Ellie Mae Woodward is cursed. Not only is she stuck in a boring waitressing job, but she can’t seem to ditch the loser ex-boyfriend who still lives in her apartment. Seeking a better life for herself, she applies for a job at one of the world’s biggest social media companies, Heartbook. It’s a complete disaster, but on the way out she literally bumps into the man of her dreams.
Blake Fielding, the reclusive founder of Heartbook, is in trouble. Somebody has hacked his accounts and is trying to make him look like a bad guy. With his company collapsing around him, this famously antisocial billionaire is faced with a race against time to prove his innocence. But there’s a problem: he’s just met the most amazing woman, and he’s finding it impossible to keep his mind on the job.
A girl damaged by her ex, who thinks she is cursed never to find a good man. A good man whose reputation is being dragged through the mud, and who has no time to fall in love. By choosing to be together, both are in danger of losing everything—but then sometimes you have to risk it all before you find out what truly matters.
The first in the My Billionaire A-Z, a clean billionaire romance series, My Antisocial Billionaire is a fairy tale romance guaranteed to sweep you off your feet!
Katie Evergreen writes swoon-worthy, steamy billionaire romance packed with adventure, banter, and heart-melting moments.
When she’s not dreaming up devastatingly handsome heroes and the fierce women who challenge them, she’s likely lost in a good book, sipping tea, or planning her next fun adventure.
4 stars Cute romance with a bit of cheese. Billionaire CEO is hit with a scandal meets a normal bookloving girl. Karma wins in the end for a few sly players who you want punch.
I really do not like the hacked social media trope. I know how anxious and frustrating it can be and it just left a sour taste in my mouth from the beginning of this book. In addition, the hacking involved derogatory comments that the billionaire MMC can’t prove wasn’t him that said it (even though it wasn’t), is just gross and I really don’t like misogyny and sexism being used in a book when it’s being faked. Also the description about the FMC saying she feels average but her legs are toned, she has thick hair, big eyes, a freckled nose and full lips, like how is that average?? That’s basically goals nowadays. ALSO, this book has been promoted as a workplace romance when the FMC can’t even get the interview because of the drama with the MMC (how is this a workplace romance be so for real right now). The chemistry was there and this was poorly written. The only redeeming quality about this book was it was less than 250 pages.
This book was excellent!! I loved the story and how much fun it was to read.
The cover is so bright with the yellow background. It's definitely visually striking and I certainly wouldn't walk past it if I saw it in a shop!
The book is well written and flows beautifully. Some of the descriptions made me blush so they're perfect for spicy romance!!
I loved the settings. Especially Ellie's mum's farm. I loved the goats. Especially Bob. A grumpy goat was hilarious!
The characters were excellent and they all fit in so well. Ellie and Blake's story was so sweet. Even though he was having an absolute nightmare. The bad guys in this made me sick. That's all I will say and won't say who it was!
I definitely recommend this book! It's perfect as a standalone too.
The moral of the story was sweet and true. The morals in the story were pretty loose and low. The romance between Ellie and Blake was believable and ended happily with the love conquers all mentality. They had a lot of growth and hurdles to overcome and as a reader we got to watch that first hand. I found the passionate kissing was a bit too much for me however. On a steaminess level I would rate this a hot PG-13. Fortunately details between them and there exes aren't provided, but enough is inferred to get an idea of what those relationships entailed. Clearly the villians lacked several morals too based on the evil doings they committed. The author did a great job building the tension and keeping the twists coming. I was slack jawed several times with the plot twists that popped up. If the passions weren't so steamy I would say this read was worthy of a repeat.

Suddenly Desired was a quick and enjoyable read! The concept was fun, and the writing pulled me in right away, I finished it in one sitting without even realizing it. I’ve always had a soft spot for billionaire romances, and this one definitely delivered on that.
I’m usually not the biggest fan of insta-love or love at first sight, and this book had a bit of that, but I still found myself enjoying the way Blake and Ellie’s relationship grew. Their shift from strangers to friends to something more felt sweet, and all the drama and mystery kept things interesting.
The chemistry between them worked well. I liked how they showed up for each other, both as a team and as a couple. The writing and character development made me feel all sorts of emotions. There were moments that had me in awe, others that made me sad and angry, and even times where I felt the ick thanks to a few antagonists. And honestly, that emotional pull was incredible.
If you're looking for something light, romantic, and easy to get into, this one’s a solid choice. It has just the right mix of heart, tension, and a little chaos!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️,5 ”She didn’t say anything, but her presence grounded him in a way he hadn’t expected, like an anchor in the middle of a storm.”

Ellie Mae-Woodward is after her dream job at Heartbook, where the handsome Blake Fielding happens to be the billionaire CEO. “Men want to be you. Women want to be with you.”
Ellie built her own social network around books, and the overall concept of this book was so cute & creative! I haven’t read anything like it before. The MC’s are bouncing off each other perfectly and I was constantly needing more of them when reading. ”Classic Fielding. When the world’s burning, hide out with the books.”
The APEX group chat is a 10/10 vibe!! Love the boys vibin>>> Great side characters and they lift our MMC in a perfect way! This is book nr 2 in the Apex Billionaires Club, but it can be read as a standalone💛
The description and the details in this story added so much depth to the reading experience✨”She was all mismatched hues and creative chaos”. Simply beautiful! And the plot twists that just kept on coming? LOVED it. The story kept me guessing until the very end trying to figure out what happened to poor Blake🥹
Thank you to Joffe Books & @katieevergreenauthor for gifting me this ARC. It was a fast paced & SO adorable! Suddenly Desired is out on July 29th, do NOT miss it💛
Also, not supporting violence but uh if anyone wants to jump Josh d-head Brigsby I’m all for it😭He was THE WORST character and I wanted to throw my kindle in pure rage…
This book wasn’t what I expected. The cover screams rom-com, but the story dives into heavy drama, emotional manipulation, and mystery elements that honestly made it tough to read at times. The main characters fall way too fast, and while the spice level is high, the emotional connection feels rushed and unrealistic. Blake is sweet but painfully conflict-avoidant, and Ellie’s lack of backbone plus constant inner monologue got frustrating quickly. The villains are wildly over-the-top and somehow never face consequences, which left the ending feeling unsatisfying and unresolved. Still, it’s a fast-paced, high-drama read with vivid writing—good for anyone who enjoys chaotic insta-love with a side of emotional turbulence. Thanks to NetGalley and the author for the ARC!
This book was sweet romance where love conquers all, and that's what I needed. I always love romances, if you read my reviews, you know that, and this book had a believable storyline and romance, which was amazing.
Ellie and Blake are the main characters in this book. Ellie Mae Woodward is a waitress that is seeking a better life, and I could relate to her a lot. Blake Fielding is the founder of Heartbook, so he's the Billionaire in this book. You can see by that and buy reading the cover that it has some usual characteristic with the poor girl / rich guy kind of thing, but once you start reading the book get to learn more about the characters about their pasts, lives and dreams and you get to empathize and that's always a good thing for me because I like to connect with the characters and I could in this novel.
Of course, a good love story would be complete if it didn't have a good villain, because that give us drama and twists and turns in a book, whenever crazy or bad things happen. And that dynamic in the storyline and flow gives the book a good tone and it left me wanted to read just another chapter, and one more, and one more... until in the end I read the all novel.
Overall, I enjoyed this book. It was cute, it was sweet, it had just enough twists and turns to grab my curiosity and read page after page, and it was the kind of book I read when I'm cold and in bed, trying to get warm. Because it was a warm and fluffy kind of book to me. And that was a very good thing! Just what I needed when I read the book.
[I want to thank Katie for the eCopy of this book and for allowing me to read this book and in turn give my honest review of the book.]
I really liked Suddenly Tempted, the first book in this series, but I absolutely loved Suddenly Desired from the very beginning until the end. Blake and Ellie had an immediate connection and attraction. I loved all of their interactions and I couldn’t wait to see how it all worked out. Their HEA was perfection and I appreciated that there was some spice. I also enjoyed Blake’s billionaire friend group and their text messages. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Thank you to Katie Evergreen and Choc Lit UK for the opportunity to read this early.
3.5 This was a cute romance. Both main characters were likable and their relationship felt believable. There is a secondary back story of corporate greed and blackmail that is interesting.
This is not very deep but it’s a fun summer read that moved quickly.
There is some spice towards the end of the story but it was not overwhelming.
I enjoyed it and I would read additional things by this author.
My Initial Thoughts I was excited to carry on reading the Apex Billionaire Club series and see how things progressed for the characters. Blake is the founder of Heartbook where as Ellie has her own social platform in the making. I loved the fact the cover carries on the vibes that you got from Suddenly Tempted as well. Plot I enjoyed the plot for this. The fact they are trying everything to clear Blakes name but things never fully go to plan. No matter what they try someone is always trying to bring both Ellie and Blake reputation to pieces. Characters There is a real love and hate character divide in this book! I hated Josh so much which in turn made me question Ellie because why was she putting up with his rubbish. Blake seems like the knight in shiny armour who would do anything to make sure his company is not damaged further. Together Blake and Ellie do make a power couple and I enjoyed how they really worked together in the end of the book. Recommend If you fancy a strangers to friends to lovers romance you should try this one. Favourite Quote “Books have saved me so many times – from broken hearts to broken dreams. Overall Wrap up I enjoyed this and it is at the pace book one is also. I find both books get a lot better towards the end. It would have been nice to have more of the storyline where they fight things that happen towards the end but otherwise this was a cosy romance and a simple read. On the one hand, it’s easy to read with clear character and place descriptions that make it feel real and a good application of the insta-lust/love pipeline. Everything takes place over the course of three days and the author keeps us appropriately busy during that time. The MMC is a genuinely nice guy and the FMC is a good support to him!
On the other hand… the conflict in the story was FRUSTRATING. The baddies are really freaking bad and they just keep getting away with it. Both the MMC and FMC are conflict avoidant to the point of letting people walk all over them (it’s couched with “taking the high road”) and there were points I had to set the book down and walk away because I was so frustrated. For the love of god, Ellie! Take out a loan if you have to or ask your mom for help but change your apartment locks ASAP. Blake!, are you kidding me right now?! Where’s your lawyer?! You’re worth $6B. Use that for heaven’s sake.
Ultimately I would say it’s a quick romance read for someone who likes high-stakes, high-drama romance with main characters that are instantly head over heels for one another.

Cleverly Contrived Situation; Unputdownable Read. “Heartbook” is a social network company at the heart of this cleverly contrived story “Suddenly Desired” by Katie Evergreen. Ellie Mae Woodward arrives to interview for her dream job with the company and is refused entrance - the company is in Lock-down. Blake Fielding is being ousted from his own company, the brainchild he is so proud of and has given so much of his life to developing and managing. As Blake leaves the building amid the press furor he bumps into Ellie who has abandoned hope of an interview. They talk and immediately connect, Blake explains to Ellie how a number of negative and highly unacceptable comments about women have been posted on the Heartbook site and attributed to him. His board of directors have insisted that Blake must resign from the company he has put so much of himself into in order for the social network to survive. Ellie consoles him with excellent advice. “You can’t control what people think, you can only keep on being you and hope the truth comes out in the end” and “Maybe it’s not about failing today, it’s about what you do next” They part without exchanging names, but each having made a great impact on the other. However, Ellie had inadvertently left her notebook behind, Blake stumbles over it and determines to find Ellie and return her book – which he does and so a friendship is born. Together they work at discovering how and by whom Blake was set up, and Blake realizes Heartbeat has evolved into something he does not particularly enjoy any more. Ellie has been developing an idea for a new, friendlier social network called “LifeWrite” which Blake, as a rich entrepreneur, decides to support developing this as his next project. As they work closely together to develop LifeWrite, they also discover who set up to destroy Blake at Heartbook, and their relationship becomes closer. Are all their problems finally resolved? Does their budding romance blossom into something more permanent? Are Blake’s enemies brought to justice? What happens to Heartbook? I shall not spoil this story for anyone! This is a well written, fast moving, captivating, feel-good book – so I thoroughly recommend reading it to find out for yourself how and whether everything gets resolved. I very much enjoyed this book.
𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚: ★★★ 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: July 29 2025 𝗔𝗥𝗖 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪:
First off, I want to say thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this ARC. I always appreciate the chance to discover new authors and fresh stories.
When I first picked up this book, I was hoping for a fun, heartfelt escape and in many ways, it delivered. Katie Evergreen has a style that’s easy to fall into, and while this wasn’t a new favorite for me, I can absolutely see why others might really enjoy it.
The dynamic between the characters had its moments. There was a nice contrast between Ellie’s quirky creativity and Blake’s closed off, brooding energy. I liked how different they were on the surface but still found ways to connect. That kind of opposites attract tension is always fun when it’s done right, and there were some sweet, lighthearted scenes that made me smile.
Though this book didn’t fully win me over. I didn’t hate it, not at all but something about it just didn’t quite click for me emotionally. Maybe it was the pacing, or maybe it was how certain things were handled in the dialogue or character choices.
Another thing that affected my enjoyment was the predictability of the "bad guys". Without spoiling anything, I’ll just say that the twist wasn’t very twisty, you could see it coming from early on. For a book centered around a high stakes scandal and corporate mystery, I had hoped for a bit more tension and surprise in that area.
Still, I really appreciate when a book tries to blend romance with bigger plot threads (like the corporate scandal here). This story might not have blown me away, but I didn’t regret reading it either.
Even so, I wouldn’t say I disliked this book. It was…fine. The romance had its sweet moments, the chemistry was there even if it didn’t always leap off the page for me, and the story moved at a good pace. I think a lot of readers, especially those who like light workplace romances with a bit of tech world drama, would enjoy this more than I did.
𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗦: Billionaire romance, workplace romance, friends to lovers, opposite attract
In Suddenly Desired, Katie Evergreen crafts a slow-burn billionaire romance that’s equal parts heart, heat, and hope. At the center is Blake Fielding, a tech mogul whose empire crumbles overnight after a scandalous data breach makes him a public punching bag. What he doesn’t expect is to be saved—emotionally and maybe even professionally—by Ellie Mae-Woodward, a quirky, bookish web designer whose dream job at the same company evaporates the moment she arrives for her interview. One company scandal, two upended lives, and a serendipitous riverside meeting change everything.
What makes this story shine is the dynamic between its leads. Blake is guarded, intelligent, and used to control—but Ellie upends all of that with her awkward charm, irreverent humor, and an authenticity he can't ignore. The slow unraveling of their connection is deliciously paced—rich with tension, sharp dialogue, and emotionally honest moments that make you ache and root for them in equal measure.
Thematically, Suddenly Desired goes deeper than your average billionaire romance. It explores what it means to be seen for who you truly are when your image is under fire. Ellie doesn’t fall for the billionaire gloss—she challenges Blake, disarms him, and makes him face his vulnerability. And in return, he sees her in a way no one else has—beyond her insecurities and failed dreams.
Evergreen strikes a delicate balance between external stakes (media frenzy, reputation, lost careers) and internal ones (trust, self-worth, belonging). The emotional arc builds gradually, but satisfyingly, and when the final twist arrives, it hits with both surprise and emotional weight. You feel the risk in Blake’s ultimate choice—his reputation or his heart—and the payoff is sweet, earned, and deeply satisfying.
This is a romance for readers who want more than just steam (though it has that, too). It’s for readers who love love stories where broken pieces fit together, where banter masks longing, and where the risk of falling is exactly what makes it worth it.
Thanks to NetGalley and Joffe Books for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.
Suddenly Desired, book 2 of the APEX Billionaires series, is just the right mix of romance, mystery, and corporate drama. Ellie shows up at Heartbook expecting a job interview, but she walks straight into a PR nightmare. Down on her luck she is looking at her phone when she literally runs into the company’s scandal-struck CEO, Blake Fielding. As the pair continues to meet their unlikely friendship slowly turns into something deeper.
I read this book in one sitting, it was fast-paced and easy to get swept up in. The spice level felt well-balanced and it added tension and chemistry without overshadowing the plot. Ellie was a highlight for me. I loved her determination and her bookish personality (though I wouldn’t have minded seeing that side of her explored even more). Her character arc was good, especially as she found the strength to distance herself from her toxic ex, Josh. Speaking of Josh 🤢 he made my skin crawl in the best/worst way. He was awful, which is a credit to how convincingly he was written. (but I still have a lot of anger on behalf of Ellie).
Blake is the classic brooding billionaire with a heart (and reputation) in need of repair, and while his arc wasn’t overly surprising, his dynamic with Ellie worked well. I also really enjoyed the inclusion of the APEX group chat — the banter added humor and gave a peek into relationships from the wider series. That said, I haven’t read book one, so I felt a bit behind when it came to some of the side characters and references.
All that said, the most unbelievable part was the timeline - Ellie and Black fall for each other ridiculously quick... like two days and so the timeline was a bit of an issue for me. I felt like they deserved more time together to build these feelings.
Overall, this was a fun, flirty, and emotionally satisfying story with a solid mix of heart and heat. I’d happily read more in this series.
This is the second book in the APEX Billionaires' Club series and after reading Suddenly Tempted back on March, I was so happy to see this second book coming out so soon!
I loved the first book and am so glad that I was reading these in order, but to be honest, this book is easily read as a standalone if you missed the first.
Following a new couple means that this story is whole and flows nicely.
I don't really think I have a particular preference when it comes to tropes, but I do really enjoy a good workplace romance read - especially when it comes to the billionaire boss!
Blake has managed to end up in a bit of a mess and is losing his following and his company's trust.
Whilst hiding out, he comes across new interviewee Ellie and it's pretty clear that there's a connection from the start.
I love that this is essentially a romance read with us following the pair as they try to keep things professional, despite the obvious chemistry going on between them.
That is until they just can't deny it any longer and things develop - giving us a few spicy scenes!!
Woven into this storyline, we also see Blake and Ellie team up to try and work out who is trying to bring down Blake and his reputation - as well as Ellie keeping her ex out of her hair for good.
I loved our main characters and the way that the relationship develops over time despite the chaos surrounding them.
Well written and easy to get immersed in, I absolutely can't wait to read the third book in this great series.
I really enjoyed this read! Katie Evergreen blends romance and mystery perfectly in Suddenly Desired, delivering a story that’s both fun and emotionally satisfying. From the very start, I loved the quiet spark between Ellie and Blake — a quirky, bookish web designer and a guarded tech billionaire with everything to lose. Their slow-burn connection felt authentic, with enough tension to keep me turning the pages. I also appreciated the mystery angle involving the hack scandal — it gave the story depth without overshadowing the romance.
Fans of the first book will enjoy seeing the familiar presence of the APEX Billionaires.
There are some hot and spicy scenes too — and while I personally prefer my books like my food, very lightly spiced, these moments were tastefully done. I’d call it more “door ajar” than open — enough steam to satisfy spice-lovers, but still comfortable for those of us who prefer things a little more subtle.
A fab mix of friends-to-lovers, workplace tension, opposites attract, and of course, billionaire drama. Definitely recommended if you like a romance with brains and heart. 💻❤️
Number 2 of 3 in this series , I thoroughly enjoyed it as a standalone. Blake Fielding has devoted his life to starting and running his social media company, now a billionaire but feels its no longer enough and his life is missing something. When misogynistic posts start appearing overnight on his own page the people who previously loved him now turn on him, even his own board believe hes not who they thought he was and want him to leave the company he alone dreamt up and started with help from his college pal David. His ex girlfriend Michelle vociferously joins in the campaign to oust him. Meanwhile Ellie Mae Woodward has come to interview for a job with the company hoping to set up her own social media account, by chance she meets up with Blake hiding from the Press and erstwhile admirers . After a couple more accidental meetings, they find they have a lot in common and start to feel a connection between them. Between Blakes battle to prove hes innocent of the things they accuse him of and Ellie's critical ex pursuing her they have a lot to contend with. On the business side that old adage about keeping friends close but enemies closer still is proving difficult when it seems increasingly difficult to tell the difference between them. Well written, like the characters the plot develops slowly and builds to a good ending for the main characters. I enjoyed it very much.
Suddenly Desired by Katie Evergreen is a charming and emotionally layered rom-com that goes beyond the expected, delivering both swoon-worthy romance and a surprising twist that sets it apart. At its heart is a rugged, seemingly untouchable leading man who reveals a vulnerable, heartfelt side that makes him all the more endearing.
Katie Evergreen strikes a perfect balance between sweet and steamy, offering readers witty banter, authentic emotional moments, and a love story that feels both fresh and deeply satisfying. The unexpected twist adds a burst of drama that keeps the narrative engaging and makes the romance even more rewarding.
This isn’t your average romantic comedy—it’s smart, heartwarming, and full of genuine surprises. Suddenly Desired is a delightful, feel-good read that proves even the strongest hearts sometimes need saving. A must-read for rom-com lovers looking for something with both heat and heart.
Blurb Blake Fielding built the world’s biggest social media empire — until a scandalous hack turns his company, Heartbook, into headline-hell and Blake into public enemy number one.
Ellie Mae Woodward thought she was walking into her dream job interview at Heartbook. Instead, she walks straight into corporate chaos, a building in lockdown and — literally — the brooding CEO at the centre of the scandal.
Blake’s guarded and entirely off-limits. Ellie’s quirky, creative and not remotely impressed by billionaires. But he needs someone who sees past the headlines. Ellie — with her dress covered in nerdy-hearts and a pink notebook of dreams — might just be the wildcard he needs.
Teaming up to uncover the truth could save them both. But when it’s finally revealed, they’ll have to choose between clearing Blake’s name . . . Or risking it all for something neither of them saw coming.
Don't be fooled by the cover of this book, this is more than just a romance story. It has social media scandals, toxic relationships, derogatory comments and evil villains. So be aware before you read.
This story is fast paced with a mistery subplot, that kept me invested. The romance is instant... And, although I'm not a big fan of it and it may not be realistic, I still enjoyed it because the main characters are easy to fall in love with. Since it's all in a span of 72hrs, if I'm not mistaken, we don't see a lot of development from the characters or their relationship. The story is centered on the chaos Blake is going through and Ellie helping him go through it. It has a happy ever after ending with a comic undertone that lighten the mood after all the wrongdoings that happened in the story.
Thank you ChocLit and Katie Evergreen for the opportunity to read this story.
The whole “take-down by social media” plot was deeply unpleasant and not what I want to read in a romcom, the blackening of the hero’s name with such distressing misrepresentation of his views was very uncomfortable. Again, not what I want in romcom
First lesson of any rom-com/fairy story is that the villains should get their comeuppance on the page so that the reader can have the satisfaction of seeing them get their just desserts.
But that doesn’t happen in this book. The wildly over the top, cartoon like villains have a whole scene where they defeat the h/H and apparently winning the battle and walking smugly away, we discover the heroine has captured it all on her laptop.
So, off page we learn the villains lose their jobs, pay a fine and do community service. BUT are TOLD this but not SHOWN it. So VERY disappointing.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Fun engaging read with lovable characters, a bit of mystery, and just enough emotional weight to keep you invested.
The book gave a bit more grit and drama than I expected. The story revolves around Ellie, a quirky web designer who unexpectedly crosses paths with Blake, a serious, high-profile tech billionaire caught in the middle of a scandal. From the moment they met, I could feel the sparks, and watching their relationship shift from cautious friendship to something deeper.
What made it stand out was the way the author balanced the romance with the tension of Blake's situation. The scandal adds urgency to the plot, and Ellie’s involvement in helping him navigate through it gave her more than just being the love interest.
3.5 Stars This one is actually better than the second one in the series. While still containing a great deal of less-than-usual British terms, it was easier to read in that respect. The story also flowed better. It was a bit sappier than I liked because I kept getting kicked out of the story by unrealistic or odd elements. Naturally, I don't expect ultra-realism from an escapist read, but some authors have the skill to get one to believe whatever they write. Not this one. Yet. Katie Evergreen has the potential to be a great writer and not merely a good one. I expect it will come with experience. Still, overall, this wasn't a bad read; I'll likely try another one of her books.
I didn't like this one, but I didn't hate it either. Was bugged that Ellie didn't stand up for herself against Josh until the end. She let him push her around for way to long. It was really irritating. There were some surprising twists, but it wasn't completely believable and wrapped up with a pretty bow too nicely. The scene with the helicopter didn't fit. Quite a few typos. IDK what it was exactly that I didn't like. Just a whole bunch of little things coming together to not be the deepest or most enjoyable story. Clean. I wouldn't read it again. It may be the authors writing style I don't like. Don't think I'd read more in the series.
Book 2 in the Apex Billionaires series and we get to know Blake this time, the seriously hot CEO. We also meet Ellie, sweet natured but feeling cursed, she becomes the only one outside the Apex boys that believes in Blake despite knowing him for 24hours. What ensues is a fast-tracked romantic comedy (oh Bob 🤣) where both main characters fight for what's right in life, regardless of the impact on them personally. This is a super quick read, I finished it in one day as I couldn't put it down. I really love the characters in this one and very quickly warmed to the main characters. I am really looking forward to book 3 because I just love this genre and this author writes it so well!
She’s done it again, I love the stories Katie writes, it helps me get lost and there is nothing I love more…
I love the realness of this book, how they met and the how the whole story played out just felt real, the way I was ready to hunt down David and Michelle is nothing of a joke! Also JOSH? URGH!!! He stresses me out😂😂
I’m so glad we got to see people from the previous books also this makes it better, I love Nate 😂🫶🏻
Honestly Blake and Ellie was just perfect for each other, their souls just really connected with each other and Blake willing to give everything for her? My goddddd!
Can’t wait for the next book, this series has been such a fun, easy, effortless series to read❤️
