Started and finished in 2 days - The Secret Guardians (The Rogues #2 of a trilogy), by Lian Tanner.

Science fiction/Fantasy for children. Good guys, bad guys, magic powers, children running from bad guys. There is death in the book. I would have no problem reading this out loud to Grant. However old you were when you read Harry Potter, you can be younger than that to read this. She publishes in New Zealand/Australia, so I ordered it from the publisher because I was tired of waiting for it to get

Another fabulous book from this author. Im a fair whack older than the target audience but I still really enjoyed this one. And who can resist an amazing quirky chicken as one of the important characters? Not me.
