Beautifully Broken Control is book four in the Sutter Lake series by Catherine Cowles. Every book in this series has been amazing and I have been so looking forward to finding out Kennedy and Cain’s story.

This is my second book from Miss Cowles. Like her previous book on this series, I do like the concept of the story, but the execution is weak. I need more drama/ angst/ complex plot.
Miss Cowles done a frustrating job by adding a bit of suspense on her story. It does not help enhancing anything, since I can guess pretty much who is the culprit.
The chemistry between Cain and Kennedy is so so. Nothing explosive. I do like the small town concept.
Overall I do not like this book nor hate it.

This was my favorite of the series! The prologue was so good and had me hooked right away. Cain and Kennedy both suffer from deep betrayals and part traumas. They each go to Sutter Lake to escape. Their characters are well developed and each grow thoroughly. Kennedy is young, but very wise and had to grow up quick. Beautifully Broken Control is the fourth book in the Sutter Lake series by Catherine Cowles. Every book in this series has been phenomenal, and this one was no exception. I devoured this book from start to finish! I absolutely loved how Catherine weaved in elements of suspense into her storyline and had me guessing what would happen next. And Cain - wow. Just WOW. His character development was fantastic, and I absolutely felt every emotion he experienced right along with him. And Kennedy (Kenz) - truly loved her as well. Two beautifully broken people searching for control and they find so much more . . . Steller read!

Just when I thought the Sutter Lake Series couldn’t get better here comes Catherine Cowles with Beautifully Broken Control. The reality behind Kennedy’s past is more than I could have ever seen coming. The person she really is is someone so incredibly brave, strong and carrying the biggest of hearts. Catherine is an talented storyteller and this book beautifully written.
Love Kennedy! She is amazing. She is sweet, smart, feisty and sassy. My heart broke for her and everything she went through. She did everything she could to correct the wrongs of something that was not her fault.

I’m a big fan of this series and I knew that Cain had an awesome story to tell. Watching these characters develop from the first book to this one has been a real joy. Once you start one of Ms Cowles books you get hooked. The words draw you in and keep you riveted to the pages. This is Catherine Cowles’s best book yet! I never wanted this book to end and savored every second of it. Cain and Kennedy were so beautifully matched up with their broken backgrounds they were hiding from but the present forced it to be dealt with. Interconnected standalones in a series are becoming my jam, I love making all the connections with the characters. And it's a major bonus when you see your favorites pop up in the later books. Cain and Kennedy's story brings two broken souls together in such a slow burn way that you can't help but devour their story.

Like all of Catherine’s books, it was wonderfully written. The story was so good. I tried to slow down my reading because I didn’t want it to end but I also had to know what was happening! #bookwormproblems
