha and she thinks he is a player and while she is attracted to him, she doesn't want to date him. Austen volunteers at the children's hospital year round and when he was supposed to take Samantha out, he received a call about a little boy who was sick and asking for him. Austen took Samantha with him ti the hospital and she saw a new side to him. They begin to see each other and continue to work on the haunted house. Austen sets out to prove to Samantha he is ready to be serious about her and she has to trust he is genuine. I really liked this story. I loved Austen and thought he was a lot more than a jock. I thought he was mature and ready for a real relationship. Samantha had to learn she was beautiful and worth loving. Good one.

His curvy cougar is a novella that is a part of the Halloween honeys series. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book within half an hour and was satisfied throughout. His curvy cougar is the first book of Chantel Seabrook’s that I have read. I found her writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. This story is a little different to the other stories as the heroine is older than the hero.
After being hurt in the past, Samantha is wary of men and has her own insecurities. When Austen makes his interest in her known, Samantha tries to stay away. Austen wants Samantha. He loves the way she looks and the fact that she is five years older than him doesn’t bother him. He knows Samantha is the one for him. Trying to get Samantha to give him a chance isn’t easy.
The chemistry between Samantha and Austen is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I did want to shout at Samantha to give Austen a chance. That being said, I understood why she held off as long as she did. I loved Austen. His love for volunteering and Little Henry was nice to see.
I liked this story but the ending and epilogue was my favourite part. I had an idea where Henry would end up and I was so glad that I was right. The epilogue/three year’s later part of this story is super sweet.

This book is a 3 and half star. There are some heartfelt moments that the author has in the storyline but for the most part the story is pretty predictable.
Bookish curvy Samantha/Sam is finishing up her PhD and then its on to the real world. She’s a bit reserved and her self-confidence due to her weight is not high.
Austen hot football player who’s also a player. He also is more than just a good looking guy, he’s compassionate, protective and has a big caring heart.
There is some nice flirting and Austen is also very respectful of Sam despite wanting to rip her clothes off and get sweaty with her.
We discover some of the reasons for Sam’s body issues and Austen is sweet and tender with her and does his best to let her know he likes her just as she is.
Unfortunately for me this book is just like so many others with the curvy woman and hot hard-bodied guy. She’s shy, he pursues, they get together her insecurity rears its head she takes off and comes back only when she is validated to be worthy by the hot guy. Would be nice if she felt worthy all along and something else was driving the story other than her weight.

Chantel Seabrook wrote a delicious younger man, older woman romance. Samantha is a member of the Mi Alpha Alpha sorority at college. After a bad breakup, she has devoted herself to getting her PhD. Austen has a major crush on her and enlists his sister Tillie (Sam's sorority sister) in helping him win over Sam. Thanks to her ex and her mom, she has some serious insecurities. She is attracted to Austen but she thinks there is a no way a sexy football player could really be into her because of her weight and the age difference. Austen is 22 and she is 27. She assumes he is a player like all the other jocks. I absolutely loved this quick and steamy romance. Austen was such a sweet guy who truly cared for Sam. He was not your typical college jock. He took his studies seriously and volunteered at the children's hospital. Absolutely fantastic epilogue! A great read I highly recommend! 5 stars.

Samantha has her whole college life mapped out. She;s just this year from graduating. She;s stuck her head in the sand to stay up with her studies. Then her roommate volunteers her to help out on one room in the haunted house they will be in charge of. Then she finds out she;ll be working along withTillie;s brother, a jock and a 22 year old young man. Sam is 27. Austin has had his eye on Sam for a year and can;t get near her. So he latches onto helping with the haunted house room. Sam tries to keep him at arms length. Then Austin gets called to the local children;s hospital and he takes Sam with him. There Sam sees another side of Austin and faces a truth about reality.
Beautiful story of a man going after what he wants even in the face of that want trying her hardest to fight away.

Austen is the brother of Samantha’s best friend and roommate. He is a jock and could be considered a love them and leave them type of guy. When Samantha’s sorority is charged with creating a haunted house for charity, she is tasked with working with Austen and the chemistry between them is sizzling. Can Samantha get over the age difference and Austen’s seemingly playboy ways and see the real man underneath it all? If you are looking for an entertaining storyline with characters that are well developed and like a happily ever after, then this is the one to pick up.

A Hot sweet and steamy college romance older woman and younger guy. Sam is finally coming to the end of her learning years she's 27 and it's time to be responsible no matter how scared she is.

The jock with a reputation as a player and the studious girl with low self-esteem as pushed together planning a haunted house charity event. Can they both change their ways and accept change?
This is a romance book, after all, so of course they can. But as the hero says, actions speak louder than words, so you are going to have to read the book to see how they make it happen. I am certain you will enjoy the ride.
This is a short story with a Halloween theme. Both the story and the characters are well written and engaging. There actually is a small supporting cast as well that are better developed than is usually the case in short stories like this one. The story is fun to read and gives you a very nice HEA.

Another naughty but delectable addition to the Halloween Honeys stories!
Samantha is on her way to graduation and not looking for love or a one night hook up; her Ph.D. is too essential to derail her studies, coupled with the fact that her ex-left her insecure and untrusting.
Until Austen, her friend and sorority sisters brother are paired up to help with the upcoming Hunted house benefit, he is bound and determined to show her she is a whole lot more than she gives herself credit for, age really is just a number and that he is so much more than the player she perceives him to be!

I completely love this author!! I've read every one of her books and none have failed to disappoint. She pulls the reader quickly into her stories and you get completely absorbed in the romance.

Austen is the younger, great looking, more than a jock guy that has wanted her for awhile now. He interjects himself into her life & then sparks fly. The road to love isn't easy but they get there with heartwarming days & steamy nights. Definitely a recommended read.

I really enjoyed this steamy and very sweet story. It's a quick Halloween read with a curvy cougar and the king of the jungle. I really loved Samantha and Austen's story, which also included a sweet boy named Henry. Samantha is a little older than Austen but there are definite sparks between them. He is a football player and a frat boy that has a bit of a reputation as a player of the field. His sister just so happens to be Samantha's sorority sister. Samantha knows his reputation but little does she know what lays below the surface. This is a really good story! Definite worth reading!!!

His Curvy Cougar is a part of the Halloween Honeys series. I love how the author brought Austin and Samantha together and how she got the perfect balance of sex and the importance of other aspects to a relationship. I was also really impressed with how the author included the haunted house and how it was for charity but also took us to that charity and introduced us to those that the donations would be helping.
Lord it was really hard to try and say what I wanted to say without giving spoilers!!

I loved this story. Samantha is a 27 year old PhD student and Austen is a 22 year old frat/bad boy football player. Her sorority puts on a haunted house to benefit the local children's hospital where he volunteers. They end up working on a room together and he uses their time together to make a play for the woman he has crushed on for over a year. She is fraught with insecurities about the age difference and her curves. He helps her see how beautiful she is and they have a HEA.

I really liked this quick read. Samantha learns a lot about herself and I just loved Austen. Short, sweet, steamy, and emotional story.
Sam and Austen are good together. I think Sam learned never to judge a book by it's cover. Characters are likeable and described well.
An amazing story that is well written and captivating from first to last page. The story feels real and I like the community and the humour that is also in the story. The chemistry, passion, lust and love flows well of the pages.

This is a super quick read that’s essentially a sweet romance between a 27 year-old PhD student and the younger football player who pursues her. There’s a good balance of drama, angst and steam. I felt the characters were well developed and I enjoyed this couple’s journey to their HEA despite the shortness of the story.

He is younger than her. She has baggage from an abusive relationship and keeps to herself. He is a nice younger man and nothing like his reputation. They are both in college and about to graduate. He wants her but she has these walls up. He doesn't care that she is older. I love these older and younger relationships. This is exciting, emotional, surprising, suspenseful and so much more. This is the first book by this author I have read. I decided to read this one because it was part of a "series" that included other authors I enjoy. I' m glad I did! Samantha and Austen were great together. I loved the fact that Austen's sister actually tried to help the two get together instead of the normal " you can't date my friend" attitude.
