ღ There are so many things I love about this book! Love Sam sass! Love Scott protectiveness. What a great start to a new series.

Can’t wait for the next one!

➳This is one of those complicated, love-hate situation that went on for years

➳ Scott Sanderson moved next door to the DaSilva’s girls (Samantha aka Sam & her twin Nico;e aka Nix- Tabby & at or around the same time their mother left them & their father to fend for themselves
It was the DaSilva’s girls against the world, but mostly against Scott Sanderson aka Galahad. The pranks they did to each other, anyone could see that they had feeling for each other… but god forbid if either one would admit they had feeling for the other one

After Galahad mother die, he went back to London, & 10 years later he back. And all those old feeling he hadn’t thought about came flooding back when his father sent him on fool’s errand to convince the DaSilva’s girls to sell

Will Scott be so lucky to convince Samantha into selling? since she so over whelmed with her father decides to take off to give his daughters time grow up & take more responsibility? He Left her with a tattoo business, but she has no clue how to run the failing business

This is his opportunity to get back at her. The only question is does Scott want to?
Samantha had kinky side & it seemed supremely unfair that her childhood nemesis, the posh boy next door, could be such a good match for her in bed.

This book had bit of everything in it… I would list them for you, but where the fun in that? I would rather prefer for you to enjoy this book on your own

----📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion & my honest review 💕

Review now posted. 22/10/18

I wish I had the physical copy of this book so I could hug it to my chest, you really can't do that with a phone/tablet. Just doesn't feel the same. I also want to hug Eve Dangerfield but I'm sure there are laws against stalking and attack-hugging your favourite authors. I was so excited when I got this ARC that when I sat down to read it I could not sit still, I was fidgeting like crazy until page 5. After that, I was laser focused on it, like a hawk watching a mouse.

Sam DaSilva is the quintessential wild child and the oldest of three sisters. With an absentee mum and a bona fide, genuine, cool as heck, hippie tattooist dad, Sam grows up without censure, societal pressure and toxic patriarchy. Simply put, I fell in love with her. She became the tough guy to protect her self and her family after their mother left them. She uses her tattoos, the partying and the drinking to distract and to keep people at arms length. But at twenty-seven she's starting to realize she can't keep going with her partying ways. And when her dad abruptly takes off for an extended holiday, leaving the tattoo shop and the house to her, she's left facing all the responsibilities she's been shirking for years. Predictably, as anyone thrown in deep water, she begins to sink.

"He was the one constant in the house and now only the bare bones were left. Left to her."

description

Scott Sanderson had the misfortune or luck depending from whose eyes you're looking from, to move right next to the DaSilva family when he was eight. Being British makes him immediately stand out and subsequently labelled posh from the get go. With an extreme asshole for a dad and a soft spoken, gentle mum, he's a quiet boy in nice clothing and a stutter. He's immediately drawn to the three girls next door and their vibrant play times so unlike his own. Sam especially stands out to him and after a rocky start they begin a friendship that soon turns sour and to an all out prank war.

"After his twenty-eight birthday, a quiet mania took over him, a buzzing restlessness no workout, whiskey nor wank could cure. He fought it."

But he failed. And he ends up back where he was, drawn to Sidney. As an adult, he's quiet, intense and self confident but all that goes out the window the minute he lays eyes on Sam for the first time in ten years.

"She was passion itself, wrapped in an insanely gorgeous body. She'd been that way from the moment he'd seen her. Fearless. Wild."

description

I figured out certain elements of the plot from the get go but I didn't mind because I was so much more invested in the details of how it all went down rather than the causation, if that makes any sense. Their story is told with flashbacks but they felt quite organic within the story. I did get slightly irritated with them but mostly because I constantly wanted to read more of the past and the present. Every time the present ended, I wanted to stay a little longer and vice versa with the flashbacks. I became emotionally invested. Both Sam and Scott were multi dimensional and felt so real to me. Their actions or more accurately their reactions might have frustrated me here and there but each one was so within their character to do so, I actually loved it. These two wormed their way to my heart so deep that I wanted to hug this book tight and not let go. I laughed with some of their past antics and my heart literally hurt for them at times. Also I cannot fail to mention that their sexy times were hotter than the Carolina Reaper (hottest pepper) and that Scott has earned a place in my top five dirty talkers! There's so many more things that I wanna say, like all the awesome side characters but I also think I should stop my gushing here, or I'll end up spoiling the whole book!

description

Eve Dangerfield is an exceptional author. And as I have said before she has this wonderful ability to make beautiful, heart wrenching couples out of the most unlikely of characters. I could not recommend her more especially if you're looking for something satisfyingly spicy without getting badly burnt.

P. S. I cannot wait to read the books for Nicole and Tabby.

P. P. S. 23/10/18 I just keep coming back here. I can't get this book or my review out of my head. I want to say more. Like, how I would kill to get a tattoo from Sam or Tabby and how much I loved her being a tattooist. Or how I wanted to shake some sense in Nicole. Or how much I wanted to hug kid Scott. My mind just keeps circling back here.

~Second Read. First Review.~

Samantha and Scott go way back. Neighbors as kids, any possible friendship between the young boy and the Da Silva sisters turned into years of pranks and torment. Now back from England, has 10 years erased the bad memories and secret crush between these two?

“You’ve been such a bad girl, but I know how to make you good again.”

A woman like Samantha Da Silva is difficult to forget. Still feisty and better than he remembered, their rivalry is forgotten the minute they relay eyes on each other. What Scott never expected is the vulnerability Samantha cannot hide in his presence.

Her world is imploding. Her father is MIA, her tattooing business is sinking and somehow her nemesis has returned to Melbourne. With the recruitment of her wayward sisters and the man she can no longer ignore, Samantha is forced to grow up and take responsibility.

I love how this story flickers from past to present but mostly that it’s set in my hometown and the places that appear throughout this story are real. There is a trueness to the characters that make them perfectly flawed and relatable.

“Ten years ago, your father told me to find something to run toward, not from. I didn’t understand what he meant then, but now I do. I don’t want to live in fear, I want to live in love. I want to run towards you.”

It’s amazing how two people can sizzle once they’ve let their guards down. There is no denying that Samantha and Scott are opposites. The tattooist and the banker, yet strip away the titles and stereotypes; Scott knows exactly how to tame the wildling. With a firm hand and a lot of love. And make no mistake it was HOT!

“We cannot say much about love at first sight. It happens, and we live in the wake of a new life.”
Coleman Barks, The Essential Rumi.

I’m ashamed to say that So Wild is actually my first book by Eve Dangerfield. I have no idea why, especially so as Eve is an Aussie author and since I am Australian, I feel somewhat regretful that I haven’t read her before. So Wild was a great book to start my Eve Dangerfield journey with, I absolutely loved everything from the flawless writing, to the depth of the characters and to the fact that I love tattoos and have a few of my own. I loved being taken into the world of tattoo artistry. I also loved that the story was set in Melbourne, Australia. I’m not from Melbourne myself, but I have lived there for several years and always love to return. It’s a city that offers so much and I just related to the story as a whole.

Sam and Scott have known each other since they were kids and they have had a turbulent relationship, consisting of bickering starting from their first encounter and an array of pranks on each other. From the very beginning, when Scott was introduced, I automatically had a soft spot for him due to his cute stuttering (I have a bit of a thing for speech impediments) and having to put up with a father like his. If I was him, I would have taken off back to London too, just to escape a dad like that. I felt so sorry for him. Despite everything Scott and Sam had put each other through Scott had always had feelings for Sam.

Fast forward to adulthood and Sam’s father, who is the owner of Silver Daughters Ink tattoo studio, has vanished and has left everything in Sam’s name (the tattoo shop and the deed to their house). This is responsibility that I’m sure Sam herself believes she is not ready for.

Scott has always believed Sam was beautiful and given the fact that he hasn’t seen her in ten years, he believes she is even more beautiful than he remembers. Sam always felt Scott was a bit posh and dressed weird in his nice suits, like he was about to go to a wedding. It is quite evident from the beginning that there are distinct differences between the two, but sometimes opposites attract and fate has a way of bringing two people back together again.

There was not one character in this book I didn’t love; I loved Sam for her wild ways, her artistic talent, her mannerism and her entire being. I loved Scott for his sweet nature, his posh British accent (that I heard in my head whilst I was reading) and his love for the wild and free Sam. I adored both of Sam’s sisters too, especially Tabby, she was just downright hilarious and I couldn’t get enough of her. She was definitely a favorite of mine.

I urge everyone to check out this little slice of heaven. It was fun, emotional in parts and just a downright joy to read. As previously stated, this is my first Eve Dangerfield book, but it sure won’t be my last. If they are all half as good as So Wild, then I am going to be one happy little Vegemite.

Now this may seem like a random thing to start a review with but...

The day before I was offered this arc I’d just had my one and only tattoo (from over 20 years ago) covered and completely redone.

I just thought I’d throw that in there. Anyway back to the book.

I loved it.
It worked it’s as simple as that.

A couple of pages in and I couldn’t put it down. Scott Sanderson moved next door to Sam and her sisters when he was eight years old. He found himself completely captivated by her. Sam was and is the complete opposite of Scott and they could have been such great friends. Instead they became enemies. The battle continued and pranks got bigger until aged eighteen Scott returned to the U.K.

Ten years later and he’s back.

Sam has been stagnating, her life seems to be a spiral of drink, sex and tattooing. She’s not quite found her balance since her enemy and neighbour Scott left years ago.

There’s something about this book. The characters and the way the story is told kept me turning the pages faster and faster.

It’s not just Sam and Scott, all the other characters are great as well. There’s a real depth to them all, I truly cared (yes I know they’re fictional characters but it doesn’t matter). There’s also the humour we’ve come to expect from Eve’s books. And the kink, only here it’s milder and personally I liked that more.

I’m assuming/hoping both Nix and Tabby will be getting their own books. I also hope we don’t have to wait long. I’m not known for my patience and I really want to continue on with the DaSilva sisters.

The cover.
I have a thing for book covers. I’ve been know to read a book just because I really like the cover. And discard others if I don’t.

I don’t like this cover and it doesn’t work at all with this book.

Sam is covered in tattoos and I just can’t picture her wearing that outfit. The guy on the cover is dark haired with a full beard. Scott is blond and nearly always wears a suit.

This may seem picky and it is and I am but this book is fabulous and it deserves a great cover. A cover featuring Sam and Scott.

I voluntarily read a review copy kindly provided by the author.

Oh, how the tattoos have changed…

My first memory of tattoos was back in the day when I worked in my family’s hardware store. Picture this…my blokey 6’ 1” dad, my English Rose and petite mum, my two sisters and I, selling paint, tools and manly man stuff. This particular day, Dad and I were working by ourselves and I think I was about 13 or 14. Dad stepped out for a minute and I was “Supervising” the store. In walks a very tall, muscly and bearded biker dude. Now, you’d think I’d be intimidated, right? Nope, I was more worried because he asked me to direct him to where the plumb bobs were. “A plumb bob, you say…umm, Sir, could you tell me what that looks like?” I step out from behind the counter and we’re on a mission. 5 minutes later, Dad walks back in and this biker has his arm on my shoulder and I’m giving him the biggest grin EVER. To say that Dad was a wee bit discombobulated is an understatement. But, I FOUND the plumb bob…and he was one of the nicest blokes I’ve ever met.

Boy, how the times have changed. Now, it’s not just the tough blokes that have tattoos. If you have a tattoo or many tattoos these days, there’s a good chance you want to share art. It’s not just naked ladies and skulls, it’s unicorns and sunshine, your babies names, a music symbol, a quote or a face that tells a story. Me, I’m not a fan of tattoos for myself, but I truly can appreciate the beauty in them. I loved that So Wild shows a little of what’s behind being a tattoo artist.

There were so many things in So Wild that I could relate to. I’m an Aussie and this book is set in Melbourne, Australia. The heroine has two sisters and so do I. The hero is a Pom and my mum is a Pom. I recognised the places, food brands and slang used. So Wild, for a little space of time was my happy place and I didn’t want it to end. Sam and Scott’s world came to life for me.

Honestly, this IS my favourite book by Eve Dangerfield and that’s saying something because I’ve loved (nearly...sorry Eve, Taunted was a little too kinky for me) everything she’s written. So Wild made me laugh until I cried. Wait until you meet Tabby. Oh my lordy, Sam’s younger sister is one of the FUNNIEST characters I’ve EVER met. She’s crass, outspoken, flighty, beautiful and a little kooky. So Wild made me cry a little too. It’s kind of emotional getting to know the characters and some of their history. Sam and Scott have known each other since they were eight, and, unfortunately, it wasn’t pretty in the beginning. We’re talking serious PRANK WARS!! You eventually get to hear the hows and whys of the war but it was still hard to witness.

This was not one of Eve’s extreme kinky, sexy books. Sure, there’s a little kink and a little sexy, but if you’ve read her other stories, this would seem almost tame in comparison. Maybe, I could have done with a wee bit more, but that was only because I really got their connection. The sexual tension was sizzling and after their first “connection”, it was obvious they were meant for each other.

I always assumed that people who wear/have tattoos are super confident. I mean, seriously, they almost have arrows pointing at them saying “LOOK AT ME”. In this case, we get to see a little deeper. Sure, there’s confidence, but it can also be a distraction from looking at the person too hard. If you look too hard you might see the vulnerabilities, frustrations and fears that the person wearing them has.

In Scott’s eyes, Sam has always been beautiful but the ten years since he’s seen her, she’s become even more beautiful. Scott is a poshy (Sam’s word for a well-spoken, smartly dressed and rich person) and it doesn’t matter to him that they’re from two different worlds. It was obvious from the beginning that he would do ANYTHING to have and to hold Sam forever and ever. Sam, well, she’s a harder nut to crack. You can tell there’s an attraction to Scott, but she’s so scared of being hurt that she buries all deeper feelings. Seeing these two come together, put a huge and goofy smile on my face.

Holy shamoly, I’ve rambled again. I WANT TO SHOUT IT TO THE ROMANCE READING WORLD – EVE DANGERFIELD IS AWESOME!!! I know I haven’t done this story justice, but, I tried, lordy, how I tried. If you haven’t tried an Eve Dangerfield, I would highly suggest giving her a go. Mind you…WARNING, WARNING…Eve Dangerfield is a wee bit crass, doesn’t hesitate to test the boundaries and swears like a bloody trooper. But, she’s FUNNY!!!!

Even before she had extensive tattoos and a failing business, his attraction to Sam made no sense. She was an uncompromising exhibitionist and he was…British.

Samantha DaSilva knew her new neighbor was different from the first moment she spotted him spying on her and her sisters playing water balloon hopscotch. Sure, they were only eight at the time, but any kid that wears a suit and tie in his free time has got to be a little strange, right? Turns out Scott Sanderson’s posh demeanor was just the tip of the ice burg as far as the differences between him and Sam are concerned. She’s loud and gregarious, he’s quiet and a little closed off. She was raised by a free-spirited tattoo artist who wanted nothing but happiness for his daughters while Scott had to deal with an over bearing and cruel father. See where this is headed?

As childhood turned into the teenage years, the fascination between Scott and Sam turned into white hot chemistry. You know, the sexy kind. Whoever said opposites attract certainly knew what they were talking about.

There’s just one teeny, tiny problem. Though the lust is strong with these two, years of negativity and pranks gone wrong leave Sam and Scott unable to trust each other. After ten years apart, will either one be able to finally let their guard down enough to give the other a chance?

I could write a bunch of flowery prose outlining everything I felt while I was reading, but I’m just going to lay it all on the table. I freaking LOVED this book! Not your average, everyday kind of love, either. I’m talking about the kind of book love that has you still thinking about the characters days after you’ve finished reading. This book was the perfect blend of drama, heat and hilarity and I could not get enough.

The second chance “fate kept them apart” love story is my favorite of the romance tropes but throw in a whole lot of what feels like unrequited love into the mix and I’m sold. Sam makes it obvious (to herself, at least) from the beginning that she’s always had the hots for her prim and proper neighbor, regardless of his past evil ways, but the love Scott feels for Sam jumps right off the page. He’s all in for whatever Sam will let him give her, at least if she can let her guard down and learn to trust him. That’s easier said then done, but in a testament to the awesome writing of Eve Dangerfield, Sam doesn’t remain stubborn for too long. If a little of Sam’s negative attitude remains, at least homegirl is honest and upfront about it.

And come on, how’s a lady going to say no to a man down to dry hump the hell out of her in his brand spankin'new beamer after a Micky D’s run? Hot as hell with a side of classy.

So Wild is the first of the Silver Daughters Ink series, which means Sam’s sisters are going to get their own stories. Sam and Scott’s story perfectly sets up Nicole and Tabby’s stories and, to be honest, I’m not sure which sister I’m looking forward to the most. Tabby’s crazy, light hearted intelligence is bound to make her story entertaining, but I can’t wait to see Nicole loosen up a bit and open her eyes up to what’s right in front of her.

Whenever she talked to her dad about it he rambled about the karmic wheel, but Sam preferred to think of her and Nicole as proof of the unique human soul. How else did you explain a person with her exact face whose favourite singer was John fucking Mayer?

As you can probably surmise, I had the best time reading So Wild. Who knew that an opposites attract kind of couple could bring so much goodness. And spanking. Don’t forget about the spanking.

"This day has been such a fruit salad of fuckery."
LOL. I love reading Eve Dangerfield's stories; we just click. :D

The plot in a nutshell: Samantha and Scott grew up as neighbours/enemies who pranked each other relentlessly until Scott left for London to attend university. Now, ten years later, he's back in Melbourne, and shocked to find that he's just as drawn to Samantha as ever.
Even before she had extensive tattoos and a failing business, his attraction to Sam made no sense. She was an uncompromising exhibitionist and he was . . . British.
Sam, too, is at a loss to explain their attraction.
"Come on, what did Scott and I ever have in common besides an address and a weird love/hate thing? I've been psychologically edging myself on him for years."
These two had some great moments together, especially toward the end! I really loved Sam when she was having thoughts like this:
He was [...] virtuous and something about that just cried out for corruption.
And Scott when he was saying things like this:
"I've been in love with her since I was eight."
But there was a lot more to this story than hearts and flowers and lust, and I'm not quite sure if I liked either of these two raw, vulnerable characters when their flaws and insecurities were fully exposed. Some of their relationship felt a bit too real, too honest to be part of a romance novel.
"Until you trust me, there's nowhere we can go together that isn't ugly."
Does that make me a bit flaky? Probably. But some of this story was hard to read.
"He makes me feel broken. Like I didn't realise how messed up I was until I had him reflecting it back at me."
Fortunately, my flaky self found plenty of lighter moments in this book too. I ADORED the Silver Daughters 'world' that Ms. Dangerfield created. Sam's family made for some fabulous secondary characters. Nicole, her straight-laced twin, and their wacky baby sister, Tabby, and her hippy father, Edgar were all the kind of characters that I would love to spend more time with.

And of course, no Eve Dangerfield book would be complete without the kink. While sex played a smaller role than usual, the sexy times in this one were HOT, HOT, HOT!
"Consent aside, I have never wanted a man to be respectful to me in bed in my entire life."
Scott and Sam certainly didn't lack for chemistry together. Their attraction sparked right off the page and culminated in a roaring bonfire.
"You drive me wild, Samantha," he said, his voice thick with something both harder and kinder than anger.
I CANNOT WAIT for the next book! Please let it be Nicole's story because . . . EEEK!!!. . . her love interest is already on my book boyfriend list and I haven't even read their story yet. :D

A very warm thank you to the author for allowing me to read and then honestly review her work. <3

Eve Dangerfield is one of my favorite authors. When you pick up one of her books, you know you are going to get a unique and well-writing story. That said, this one wasn't one of my favorites of hers. The writing was great; the characters were well developed and fun. Although I did struggle with Sam a bit. She came across so immature to me at times. It also had some smokin' sex scenes and not a lot of drama. However, I found it a bit too slow moving for my tastes. I struggled to stay interested in the story and often found myself putting it aside to do other things. It did thankfully pick up around 60%, and I enjoyed the last 40%, and the ending was super sweet and made me cry.

So although not one of my favorites by this author (ACT YOUR AGE still holds that spot), it was still an enjoyable read, and I was super intrigued by both sisters and looking forward to seeing what this author has in store for them as well!

A tattoo artist heroine will always pique my interest because I just don't see enough of them in the romance world, and I love books that focus on the world of tattooing. That's what had me instantly ready with grabby hands to accept this ARC and I'm extremely happy that I got to read this book. Samantha is one of the craziest heroine I've read about which made her perfect. She definitely kept me interested in this story and I have to say she was my favorite character from it.

What was even better was seeing her with Scott, aka Galahad, and just how crazy he could make her. The two had this push-pull type of relationship that I found very fun to read about. I never knew if they would be fighting or if they would be ripping each other's clothes off. Their past was also brought into the story a lot, which is usually a very iffy thing for me, but in this case I actually enjoyed getting to see them as their younger selves and all the pranks they would pull on each other.

Overall, I definitely recommend reading this book. It was sexy and intriguing, and even funny at times. I am a little on the fence about the sisters' stories to come but Nicole and Tabby do have me intrigued so I know I'll be reading them.

“I always wanted Samantha to be my first.”

Scott and Sam begin a very interesting "friendship" from the moment he moves next door when they are eight years old. Communication is not their friend and that leads to quite a lot of pranking...some gone bad. He eventually moves back to England and they don't see each other for several years.

He turns back up just after Sam's Dad has taken off to have some me-time leaving Sam to run the family tattoo parlor and things are up in arms. Luckily, Sam's two sisters, Nicole and Tabby, come back to help get things on track in the work place and her love life as well.

Scott and Sam want each other very much and slowly work together trying to figure things out. It takes some adjusting but I love how much they were willing to do especially Scott towards the end.

Naturally, there's an issue and it concerns Scott's Dad. It was a bit of an overkill but I guess it had its place.

It was interesting to see how things were set up for both Nicole and Tabby. I'm really looking forward to reading their books.

Childhood “enemies”/ honestly not enemies. He was insanely into her, and had to constantly suppress his feelings as he watched her date other guys, prank him viciously, belittle him and tease him to an inch of his life for being a virgin when all he wanted was for her to be his. I really didn’t like the “auctioning off his virginity” website she created in retaliation when she convicted him for crime he wasn’t responsible for. All I could see were double standards if a man had done that to a woman. Aside from that, she was bullish, loud, secretly caring but would never admit it. Had her flaws as a teenager.

He’s the type of man every girl needs. I loved the way he loved her.

Returns to Melbourne ten years later after his mother died. Buffer, bigger, smarter, more experienced, still holding on to the h even if he won’t admit it to himself. Yes, got rid of the virginity. It’s a shame she didn’t see him how he always saw her. But her feelings had to grow overtime because she has quite a character arc. They have a bit of back story, a bit of resentment, a lot of fire with a dash of family feuding drama. She has two sisters (later books will revolve around them). And their love story starts or shall I say resumes.

This is a safe read on page because obviously she was with other men as a teen (not that we get details, just told).

“You drive me fucking wild, Samantha. You always have.”

description

Wow. I'm not sure how to review this book, but if nothing else I will say that it was panty melting, volcano like hot.

“There are people watching,” he muttered in her ear. “There are men watching you, Samantha. Wishing they could be where I am. How does that make you feel?” She wasn’t sure, but it did wring a near-painful throb out of her pussy. “More,” she said. “Scott, please tell me more?”

This was my second experience with an Eve Dangerfield's book and I must say that both times she succeeded to shock me and impress the hell out of me .

I loved Samantha's wild spirit and although she made Scott's life miserable when they were kids, I couldn't but love her wilderness, sass and sense of kink.

“You coming?”
She pulled him out of her mouth long enough to say, “Yes. Scott, can you please call me names?” ...“You filthy little slut, you love taking my cock. You’ve been dying for it. This is how it should have been last night, you pleasing me like this, pleasing both of us like this.”

The kink was more than I could handle, hence the four point five stars but if you guys are ready for a journey full of heat that would challenge your limits, then this is definitely your book.

“She closed her eyes, trying to feel all of him at once. “What are you like when you fuck?”
“Mean.”

IT'S ALIVEEEE! Happy book birthday!

----------------------------------------------

It was wonderful. And painful. It was like life.

OH MY GOSH, I loved this book. I mean, I was pretty excited to get Eve's message offering the arc to this book, but I was still not prepared. The blurb had me anxious to get my hands on it, and once I started reading, it sucked me right in.

Calling this a childhood slash second-chance romance doesn't quite feel right, because for all intents and purposes, Sam and Scott had been feuding since they were kids, with the underlying layer of 'these two are perfect for each other'. They just can't see that until later on.

Sam was a treat to read. She was all sharp edges and crass mannerisms, except to her family, and this book starts with her having to grow up quick. Like her dad vamoosed off to who knows where, and now their childhood home and the tattoo shop her dad owns and she works in is all now hers. No pressure, right? Except business isn't doing so hot, and now her two sisters, who quite literally escaped their town when they had the chance, are coming home to help her, and they couldn't all be more different. (Within that same vein - Tabby was my absolute FAVORITE. She was funny and bright, and I need more of her. Also, Nicole, Sam's identical twin... Eve, I need her and Noah's story like yesterday.)

Scott is returning to town after 10 years away and isn't ready to see Sam again. Not after he spent most of his youth, between their individual pranks, wanting to be with her. All of his private fantasies about them together were fruitless and he moved to London to escape his father. His dad's hatred for Sam's family has multiplied in the years Scott's been gone, and now he wants Scott to offer them a large amount of money to buy their property to likely destroy it.

When they're thrown together, first for the offer, then because they keep running into each other (quite literally), they have to address the past and the hurt they caused each other. Also all that underlying angst becauuuuseeee c'mon. You'll see. It's juicy, trust me.

Scott was such a cinnamon roll of good intentions and genuinely a good guy. I don't want to say he "tamed" Sam, more just supported her which in turn smoothed away her usual prickliness. Seeing them thrive apart and together was a journey I'm happy I took. Cannot WAIT for the next one.

"It was wonderful.
And painful.
It was like life."
This novel is 4.5 stars worthy.
Sometimes life just has a way of bringing you back to where it all started.
10 years later after Scott fled to London he is back and he is better.
Wish I could say the same for Sam, her father disappeared to better himself, her sisters are nowhere near her and she is in charge of everything. How is she to survive? Especially when she finds out her childhood nemesis/ pie thrower is back on her turf. How can she forget him when all she thinks about is him spanking her? Sam puts her thinking cap on and calls all that is dear and near to her to help fix the family business. We are then taken on a journey of witnessing the love that the sisters have for each other. We see how time does not heal wounds at all sometimes instead of burying the past it is just best to talk about it. Miscommunication happens all the time but that doesn't mean you should take a sharpie and draw vaginas on people. (READ SAID BOOK FOR MORE INFO)
Eve Dangerfield always writes the best romance novels so I am not surprised that this was oh so wonderful. I love that there was no commitment issue on Scott's part. He was willing to be patient and supporting of Sam. He just would not take the next step until she trust him. This was a good read and I do suggest to add it to your tbr list, it won't disappoint. (hOpefully).

3.5-4 stars! I adore the idea of childhood crushes getting to finally have their chance a second time around as adults. The story went by a little too slowly for my taste, but I still adored Scott and Sam.

Review to come!

3.5* drive me wild STARS!!

I was quite pessimist about anything with tattoos. I don't know why, honestly. Maybe because I live in conservative family who said tattoos = bad; especially for woman. I'm afraid I will sounds too judgemental. But when the blurb says: "Is a spanking adequate punishment for putting someone's virginity on eBay?", my quick answer is HECK YES!

Samantha DaSilva is the wildest heroine I've ever read. She has a loving father and her twin, Nicole aka Nix and the youngest, Tabitha aka Tabby (like a cat?). DaSilva is really wild family. It seems her father gives her freedom at any chance. DaSilva also owned a tattoo shop called Silver Daughters Ink and passed on to Samantha.

Scott Sanderson is the most "patient" man I've ever read. It's not that bad but not good either. Scott has a tough childhood also not-friendly father. Originally from London, he was easily picked because his posh appearance and always on battle with DaSilva sisters especially Samantha.

Imagined how surprised is Samantha when her neighbor dearest back again. Duh, it's totally awkward. But Samantha couldn't hide her interest towards Scott. He's matured and really different. But Samantha dismissed any dirty thought about him because her father run nowhere to be found and her evil neighbor's father wants their land.

I enjoyed the DaSilva's reunion when Sam's sisters decided to come and help the shop. The sisters really have different personality also their own problems. I could say they have such an interesting childhood despite some family drama. I just keep wanting for more and more until I didn't realize how long is the story. Of course, I was curious about how is their relationship gonna be after all this time.

Unfortunately, this is not hot enough to burn my kindle. Just steamy with the right amount of foreplay and hotness between Samantha and Scott. Also surprisingly, it was quite tame or not too kinky. Despite my problem with the sexy times, I quite enjoyed their romance. It was honest and cute. They're already falling for each other since childhood and so the chemistry.

Every couple has their own back and forth. However, Samantha and Scott handled their problems like a champion. No shitty feelings involved. Maybe it is only me, but I feel their final together is too rushed. Also I still didn't understand why Scott won't cut ties with his toxic father, or maybe it is just me. But overall, it is a swoon-worthy romance with good laugh between the characters. I couldn't control my LOL with all of them. Can't wait for the other sisters's story.

What a cute read featuring one of my favorite tropes--childhood-friends-turn-lovers--and the most unforgettable combination of protagonists! When a shy boy with stutters and an extroverted girl covered with all kinds of tattoos, seriously, what's not to love about them? I've always enjoyed stories about couples with completely opposite characteristics, from how they get along with each other to the way they solidify their relationship, and all the way through the ups and downs in their unexpected lives...even down to the last details. Thus, I'm absolutely stoked to see the sparks between our lovely Scott and Sam ignite.

What I love most is Scott's unbelievable transformation from a super shy, wordless, unconfident boy to someone who's daring to live out loud and try something new *cough* in bed *cough*. I also appreciate the positive impact Sam has on him, because of her sincerity and outgoing personality, she has helped Scott learn better of himself even when they were kids. Besides, I adore Scott's curiosity and naivety as well as Sam's feisty and sassiness. Ahh, they are probably the cutest couple I've ever seen in New Adult books!!

I've got to say that Eve's writing is getting better and more eloquent throughout all of her books I've read. She never fails to amaze me by the incredible story setting, plot twists, and character development. Hence, I'm glad to tell you that I definitely RECOMMEND So Wild to anyone who likes steamy AND heartfelt romance.

Had a solid begging but got more and more frustrating; both characters and plot.
1 reason being that there were too many outside sources that were getting in the way of the romance.
2nd reason being the heroine, while great at times, could not get her shit together to save her life. The hero deserved so much better.

Will not be reading the next two books about the h's sisters. Nicole is a wet blanket that continues to stay engaged to a man that continuously cheats on her. And Tabby comes off as annoying, erratic, white trash that also freeloads of her family and friends. Not people I route for.

“Until you trust me, there’s nowhere we can go together that isn’t ugly.”

A filthy, sexy, and emotional start to a brand new series!

So Wild by Eve Dangerfield is book one in the new Silver Daughters Ink series. OMG! This book had everything! It touched on tropes that I crave like enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, second chance romance…I couldn’t put it down! I absolutely ADORED Scott and Sam! And don’t even get me started on the secondary characters. The whole DaSilva clan was amazing! I can’t wait for the other books! It had a great family drama aspect to it that had me rooting for more than just the budding romance. It was sexy! It was witty! It was fast-paced and insanely addicting! This is a one-sitting read that will entertain you, captivate you, and intrigue you. Sam’s just a BAD ASS and Scott is sexy, protective, and has an unexpected dirty mouth. Ugh! Now that I’m writing my thoughts down, I want to experience this love story all over again!

As I've said before - Contemporary Romance remains my most difficult genre. I feel like without the world-building of fantasy or the PG-nature of YA it just rushes headlong into sex and entanglements with characters that I barely know and don't particularly like.

I'm just coming off of Muse which is over 500 pages long and the second book in a series. Plus all of Muse's world building was done in StD. So I had over 1000 pages to get to know characters, watch them develop and be comfortable with their relationships and decisions.

The first 20% of this book felt like it was in fast-forward. I heard Alvin and the Chipmunk voices in my head as I read. I struggle with caring about the relationship when the characters are virtual strangers. This is not unique to this book - it happens to me over and over in CR. Honestly, sometimes I debate no longer reading the genre. Or at least no longer reading ARCs. Should I review a genre that I'm not naturally inclined to like?

All of this aside - I enjoyed aspects of this story. I loved the sisters - their struggles, the way they had one another's backs. I liked scenes that had them in it. Their sisterly relationships were well-displayed through the writing.

The romance wasn't bad. A little kink. The heroine was an awful communicator who was unnecessarily hard on the hero. But she had self-awareness. She grew. I can respect that.

All in all it was a fine read. I didn't skim. I wasn't dying for it to be over. I don't think I'll read more in the series, but that's not a huge surprise. I'm glad that I read this book. It was perfectly ok.

*3.5 Stars!*

Known for her "hot-as-hell" romances, Eve Dangerfield is an author who has slowly started to climb her way onto my favorites list so I couldn't wait to see what she had in stores for us with this newest series. I didn't even read the blurb beforehand, I just dove right in.

When Scott Sanderson moved in next door, Samantha DaSilva took in upon herself to make his life hell. Prank after prank, the two spent years going at each other until one incident landed them both in some serious trouble. After that, Scott took off to university and Samantha never heard from him again. Years later and Samantha is struggling to keep her family's tattoo parlor afloat when Scott walks back into her life. Though neither one can deny their attraction for one another, Samantha can't seem to let go of the past and tries to find any excuse for why she and Scott shouldn't be together. But when she realizes how wrong she is, will it be too late to fix things?

Full disclosure, when I started So Wild I was in a bit of a reading rut and it took me quite some time until I became fully invested in this story. But once I did, I was hooked and couldn't put it down. I love the concept of a romance revolving around a trio of sisters who need to work together in order to save the family tattoo parlor and the relationship between the DaSilva sisters was one of my favorite thing about this story. They're all so different and may argue like hell but if one of them is in need, the other two will drop whatever they are doing just to help their sister out. Samantha is a sassy tattoo artist who gives no fucks about what others think of her. She's devoted to her work and tries to never get attached to anyone outside of her family. But for some reason she can't seem to shake Scott and honestly I don't blame the girl because Scott is one fine specimen. Scott may be all business with his suits and formalities, but once he gets to the bedroom and rolls up them sleeves it's a whole different Scott. Scotty boy has a mouth on him and he knows how to use it and I was swooning so hard for him. The romance is an angsty one since Scott and Samantha have to work through their issues from the past before they can move forward. It's so funny because on paper one would think that these two have nothing in common but in reality they couldn't be a more perfect match. I love how supportive Scott is of Samantha and her career and will literally shut down anyone who tries to make any rude remarks about her. I hope we get to see more of these two together as the series goes on. So Wild was a angst and sexy read and I'm anxiously awaiting the next book in the series. We've already gotten some hints on who the potential love interests will be for the next two DaSilva sisters and I'm dying to know how things play out for these couples.

"This day has been such a fruit salad of fuckery."

'So Wild' is a classic, enemies-to-lovers romance with a whole lot of lust, love and passion thrown in. And trademark Eve Dangerfield humor!

Scott and Samantha grew up next door to each other. They spent years pranking each other but then Scott left Australia for London. Now he is back and they are all grown up. Scott is a businessperson and Samantha is as Bohemian as ever but is now in charge of her family's tattoo shop. Classic case of opposites attract!

"She was passion itself, wrapped in an insanely gorgeous body. She'd been that way from the moment he'd seen her. Fearless. Wild."

If you have ever read any Eve Dangerfield then you know she is FILTHY. Like, really erotic romance with lots of humor. Always humor. And so both Scott and Sam can't believe they are still so attracted to each other even after all these years. They both are hilarious! Sometimes unintentionally so.

"The fucking boy next door, who knew he was such a good kisser?"

This book is not as kinky as some of Ms. Dangerfield's other books but there's still plenty to go around here. And as always, the author's characters have real insecurities and issues which they must work out together. Sam has trust issues which Scott is more than happy to help her with.

The tattoo shop plays a central role in this book and Sam's sisters will each get their own story. This is a lively, hot, funny and ultimately romantic story that was really fun to read. I ADORE Ms. Dangerfield's brand of humor and thoroughly enjoyed Scott and Sam's story!

"It was wonderful. And painful. It was like life."

This was a fantastic start to this series and I'm wicked excited to read more about these sisters. There were so many things about this story, and these characters that I just loved, but I'm crunched for time this morning so I'll just say that I expect awesomeness from Ms. Dangerfield and I'm always ecstatic when she delivers.

I have adored every single thing Eve Dangerfield has written. And this book is no different.

Sam and Scott were childhood enemies and hot not seen each other in years.

But when they meet up again, they both struggle with the fact that they never actually really hated each other and have an undeniable attraction to each other.

The hero and heroine were a bit different from what I feel I have read from this author before. But I loved them both.

They were complicated yet very relateable real people that just pulled you into their story.

I loved how we went back and forth to the past and present, and over all just how much this book made me feel for Sam and Scott. Especially Scott. I truly hated his dad.

All in another excellent book. Yet again Eve Dangerfield proves she can write very different characters and stories, yet all with the same knack of pulling you in and making you never want to finish the story.
