Happy Halloween!

Alright, I fell off my plan again a little bit, I missed posting yesterday! I am trying to get better about prepping posts beforehand but this week actually not the whole week just a few days have been rough at work and with some life stuff. I have books read (don't believe me? Go look at my exploding currently reading Goodreads shelf, someday they are going to say I can not add anything else till I finish these reviews). I finished this issue of Giant Days a while ago and I stil

The whole Christmas village story was just too dumb, almost completely dependent on sitcom logic.

A bit early, but still an entertaining holiday read. Poor Daisy never seems to get a break and yet still remains hopeful and optimistic throughout (or, in Ed’s words, “able to earn money teaching people how to compartmentalize”). Cliff is a very bizarre neighbor....

Another fantastic and silly Giant Days issue. Though I’ll admit it feels weird to be reading about Christmas when Halloween hasn’t even happened yet…I guess even comics get ahead of the seasons?
This issue focused on Ed and Daisy the most. It seems odd that their two plots got so mixed up together…but it also sort of makes sense. Daisy’s enthusiasm is impossible to resist at times, even when logic is screaming at you to run away.
I love how Daisy seems to be constantly getting herself into thi

I was bored with this issue, but I have a cold and am cranky so that probably contributed. Ugh.

I love this cover! The little sweat beads on the Daisy and Ed cookies is a great mesh of ideas.

I love how completely Susan goes to bat for her friends, how dedicated Esther is to her newest project, and how McGraw really focuses on the craft of a thing. Also, I want know more about the board game they play in this issue.

The sweaters in this issue look super comfortable and I want all of them.
