Stay alive at all costs. No attachments, no looking back, no emotion.

The last thing my father gave me was a key. No explanation, no details, just a key. The last thing he asked of me was to take the key to a set of co-ordinates. But survival in a fallen world filled with Feral isn't easy. The Fangs and the Claws, once upstanding members of society are now slave to the vir

So Debbie I have a question for you ...
are you writing books just for me now?
First you give us a great UF in City of Demons with dragons and a wonderful psycho named Seb.
Then you change it up and write a fantasy with undertones of beauty and the beast with Captive of Darkness
Now you write a post apocalyptic world with vampires and zombie shifters...
and I know you have a sci-fi space adventure in the wo

Gaby if you’re reading this, thank you for the recommendation.

Ugh, where to start. I’ll post my initial thoughts below:

Am I team Tobias? I can’t decide.

(I am certainly TEAM. ASH.)

A LOT of Walking Dead vibes but whatever we will roll with it.

I have to say, in the stories where the MC is at first wary of the men that she may hate now but in just the span of however many pages (depends on the author) they’re gonna be balls deep inside her, always has me la

Proper review to come nearer release date, but this a great start to a new series that feels darker than the author's previous work.

Great concept, kick ass heroine and an intriguing group of guys!

4.5 upon contemplation.

The RH genre can get pretty samey, if I'm honest. But one thing I have really come to love from Debbie Cassidy is that she has a massive diversity in the types of RH she writes.

Firstly we had brilliant Urban Fantastic with the Chronicles of Midnight and Arcana series', then

This is awesome! Eva is a badass chick just trying to survive with a mission from her dead dad in the post apocalyptic world of super natural chaos.i loved this world and the characters. I cannot wait for the second one

I'm intrigued and look forward to reading more.

Eva was likable. She is a strong female who knows that she can't give a crap about everything going on around her if she wants to stay alive, but is still willing to sacrifice her life for a few things she believes in. She has had to fight really hard to get to the co-ordinates her dad left her before he died and it shows in the way she thinks about things.

Let's talk about the men in this series. I don't really feel like I KNOW any of them yet, bu

Wow! I absolutely LOVED this! Eva was an awesome character to get to know and the guys brought back all my favorite Vampire Diary type feels. Debbie’s world building is what made me fall head over heels for her stories and For The Blood is no exception. The story is interesting and well thought out! It pulls you in and keeps its hooks in you! I am so hellaciously in love with Debbie’s Chronicles of Arcana and Chronicles of Midnight series, but this could be a new favorite of mine! So excited to ...more

We have our female lead named Eva, she is on the run with Tobias, her sidekick since childhood in a post apocalyptic world of monsters, The Feral Claws. But those are not the only monsters in their world. Everyday they have to fight for everything. Never knowing if they will survive to see the next day, but at least they have each other. On a mission to reach coordinates her father had drilled into her was the key to survival. Now Eva and Tobias are so very close to their goal, finally finding o ...more

A great blend of genres

This book is a mix of urban fantasy and zombie like apocalypse with werewolves and vampires but are called fang and claw. I noticed this book has no spelling errors or grammatical issues.didn't mix up names of facts and I loved that.normally I ignore it and don't mention it but it was refreshing to read a book that was completely proofread.I automatically read and find errors and I can't help it. This plot was catchy. I hate zombie and apocalyptic stories usually but I gue

For the thrill, it's a must read

She did it again, and just in the nick of time. The story literally flies off the pages and slaps you in the face with fangs and claws and blood, so much blood. A new series from a favorite. Man, she knows how to write, the pages turn quickly, and before you know it, you're invested and it's over, but not for long. I love the protagonist, she's fearless, yet full of fear, callous, yet full of love, and a survivor above all. You're in capable hands with this writer

Loved it!

I have yet to be disappointed with a Debbie Cassidy book and this one was no exception. Her writing combines all my favorite things: kick butt heroines, heart stopping action, and a complicated plot that keeps me guessing until the very end.

It took me longer to pick this up than some of her other books simply because she compared it to The Walking Dead so I thought it would be about zombies. It's not. It is set in an apocalypse type world but the "zombies" are the Feral Fangs. Way cool
This author's books always read like television series to me - since I love TV this is fantastic! This series takes place following a virus that has created zombie-like creatures, and mutated other, previously known about creatures. Eva is the heroine, and she is definitely the kind of tough gal with a soft spot that I love from these kinds of TV shows. The potential harem members are all mysterious and attractive; I love that one is mute and uses sign language to communicate. I've always liked ...more

This was everything I wanted in a dystopian RH! The characters were realistic, their choices made sense (which isn't always the case with RH books), and the main character was likable, even if she had to be on the cold side.

The only issue I had was the lack of explanation behind the names Feral and Claws and Fangs. It took a bit to realize that Claws are werewolves, Fangs are vampires, and Feral were those two groups who had been infected by the virus. The words were thrown into the dialog as i

This is book is so different from anything I ever read before. It brings a whole new face to the zombie apocalypse genre and I absolutely love it! The Walking Dead zombies are scary enough but can you imagine if they were supernatural instead of plain old humans!?! To be fair these beast really aren't zombies at all but you get the same vibes from it that's for sure! The characters are amazing and the storyline flows easily. I could not put this book down. DO NOT start reading before bedtime or ...more

Wow, what a fantastic start to another new series by Debbie Cassidy. I Love this new world and instantly took to the storey and cast. This book has everything - Post Apocalyptic world with a fantastic Kick Ass Heroine, Vampires and Shifters, Its Urban Fantasy at its best with the added bonus of being a slow burn reverse harem and all combined by the Author seamlessly into one Fantastic Storey. Any K F Breene, C N Crawford, Jasmine Walt fans should definitely read this book, in fact any one into ...more

This book omg this book was freaking amazing!
This story sucked me in after just reading a page and I could not climb out of the book until I had gotten to the very end.
This is my first time reading anything by Debbie Cassidy and I gotta say I’ll definitely be reading more of her work in the future especially this series because I have to know what happens next.
So it’s a big HECK YEAH I most definitely do recommend this book because I thought it

I'm not really a fan of the apocalyptic type genre, with zombies and such but with saying that I thought it give it a shot anyways. It wasnt a bad read and I really liked Ash and Eva the others have my interests peaked I will probably check out the next one as well its left me curious but hasnt swayed me on liking end of the world virus type books really so mostly the characters relationships to each other will keep me interested in the next.

Humans are nearly extinct and the supernaturals have been hit by a virus that has all but turned them feral, all Eva wants to do is survive. I didn’t put this book down from start to finish, I have read a lot of Debbie Cassidy’s books and I have to say this is one of my favourites!! Sadly once this one is published, the second book isn’t out until Feb, but I will definitely be getting it as soon as it goes live cause I need to know where Eva’s ends up next on her journey.

So good!!

I love zombie books, and though these aren't exactly zombies they are similar and yet completely original and creative. The characters are fantastic and, the action packed adventure that they go through is amazingly entertaining. This was a great read that I HIGHLY recommend!

Now I am not a post apocalyptic fan but I am a fan of Debbie Cassidy's works so thought I would give this book a go and am so glad I did. This is one of those books you finish way too soon because it is so fast paced it draws you right in from the very start and you totally lose yourself to the scenes unfolding before you.

Great scenes, love the characters. I cannot wait for the next book.

This is sure to be one of my fave series of 2019! I could not put this book down! From start to finish Eva's journey is fast paced, non stop action. The author does a fantastic job with character development and world building description so you can esily imagine these creatures and the environment. I quickly became invested in Eva's story and am anxious to see where the story takes us next.

Any book that hooks me in and keeps me on the edge of my seat and causes me to lose sleep is worth writing about. The more you read the more you want. This is kinda walking dead meets super naturals only you don't really know who the bad guys really are.

An interesting spin

This was a different take on the end of civilization. Not your average "zombie" read, but still involving a virus, supernaturals, kick butt heroine, and hotties to love...or not. I really enjoyed this book and very much look forward to the next in the series.

Excellent plot, interesting world building, and a strong female protagonist who is vulnerable, yet smart, and has a fierce, bloodthirsty side -- I read this one straight through in a single setting and have pre-ordered the next book so I can continue on with the storyline.

Fast paced and loads of potential

Really enjoyed this little treat. I flew through the book, it’s fast paced yet you still get to know the characters. Eva is probably my favourite of Debbie’s female leads so far! Can’t wait for book two.

Awesome Read

It's heavy, not an HEA, has a cliffhanger. Eva is pretty awesome, and from the start, I can't say she is only human. She's got to have something else in her blood.

Ash is my favorite. There's something about the strong silent type that is very alluring. *Wink*
