As a teenager, Samantha DaSilva had two interests: running wild and messing with her posh neighbour. The neighbour moved away—the coward—but the wild kept right on going. At least it did until her hippie father vanished, leaving her in charge of the family tattoo studio. As Sam struggles to keep the business afloat her childhood nemesis returns, taller, blonder and more of ...more

I wish I had the physical copy of this book so I could hug it to my chest, you really can't do that with a phone/tablet. Just doesn't feel the same. I also want to hug Eve Dangerfield but I'm sure there are laws against stalking and attack-hugging your favourite authors. I was so excited when I got this ARC that when I sat down to read it I could not sit still, I was fidgeting like crazy until page 5. After that, I was laser focused on it, lik

I’m ashamed to say that So Wild is actually my first book by Eve Dangerfield. I have no idea why, especially so as Eve is an Aussie author and since I am Australian, I feel somewhat regretful that I haven’t read her before. So Wild was a great book to start my Eve Dangerfield journey with, I absolutely loved everything from the flawless writing, to the d

Oh, how the tattoos have changed…

My first memory of tattoos was back in the day when I worked in my family’s hardware store. Picture this…my blokey 6’ 1” dad, my English Rose and petite mum, my two sisters and I, selling paint, tools and manly man stuff. This particular day, Dad and I were working by ourselves and I think I was about 13 or 14. Dad stepped out for a minute and I was “Supervising” the store. In walks a very tall, muscly and bearded biker dude. Now, you’d think I’d be intimidated,

Even before she had extensive tattoos and a failing business, his attraction to Sam made no sense. She was an uncompromising exhibitionist and he was…British.

Samantha DaSilva knew her new neighbor was different from the first moment she spotted him spying on her and her sisters playing water balloon hopscotch. Sure, they were only eight at the time, but any kid that wears a suit and tie in his free time has got to be a little strange, right? Turns out Scott Sanderson’s posh demeanor was

Now this may seem like a random thing to start a review with but...

The day before I was offered this arc I’d just had my one and only tattoo (from over 20 years ago) covered and completely redone.

I just thought I’d throw that in there. Anyway back to the book.

I loved it.
It worked it’s as simple as that.

A couple of pages in and I couldn’t put it down. Scott Sanderson moved next door to Sam and her sisters when he was eight years old. He found himself completely captivated by her. Sam was an

Eve Dangerfield is one of my favorite authors. When you pick up one of her books, you know you are going to get a unique and well-writing story. That said, this one wasn't one of my favorites of hers. The writing was great; the characters were well developed and fun. Although I did struggle with Sam a bit. She came across so immature to me at times. It also had some smokin' sex scenes and not a lot of drama. However, I found it a bit too slow moving for my tastes. I struggled to stay interested

A tattoo artist heroine will always pique my interest because I just don't see enough of them in the romance world, and I love books that focus on the world of tattooing. That's what had me instantly ready with grabby hands to accept this ARC and I'm extremely happy that I got to read this book. Samantha is one of the craziest heroine I've read about which made her perfect. She definitely kept me interested in this story and I have to say she was my favorite charac

LOL. I love reading Eve Dangerfield's stories; we just click. :D

The plot in a nutshell: Samantha and Scott grew up as neighbours/enemies who pranked each other relentlessly until Scott left for London to attend university. Now, ten years later, he's back in Melbourne, and shocked to find that he's just as drawn to Samantha as ever.

I really liked this book. This is my first book by this author but it sure won’t be my last.

The chemistry between Sam and Scott is off the charts! They first met when they were kids and have been “enemies” since then. They haven’t seen each other in 10 years but Scott is back in Melbourne and that’s when the fun begins. Scott and Sam are so perfect for each other, I was rooting for them from the start. Even when they were feuding you know they are meant to be together.

Childhood “enemies”/ honestly not enemies. He was insanely into her, and had to constantly suppress his feelings as he watched her date other guys, prank him viciously, belittle him and tease him to an inch of his life for being a virgin when all he wanted was for her to be his. I really didn’t like the “auctioning off his virginity” website she created in retaliation when she convicted him for crime he wasn’t responsible for. All I could see were double standards if a man had done that to a

“I always wanted Samantha to be my first.”

Scott and Sam begin a very interesting "friendship" from the moment he moves next door when they are eight years old. Communication is not their friend and that leads to quite a lot of pranking...some gone bad. He eventually moves back to England and they don't see each other for several years.

He turns back up just after Sam's Dad has taken off to have some me-time leaving Sam to run the family tattoo parlor and things are up in arms. Luckily, Sam

Wow. I'm not sure how to review this book, but if nothing else I will say that it was panty melting, volcano like hot.

It was wonderful. And painful. It was like life.

OH MY GOSH, I loved this book. I mean, I was pretty excited to get Eve's message offering the arc to this book, but I was still not prepared. The blurb had me anxious to get my hands on it, and once I started reading, it sucked me right in.

Calling this a childhood slash second-chance romance doesn't quite feel right, because for all intents and purposes, Sam and Scott

I was quite pessimist about anything with tattoos. I don't know why, honestly. Maybe because I live in conservative family who said tattoos = bad; especially for woman. I'm afraid I will sounds too judgemental. But when the blurb says: "Is a spanking adequate punishment for putting someone's virginity on eBay?", my quick answer is HECK YES!

What a cute read featuring one of my favorite tropes--childhood-friends-turn-lovers--and the most unforgettable combination of protagonists! When a shy boy with stutters and an extroverted girl covered with all kinds of tattoos, seriously, what's not to love about them? Enemies to lovers - to the extreme! They hated each other growing up. A little over the top with all the pranks - I got tired of it.

But when adults - the hero is a super stuffy, posh banker and the heroine is a wild, tattoo artist whose life is chaotic. I liked her a lot. When the hero gets into bed, he takes control and is dirty. As this author tends to write.

Super sexy. I loved her sisters (although a bit over the top). Will def read their stories.

Had a solid begging but got more and more frustrating; both characters and plot.
1 reason being that there were too many outside sources that were getting in the way of the romance.
2nd reason being the heroine, while great at times, could not get her shit together to save her life. The hero deserved so much better.

Will not be reading the next two books about the h's sisters. Nicole is a wet blanket that continues to stay engaged to a man that continuously cheats on her. And Tabby come

As I've said before - Contemporary Romance remains my most difficult genre. I feel like without the world-building of fantasy or the PG-nature of YA it just rushes headlong into sex and entanglements with characters that I barely know and don't particularly like.

I'm just coming off of Muse which is over 500 pages long and the second book in a series. Plus all of Muse's world building was done in StD. So I had over 1000 pages to get to know characters, watch them develop and be comfortable with t

This was such a fun, and crazy read. I adored the DaSilva sisters, all of them unique in their own way, with their own quirks and character traits.

Sam was a wild spirit, she lived freely, and she didn't care about anyone and anything (but only on the outside), on the inside she had some insecurities, and it made her a bit closed of, and it was hard for her to trust, especially men.
